I love the way you try things out side your comfort zone. You show the oops as well as the good stuff. It encourages me to try new techniques. Thank you 😁
Love this card ... the original background, the stamp, the fun sentiments. And that tip with the stamp cleaner. What!!! Going to give that a try for sure. Thanks for sharing!
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your videos and their sense of FUN! Where you don't take all of this SOOOOO seriously...meanwhile turning out some lovely cards. Thank you.
Gorgeous card, even if purple got shafted! 😂 I rarely use a wood block stamp since someone gifted me with a stamp positioner. I took most of my stamps off their blocks. I don’t own any Distress Oxide inks yet, but I was wondering if they stuck to the embossing more than dye inks. The trick with the stamp cleaner seems to have cleaned some of that off! Great tip! I don’t have my mom with me anymore, but remember (especially with that stamp set!) that “MOM” upside down spells “WOW!” 😊❤️
Love all your videos! Not only for your craft but your voice and your sense of humor, your expressions are so relatable. It is like a therapy session for me.:) Love you Cathy! Keep crafting!❤️
OMG...I love you so much. "I don't know...does it help to count?!" You crack me up. I seriously enjoy watching your video. You really brighten my day, even if you don't know it. Thank you for all the laughs and the wonderful tutorials! You are a serious gem! Between you, Jennifer, Gina K and Laura Bassen...I'm in heaven when your videos come out! Thank you! 💖💖😁😁🥰
Holy 😳! That tip with the stamp cleaner was AMAZING!!! And pooooor purple...never gets a chance with you. 😂 I think your next challenge should be, “Purple? Now what?” 🤣
Love love love the butterfly & rainbow background!!! The stamp set is amazing & so is the card! As always, you did an awesome job with creating & inspiring!!! Thanks so very much Cathy, YOU ROCK LADY!!!
Wow, Cathy! That was heroic! You stamped the background in clear ink with a wood block and didn't disturb any embossing powder. Not sure I would have done so well. I am amazed by the effect of the stamp cleaner on the embossing. Your card is gorgeous, and the sentiments in this new set are so much fun!
I always bought wooden stamps in the beginning. I loved them. But they take up more room to store . I love your butterfly 🦋 background very pretty. My mum died 3 yrs ago in Uk . My dr’s said I was not able to make the journey home 12 hour flight so I missed her funeral. Butterfly’s mean a lot to me Cathy as I scattered my late husband’s ashes almost 19 years ago. two butterfly’s appeared. So Thank you for choosing butterflies for a Mother’s Day card. Even though mother day was in March in uk. I never forget. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us.🥰🥰🥰🦋🦋🦋🦋
Love the snarky Mom's Day sentiments and I have a request. I really need Mom's Day sentiments for all the other women in my life; my daughters and daughter-in-law, my sisters and sisters-in-law and friends. I only make one card a year for my Mom but the other dozen cards I make are for all the other wonderful women in my life that I want to support and let them know I've noticed and appreciate them as Moms.
If my mom was still alive this set would be perfect. I too was a difficult child and I'm sure these are all true statements of how she felt sometimes. Love you videos! Thanks for being you and creating these wonderful stamps!
The more ink on your foam, the easier it is to blend, which is an advantage of having a foam for each color that you can leave the ink in between sessions. The same principle applies to blending with markers, which is why laying down a background of the lightest color helps the blending go more smoothly.
Love the card... "the sound effects with ink, I gotta try" lol Have a blessed day... P.S. My husband and I met Ohio Soldiers and Sailors Orphans Home... Another P.S. I have been wanting to tell you, I took your class at CKU... I learned so much in your class which I still use in crafting today . Stacy Jullian called me the photo stalker, "i took a picture of her talking on the oversized cell phone..lol I attended the 2003 and 2006 classes. My friends were jealous that I took a class from a new guy called Tim Holtz. Rebecca Higgins was there a young girl I think she was taking classes. Wow long time ago. That was a blast from the past moment...
Just ordered the sassy mom collection. I might make her one card for each quote. She’s 87 and I’m sure there were plenty of them I missed through the years.
Great stamping job, especially for freehand. I’m a little phobic about my freehand skills too. Get daring occasionally though. You might want to mention that when you cut an aperture to put it in the sleeve with your dies so you can reuse it over and over. Saves time and paper if you keep it.
Love your card, Cathy. The colours are just so vibrant. I am a fan of the medical dramas love Grey's, The Resident and especially the Good Doctor as I have a son with Autism it just resonates with me, plus the boop you make, my son says boop when he wants to boop our noses together his way of giving a hug. Hope you have a great day :)
Love the card! My mom would adore it too, she loves butterflies. Thinking about the MFT butterflies stamp and die set after your video:D and I love the funny texts haha 😂 I also recommend New Amsterdam:p love medical shows too. And thank you I can never watch someone putting on sequins without booping in my head🤣
I love this beautiful card!!! Thanks for all the GREAT tips you shared with us ❣ NOT a hot mess! BTW...thank your Mom for doing a wonderful job in raising YOU!
I enjoy your free range stamping. I wish you would come to my house and tell me what to do with my stamps and dies! You do such a great job. I love the Good Doctor too!
Pretty card, and the stamp set is cute. I believe “wood mounted” and “cling” are 2 different types of stamp. Your butterfly stamp is a rubber stamp which is wood mounted. It might come in cling form, too, but cling is a rubber stamp mounted solely on foam with indexing on the top of the foam, no wood, and it clings to your usual acrylic block to stamp. A cling stamp will be flexible when not mounted and take less room to store than a wood mounted stamp, which is always mounted on its wooden block (unless you decide to unmount it, but that’s a different kettle of fish).
Fun, fun, fun! Yay Daniel Diaz for the tip! I’m going to try that next time I do a resist too! I had a feeling he was a professional, at the very least a DT member, probably for PinkFresh. I love your card and my aren’t we getting bold on the free range stamping! Lol! All that matters is that you’re having fun. I thought you were also VERY brave for using an untested technique on your UA-cam!
This was a joy to watch, you are as funny as you are clever! I learn something every time I watch you. Your friends tip for shining up the stamping was right on the money and I will be trying that myself so thanks for sharing. Can’t wait for the next video!🥰
You slay me! Love you videos! We adopted our daughter from Korea and we always tell her that we bought her at the "Made in Korea Store". She now tells people that!
I've had the best luck cleaning ink off the resist with an ever-so-slightly dampened paper towel, not enough to react the blended ink in the background. I love your style, your personality, and your honesty about challenges, mistakes, or just plain dislikes! So happy I found your channel.
I cannot tell you just how much the BOOPS make me laugh. While I love all of your videos, the ones with the BOOPS are classic. Thanks for all that you do for us!
lol... def have to pick up that stamp set... my mom exactly with a few more we can't say outside the house... lol, perfect for kids like me with moms like mine... Your videos crack me up and def are fun and an inspiration, thanks.
I love how humble you are without self-deprivation. I’m your biggest fan, Catholink
I love the way you try things out side your comfort zone. You show the oops as well as the good stuff. It encourages me to try new techniques. Thank you 😁
Go for it!
It is brighter, it’s not your imagination and it is beautiful. Thanks for passing that tip along. Tell your friend thank you also.
I love this stamp! I would definitely do this card for my mama if she was still alive. You just make me smile every day.😁
You and I clearly have the same sense of humor. I’m nor saying if that is good or bad!!
Love this card ... the original background, the stamp, the fun sentiments. And that tip with the stamp cleaner. What!!! Going to give that a try for sure. Thanks for sharing!
I love watching you Create beautiful cards❤️❤️

LOL, "Does it help to count?" I guess so, cuz I do that too! Such a pretty card!
You make it look 👀 so easy Cathy. Thanks 🙏
I really like the way the “mom” is cut down further between the o and the respective m’s. Looks really neat. Lovely, lovely card. 🥰
Glad you like it!
Red rubber on wood; going old school! I've been stamping since the early 90's and that's all there was back then. Your card is so pretty!
mombelievable is great sentiment. Love it!
I’m loving your butterfly rainbow background! Wish my mom were still here, she would love these sassy sentiments!

You never disappoint. I love butterflies.... if I ever get a tattoo... it'll be a butterfly. So lovely!
Wow, Cathy! That was heroic! You stamped the background in clear ink with a wood block and didn't disturb any embossing powder. Not sure I would have done so well. I am amazed by the effect of the stamp cleaner on the embossing. Your card is gorgeous, and the sentiments in this new set are so much fun!
Wow that is such a simple thing yet looks great.

Glad you found me, too!
