Now I am going to age myself. Back in the day, we called the gum adhesive thingey "rubber cement pick-up" from the art store....you use it to pick up rubber cement from mechanicals. Thanks Cathy! Lee
@@czdesign You’re welcome and that should have said blob (meant in the best possible way), not blog! I fixed it. {Go bother someone else, autospell lady.}
Cute card. I’m really enjoying this series, “New stamps, now what?” Also, you do have a fun personality. You make me LOL, very loudly. Thank you for that.
Love this! You haven't "potched" in a hot minute. The textured side of that paper is so good! Thank you for making everything look doable for dabblers like me.
I like watching you because you admitted messing up your water and things like that. You should see the hot mess I get going. I like that stencil and could use it for a sea scene.
I love this stencil there’s so much you can do with it! I’m not that proficient with watercolor and this gives you more control, compared to the clear watercolor stamps that you smoosh watercolors on. I want more control like this stencil gives you. You could also use a dry iron to flatten the paper, I would still use the laminator paper over it or a flour sac kitchen towel. Recently I got the Crafter’s Magic Wand Picker & Poker from Maker Forte. I like it a lot because it has a cover for each end. So you don’t stab your self with the poker it doesn’t hurt that it’s rainbow colored and shiny.
When snipping the pokey pieces, I do this over one of those magnetic bowls so that they fly to the bowl instead of around the room. (If I slant the die and snip towards the bowl.)
A gal in a recent retreat group posted a neat water well thing that has a reservoir and a little platform well. It delivers fresh water from the reservoir, holds it into the well platform, you use it until you change colors, then push a button that Flushes the well platform, then you refil the little well with fresh water. It’s neat. C9FBG.
Heyyyyy, your nail polish changed!! You're magic!! You are such a joy to see and hear!! Thanks for another wonderful video, and by the way, I love your beautiful card!! ~Audrina
Yeah, I often film my intros on different days… days when I shower and put a dab of make up on! lol! So the magic of the quick change? All smoke and mirrors!
SO glad you went with the vellum! Your card looks great and I was super happy to see Pixie Spray in use. I've had a can for quite a while but was nervous about using it...now I'm not.😊
Oh Hey, Another great card from the desk of... Master Crafter! The way the water color colorway moves from color to color is, well, exquisite! A super big thanks for sharing your talent! Also, where would be with out the "boop"? Look forward to your next card sesh 👉
Definitely NOT a hot mess! I was going to say during the live that I agree 100% with you on how easy distress inks make creating a watercolor effect for those whose watercolor experience is limited! And even though I've started getting the hang of "real" watercolor (alas, only for backgrounds and splatters, I'm definitely not a painter ...) I feel that this is so fast!
Gorgeous die and lovely colors. You always make immaculate cards. I really enjoy your commentary too..especially those out loud thoughts. Thanks for making my day!
Love the card! A suggestion for cutting the dies apart from my jewelry-making days: put your finger over the little sticky-out you’re cutting off (on the far side of the cutters). That will keep sharp bits from flying all over the room.
You are such a delight. I must say... you're very delicate with the glue...I am slow to learn that less is more in the glue department. This card is soooooo good... love, love, love!
Cathy, love your card and tutorials. I’m so excited, I just ordered that stencil and a lot more from MFT! Yea crafty me! Seriously, MFT design team just won a gold medal with their new watercolor wash stencils. Sheer creative genius. Plus, we have a new distress ink color to look forward to. 😄😄🤩🤩
seriously, how do 12 people give you a thumb down? You make melaugh and learn on all your videos. I so enjoy them. Thanks and I just ordered this stencil last week and cant wait to use it!
Another beautiful card. Thanks for sharing. I can't understand people being negative. Didn't their mother say -if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all?
And why do people give a "thumbs down"? Just move along if you didn't like, but GEEZ this woman put her heart into sharing a creative moment and you have to give it a thumbs down? What have they created and shared? Art is always a thumbs up thing!
Cathy, I'm re-watching this afternoon to catch what I missed earlier (I listen in while I work so I miss a lot of stuff!) and I just gotta say I'm just waiting for you to talk about "Happy Trees" the way your voice gets all soft and happy laying down that watercolor a la Bob Ross! LOVE it!
I hope I get the Spellbinders machine for birthday (bigger one). I have some Stamps Of Life card base dies that won't fit in my big shot. Enjoy your videos.
I don’t know what I enjoy more, your card making or your personality 😂😍
Oh thank you!
I totally agree with you Sheila, I love watching Cathy create but that charm and personality makes me smile every time ❣🤗
Your absolutely right. I know I can mess up and it will be OK
Her personality makes me smile every video!😊👍🏻
Haha i KNOW BOTH!!!!!
Best tip - die hair gone! Cool stencil/background and your card looks so pretty.
"I think I'll put it on my nose" that just cracked me up. Love the stencil and the colors. Die hairs must be related to pixel dust, cousins perhaps.
A perfect example of less is more. I love this card!
"Holy buckets, Charlie" 😂
I definitely heard something else at first...hahahaha
Love the simplicity of this card. And your "boops" are called for when applying embellishments.
I need Pixie spray !!
Now I am going to age myself. Back in the day, we called the gum adhesive thingey "rubber cement pick-up" from the art store....you use it to pick up rubber cement from mechanicals. Thanks Cathy! Lee
Yes! I remember that!
Hahaha! Nothing in particular, just another fun-filled evening with Catzerella.
Yay the boops always make the card that much better.
Wow! That white/vellum lettering looks fantastic on the watercolor. It’s a Cathy Classic!
Belly laugh on the Biore nose strips reference to die hairs 😂
You always say "boop" because if you don't we're all disappointed. It's a thing! Love this card so much. Simple but so beautiful.
Just getting to watch this….awesome card!!! Love the colors!
Beautiful card! Thank you, Cathy!
Beautiful card! Love the vellum behind the Happy Birthday die.
22:15 - legit had tears at this part! 🤣🤣🤣
I didn’t think I needed a random blob-shaped stencil, but way to prove me wrong! 🤑
Right? And there is so much more than just painting with it!
Oh Cathy...your sweet persona is good for the soul!! TFS your beautiful card and making me chuckle!!
Nice card Cathy, I love the shadow die cut made of vellum and the rainbow behind the sentiment. Thank for sharing your art!
Great card. The simpler the idea the better the card. Thanks Cathy x
This is one of my favorites of the cards that you've done. It's simple and clean and fresh. Love it!
Thanks so much!
Love this card Cathy. I see myself “needing” that stencil. LOL
It's SO fun!
That stenciled watercolor blob is beyond gorgeous. The little color fingers into the solid color. The edges. {swoon}
Thank you so much!

Thank you so much, Cindy!
I already know it will be incredible because it’s got purple!
I love this card. The colours are very subtle and the shape reminds me of a rainbow pony. Perfect for a little girls birthday. Thanks for sharing ⭐️
Love this! You haven't "potched" in a hot minute. The textured side of that paper is so good! Thank you for making everything look doable for dabblers like me.
I missed potching!
Thanks for the tip on the removal of die hairs. And yes, that’s a real thing!!! Lol. You are very funny.
Another classic! I put my watercolour between 2 thin sheets of paper and run it through my Big Shot. It works for me.
LOVE this card! Colors are beautiful!!
Thank you for sharing the beautiful and simple card (Yeah!) and the laughs, Cathy! I appreciate the smiles and chuckles that you bring to my days:)
You are so welcome
I like watching you because you admitted messing up your water and things like that. You should see the hot mess I get going. I like that stencil and could use it for a sea scene.
Oh! Cathy - you are an absolute hoot! Gotta love you!
LOVE the vellum "shadow"!
You tickle me pink every time I watch one of your videos. Love your happiness and your ideas. :)
Great card!!! Looks so great!!! ❤️❤️
Definitely not a hot mess!!! Love the watercolor blending 💖
Thank you!! 😊

That is a fantastic stencil! Great card, and video, Cathy!
Your card is gorgeous Cathy and that stencil is brilliant! Perfect for non-watercolourers like me who need to control where the colour goes.
Thank you so much!
When you were snipping your pokeys off the die, I closed my eyes so they wouldn't fly into them. Really, Andrea...it's a VIDEO!
😂 😆
😂
😆
😄 I do the same thing
HAHA! Love it!
What a FUN & ELEGANT card Cath!!! Nicely done Girlie! Hugs my crafty Sister XOXOXO
This is one gorgeous card. I love that stencil and the colours you used 🌈
Glad you like it!
I love your color combination, and the vellum behind "happy birthday" is perfect!!!!
I totally agree. It gave it a real shadow effect!
I think this is one of my favorite cards I’ve seen you make! Such a pretty color combination!
Great video as always Cathy. You make creating look so fun! Always look forward to seeing your amazing creativity. 💜
When snipping the pokey pieces, I do this over one of those magnetic bowls so that they fly to the bowl instead of around the room. (If I slant the die and snip towards the bowl.)
I don't have a minc or laminator, but I run my warpy paper through my Big Shot with new plates to flatten. Works for me.
Fabulous! I’m loving the use of distress inks rather than oxides.
Ooh adding crystallized salt would be really pretty when it’s wet!
Great idea!!!! 💕
Need this stencil! "messy rules, except I said there are no rules.." You crack me up!
I agree with Shelia. Your a hoot to watch( in the best way possible)

Beautiful card and another wonderfully entertaining video! Thanks for the great tips too!
I just get so much from your video’s. Thank you Cathy for sharing I ordered it yesterday all of them. Have a great evening.❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the idea on running the warped water papers through the Laminater!😍
Glad it was helpful!
GUURRRRLLLL!!! This is so awesome! Now I need this stencil!!! This is so amazing!!!!

Pretty card. I so enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing 😊🤗😊🤗😊😊

I could watch you all day long. :) Not saying I would be expecting you to do an 8 hr video! Lol. Thanks Cathy. Hugs
You're the best!
I like the simplicity of this design so much I'm off to see what I have that will create something similar. 🙋
Have fun!
I thought those dots over letters was called a tilde? Now I'm not sure!! I love that stencil for a controlled mess!!!
The tilde is the wavy mark above the tab key on the keyboard, under the accent mark, that goes over senor for example ;)
What she said!
Beautiful card!! I really like how you used the stencil 😁
I adore this card! TVs!
Love the card and love love your personality! So much fun and frivolity watching you Cathy, thank you!

I agree! They have other styles too. Smart designers they have!
I suggest try to have a metalic or shimmery edge of the water colour blob
Thank you for the great card and the many smiles -BOOP!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love your little “boops”!

Beautiful card!! That stencil is really cute! Love your videos Cathy! You are so hilarious while providing a great tutorial…please keep your “boops” 😂
Thank you so much!
Thanks for brightening my day again. You’re a treasure. And I loved Van Halen, too. Thanks for sharing. This is beautiful!
They were my very first cassette tape purchase! Their first album!
@@czdesign Right on! We saw them in concert and it was quite a show!
Fabulous card! I wish they had come out with a die cut for that. That could be fun too!
I love this card! Watercoloring is something I am trying to learn and it’s tough keeping things from getting muddy.
You can do it!
