It seems like your prayers have been answered. Today LineageOS 20 released, also for the OnePlus 7T. It's based on Android 13. I am hesitating to check it out, as there's no official support for Android 13 on this phone from OnePlus coming at all (Android 12 will be the final release from them for this (still amazing) phone). But maybe I am old fashioned with this. As I used to run custom ROMs on Samsung phones in the past.
Actually was super surprised when I saw this released, and it includes the 7 series! - A12 was only released recently. Always appreciate when devs keep a device more relevant than OnePlus does, and I expect this will still be an excellent choice for a de-googled device.
Finally looking into custom ROMs after being less then impressed by the oxygenOS 12 update on a 7 pro, how is android 13 flamingo OS holding up? That's the one I'm leaning towards trying out first.
Sad to see the end of Flamingo - without using the current versions much, I expect: If you don't want to root to use Google apps, go with YAAP. If you want a clean Google free experience go with LOS
How is with video image stabilization on Gcam? Using Gcam with stock rom never allows the image stabilization to work and it also crashes some times. Thanks
@@FilthyCasualTech I would like to use a well scale software on my OP7 for 1-2 year, and very important for me the software developing (Android main releases tracking, and the security patches)
Will have to see how things go long term, it may be a different ROM in a year's time once A14 rolls around, but Pixel Experience is at least on the later version of Android for now
Not sure I've ever found something 'rock solid', not even OOS 10 for me - so I guess everyone has different thresholds Admittedly though, while Flamingo is probably getting the best development out of the bunch at the moment, it also does mean issues get introduced too

@@FilthyCasualTech alas problems at the 1st hurdle I grabbed all the files, did the prep. Tried to connect the phone via adb to the laptop and it wouldn't show me a connection. I've tried 2 diff laptops, 2 diff cables, reinstalled the adb drivers and updated the env variables path but in cmd when running fast boot devices I don't get anything, no errors nothing. If I try to then run the oem unlock conmand it just says waiting for device 🙄
I guess it depends if you have a Pro model or not. I found the face unlock with the popup too annoying, but imagine it would be decent on the others if it's similar to the Pixel 7

Nightlight is not active on the lock screen because it would prevent the FOD from working, unfortunately this is how it works.

The Pixel 7 does use the night light on the lock screen though - can't recall other ROMs as I don't always use night light.

Unfortunately didn't test stabilisation and don't currently have it installed.
I did find it stable though, with no crashes observed during my time

It depends what you're after in a ROM, features vs privacy
I prefer Pixel Experience over Lineage in general though
