I've had the pleasure of working with Miss Melissa for the last 10 years and an lucky enough to call her my friend as well. She is the person that cheers up the whole staff when they need it, not just the students. The opportunity to speak on behalf of her profession couldn't have come to a more deserving person.
Awesome she seems like she would be a cool teacher or an awesome manager lunch lady or somebody if a kid was having a bad day and she would cheer him up we need more people like this in our schools I grew up with dysfunctional ADHD and they didn't know how to deal with it I was born in 1985 had to go to an alternative school just dropped out and watch my dad die cancer at 18 it was horrific went to prison active addiction sober now multiple years❤❤❤

Tom Segura is probably the biggest 'youtube celebrity' in the comedian field and what's his most interesting stories? UA-cam drama? Oddballs on instagram lol? They're basically normal people who have had a drop of 'fame' and let it go to their heads.
he can still interview celebrities . these interviews are highly entertaining informative and relatable. but the celebrity interviews give us a peek into a world most ppl know nothing about which can be equally educational and entertaining as the more average people interviews

Really, I never talked to or remember any of the lunch ladies or lunch dudes in my elementary, middle school or high school. In university I do because they were fellow young students who would give out free shit. Hell, I even worked at one of the off shoot late night food joints on campus, high as a kite putting frozen pizzas in a conveyor belt oven and taking out burgers and fries from the freezer.

Lunch room ladies are the salt of the earth!! I remember how much we loved our elementary lunch room ladies and my favorite was also my bus driver. It’s so nice to observe a sweet down to earth authentic conversation.

I'm a school custodian, the amount of work and stress these ladies go through is a genuine large thing. I've seen the male subs break down in a shift and leave. These bad bitches hold it down and will accommodate to most if not all kids needs. Good people

My mom grew up in Ohio. Don’t think she even graduated high school. She passed away a few years ago from breast cancer. I’ve never met anyone that was as similar to her as Miss Melissa. She laughed just like her. My mom was crazy and I loved her for it.

Some people love their job but won’t talk about it as much because they think people don’t want to hear it. His disposition makes them open up because they feel heard and proud.

Miss Melissa fed me for about 5 years! She would always let me get an extra milk or juice and even food if there was extra. And yes her laugh was the best. I didn’t realize it then because I was a child but now that I’m in my 30s watching this video I can remember hearing her laugh from the hallway and being happy that she was there serving us breakfast and lunch. This was at Clark elementary school in Cleveland Ohio. Hey miss Melissa! Glad you’re doing well and still looking out for the kids. ❤
This is the kind of person that you work with, and remember her for the rest of your life. I used to work at Home Depot with a woman named Moe, and she had a bombastic laugh like this Melissa. Lunch room ladies are the salt of the earth!! I remember how much we loved our elementary lunch room ladies and my favorite was also my bus driver. It’s so nice to observe a sweet down to earth authentic conversation.
Please keep doing these interviews with working class people like this, Theo. These are the best episodes of the podcast by far. Not only are they just as interesting, if not more, than the guests who are already famous, seeing their overwhelming joy at being given the opportunity to do the show is incredible.

I'm a school custodian, the amount of work and stress these ladies go through is a genuine large thing. I've seen the male subs break down in a shift and leave. These bad bitches hold it down and will accommodate to most if not all kids needs. Good people

My mom grew up in Ohio. Don’t think she even graduated high school. She passed away a few years ago from breast cancer. I’ve never met anyone that was as similar to her as Miss Melissa. She laughed just like her. My mom was crazy and I loved her for it.

Some people love their job but won’t talk about it as much because they think people don’t want to hear it. His disposition makes them open up because they feel heard and proud.

Miss Melissa fed me for about 5 years! She would always let me get an extra milk or juice and even food if there was extra. And yes her laugh was the best. I didn’t realize it then because I was a child but now that I’m in my 30s watching this video I can remember hearing her laugh from the hallway and being happy that she was there serving us breakfast and lunch. This was at Clark elementary school in Cleveland Ohio. Hey miss Melissa! Glad you’re doing well and still looking out for the kids. ❤

My mom cares about her kids like Melissa does. She loves wearing the fun t shirts and wearing hand bands for holidays. Some women are born to be lunch ladies!! A safe person for all children.
