Awesome guide! A bit of advice for anyone who is stuck: I kept getting three 9999 Megido attacks in a row no matter what I did, then I realized having a reflect magic attack on from shuffle time fight. I reset it by just doing another fight.
Hey thanks, I really appreciate it and I’m glad it helped! Smart move hopping into another fight to clear the cup haha. I think there are a few useful ones you can bring in so I think I’ll study up on it a bit!
I sold all my equipment and you can't unequip anything in this game, only swap with sth else. I had armor that had high counter as a passive... so i actually had to look for a special chest in tartarus to get random armor so i can switch with a party member lol. So dumb
Thanks for the guide. Just used this strat to beat this on merciless. Holy shit it took hours to figure out the damage thresholds to make this work along with the luck I required on crits cuz my magic damage output was too low. But that little double endure into god hand reflect trick was killer. It was just tough pushing the damage as close as I could to 7k damage without going over, then landing a 1900 dmg crit into getting megidolaon’d twice, into reflecting the last 1100 damage for a buzzer beater barely kill. Used a megidolaon gem for slightly more clearance. That Armageddon finish was glorious. I couldn’t even use a lot of the personas I made for this fight because I gave em all null physical and Liz’s instakill rule breaker mechanics kept fucking me. Fist time fighting her so that mechanic took me completely off guard. TLDR: thanks man. I appreciate it. It took awhile for me to get the hang of it AND get A Lucky run, but it worked.
one added note, about the third phase. While it is indeed the harder phase in some ways its actually a bit easier. It ONLY SEEMS like she is changing persona randomly in the 3rd phase she is in fact repeating a pattern 1. Surt and Jack frost (if you debilitate her at the end of phase 2 after she uses heat riser she will buff instead of attack). 2 - Thor, Cu chullain (Buff and attack) 3 - Metatron, Alice (Attack)/ Rarely may become Thor and Jackfrost 4 - Nebiros, Thor (Nebiros may use Debilitate) 5 - Jack Frost, Thor 6 - Alice, Surt 7 - Cu chullain, Masakado (Megidolaon) After she runs through these 2 times she will add an 8th turn which will have Alice and Masakado again with a Megidolaon (normal) at the end. She buffs and debuffs constantly in this phase. So you can still do this phase without Telos you just have to keep in mind what she has during the next move and to keep counting the HP amount as before. The ideal strategy to this phase is to punish a specific turn a few times btw the "cycle" limit only counts when she reaches Masakado so dont worry about that at all its very rare to run out of time in this boss im not even sure if you can.
This is really helpful to know! I’m doing a special challenge run trying to beat Liz in a silly sort of way and I had all the math come together well except for being able to beat her within 50 turns. I was like sheesh I’m barely making a dent on her in phase 3, I need to play riskier and ate too much damage and lost my last endure haha
@@Plexicraft Its best to keep the Endure and Enduring soul on a different persona from your attackers or other persona. With the 3rd phase its a slow and steady type of deal especially with her buffing and debuffing, so finding an opening takes time which is why Telos with physical is good for it. Without that you gotta be prepared for what she does, and punish those tiny openings.
@@mastermindmonokuma I just did a challenge where I used Chi You as my only persona and man I wish I could have found a way to skip phase 3 haha. Was a ton of hoping I’d have enough buff and debuff items to make it!
Thanks for showing me how to do this! I’ve been trying to make a comprehensive guide for this fight so every little bit has been coming together than this huge chunk was so cool to find out about. Props!
Great guide. I haven't managed to win just yet, I think my team is sub-optimal. But I wanted to mention something I noticed. At around 8:15 you say that hitting Surt with Skadi would normally lead to a rule break when Jack Frost comes out, but I've noticed consistently that if I hit her previous Persona's weakness, she skips the one she would've used that turn. So if on turn 2 I use Skadi's diamond dust, she'll skip right over Jack Frost and hit me with Thor that same turn instead.
@@PlexicraftI figured it was matching the weakness that did it but you may be right, I had Skadi hitting for like 4500 damage so it could just be due to the big number. Either way it worked and I was able to win in 12 turns, so thanks for the guide!
Men i love you thank you very much. I was trying to beat Elizabeth and i died very single time until i saw your video. Now I beat Elizabeth i can't believe it, days tried to beat her, thank you so much. (English is not my language so if there is a grammatical error i'm sorry)
Yo, used your strategy to finally beat Elizabeth in hard mode. It was a big pain not being able to get firm stance on my Chi You cuz I didn't max out Strength Arcana(which as far as I know, is the only way to get firm stance with no dlc, might be wrong tho) which made harder but got it done nonetheless. Really good guide video man, helped me out a lot. Now I have a maxed out Skadi with 99 Magic stat💀
Congrats! And I’m happy the guide helped! Yeah, that Skadi sounds like a beast. I’m not sure exactly how I got Firm Stance on Chi You but I do have all max social links on this run so could have been through the strength persona. I’ve been busy building Chi You in a specific way and the pieces finally came together so I was able to make one that I used as the sole persona to beat Elizabeth. Was a fun little challenge haha
There’s a link to a merciless win in my description if that helps. It’s the same strat of get as close as possible to 7k, do your best charged/concentrated attack while she has low defense and you have high attack buff, close any more of the 10k gap you think you need with another attack, pass 10k with a persona reflecting her god hand.
I have made different personas with varying resistances, i have homunculus, and i have tried this fight for hours. Messiah, Helial or whatever it's name is. Chi Yuo, and so on. I barely make it to 13k. I don't have the exact set up of moves you do but i figure i could still do it. I feel like just suffering through a second playthrough just to stand a chance.
@@switchaccount2308 once you’re on 13k, you need to be able to buff all (eg: heat riser) and debuff all (eg: debilitate) any time you’re not at least at even with her buffs and debuffs or she’ll tear you apart. (If you’re not able to bridge the gap soon enough to do the reflect trick.) You can get these buffs on personas but it’s safest to use sutra items so I’d attempt to have both: save the items for when switching to a persona might be too risky (due to repel/reflect/null resistances). I’ve done this fight with Chi You as my only persona if it’s any indication of how much you can rely on him for this fight. Hop back into the compendium if need be, and get him looking good and you should be able to complete this without needing to do another playthrough :)
@@Plexicraft Yeah, i think i need to remake my personas in the right way and then grind them to 99. No sutra items or incense boosts for me though. Wasted most of them and I'm on 1/31. But thanks for advice and confidence boost.
Edit: TLDR PSA DO NOT USE THE PHYSICAL REFLECTING ITEM, BRING A PERSONA WITH REFLECT STRIKE AFFINITY I have tried this strat and no matter what after the turn where I tank the first Megidoloan with Enduring Soul, she always immediately uses Diarahan and then Megidoloan again. She doesn't use God Hand at all. She does this regardless if her HP is over 10000, below 10000 or over 11000. I suspect it's because I didn't use a persona with a Reflect affinity, but instead used an item that sets up a physical reflect barrier. But nowhere have I ever heard anyone say using that specific item is breaking one of the rules. Edit: yeah wth I tried using the item on turn 1, immediate Diarahan and Megidolaon 😂
this method doesn't seem to work on hard mode... I'm using a few different Personas that are in the video, but they have the skills that are used presented in the video When i get to the part of reflecting her attack and releasing Amaggerdon on her, she somehow survive with a little HP left and afterwards she heals herself with Pixie and ends the round with a Megidolaon. Im a little frustrated since im trying to defeat her for four days, and i really dont want to change the dificult mode because this become a little personal.
Well, this is for hard/merciless honestly. You need to keep in mind that you'll have to put up with some RNG along with the fact that you need to create builds for your persona. It'll take awhile but you're probably gonna have to create some personas and grind off of fighting Reapers in order to prepare for this fight.
@@angrydiddykong262 I didn't quite understand what you meant...but I'm playing on hard mode. Although I'm not using the exact personas from the video, the ones I use have the skills that are used in the video because of the cards I have equipped. My only problem is when it gets to the part of using Amagerdon on Elizabeth because it doesn't hitkill her... somehow she ends up with a little bit of HP and then when it's her turn she defeats me.
You need to make sure her reflected god hand is what puts her over 10k total damage so your 9999 Armageddon can kill her. This means getting as close to 7k as possible, then doing your biggest charged/concentrated attack when you have buffed attack and she has debuffed defense.
What did you do to make your Trickster Theurgy reach around 2.500+ dmg? I'm already at lv.99, I used Telos and he's around 95+, but I can only deal around 1.700 at best.
My Helel has almighty Amp so when I concentrate, debilitate, and heat riser/start with my auto buffs (and she doesn’t buff her defense or nerf my attack) it slams pretty hard.
@@RareT888 I believe you’d need to try to fuse Helel multiple times in hoping one of its skills will turn into the Amp. I think my Boost changed into Amp and I just stuck with it. It’s definitely not required to do the skip, you just need a way to get from 7k to 9k ish for phase 2.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but my trickster only does about 1100 completly souped up. (Atk up, her def down, and a concentrate) While I see yours does 2700. I could 100% be missing something, but would love some help
@@Vidzaes You hit the nail on the head. I’m on Normal. Merciless is much harder and will rely more on your use of a nuker like Skadi to get those bigger numbers. But on the other hand (lol), Elizabeth’s God Hand in phase 2 can do about 500 more damage to herself on Merciless so when you reflect, you won’t need to bridge as much of the gap beforehand.
Sorry, how exactly does the phase 3 skip work? I'm coming from reddit (thanks for the post, by the way, really helpful) so I'm not 100% on how to do it. Is it simply that you Armageddon her right before you trigger phase 3?
Hey happy to help! Phase 1 is you get her from 20k hp to 13k hp. Phase 2 is when you need to get her from 13k hp to 10k hp. Phase 3 has her notice you have taken half her health and she will respond by healing to full. You then need to damage her to below 10k hp again and immediately Armageddon. But, if you get her to reflect the last portion of damage that will get her from phase 2 to phase 3 (eg: she has 10,499 HP and you reflect her gods hand and it does 500 or more damage) she will trigger her “you broke a rule” coding and Megiddo you instead of healing. In that case you can then just immediately Armageddon her and skip phase 3. Let me know if I can get into any better detail :) Edit: you do need to tank two 9999 pixie megidolaons at the end of phase 1 and phase 2 so the best way to do this is with enduring soul for the first and ensure for the second.
Resist is fine. If she gets repelled, absorbed or has any damaged blocked by a persona, you will have trigger a rule break. If you use any item in the battle that would cause those things to happen, you’ll trigger a rule break even before it happens. (If you use attack mirror to try to reflect she will spot it, not attack and just heal/ megido you which is why you need a persona with strike repel to do the skip).
I've been trying to do this on hard and I either can't bridge the threshold after doing 7,000 damage or I can't get my theurgy gauge back up in time for the final hit.
Try to save your theurgy to bridge the gap. Save Fuukas theurgy for the bridge as well. Use a concentrated/charged attack on her when she’s close to 7k and has defense down with your offense up. If she buffs or debuffs you damage wise, reset her cycle and just heal/guard until she has defense down and your attack is up. Other than that, make sure you have a great single target set up like: diamond dust, ice boost, ice amp, and single target boost.
@@Plexicraft I do have helel with morning star and a single target boost skill card I could use. If I give that skill to helel,in theory morning star should do more damage right?
@@NinjaGirlSakura1 you’ll want to use multitarget boost for morning star, I believe it’s a multi target attack. The boost goes towards the type of skill rather than the amount of people it actually hits. Having almighty boost and almighty amp will help.
@@Plexicraft I did get Skadi with everything but ice boost. I don't have a skill card for that, and I'm not sure which persona I could fuse Skadi with so that skill carries over
@@NinjaGirlSakura1 I’d look to farm the skill card for it, it might be easier. It should be on a red sword card (one with 5 swords on it) which I think would mean somewhere in the early 100s in terms of floor level.
Awseome guide. I just have a problem if i skip phase three. While i do keep my endure and enduring soul i cannot really tell persona shee will switch to. I would be very thankful if you made a video on how to do phase 3 😊
@@ahmedelsayed5779 I appreciate the kind words! There’s a link in the video description to a reddit post I made detailing how to do phase 3. It’s a bit complex and sort of like a list worth having on hand so I don’t think it’d be useful in video form. If you give that a look over and are still struggling, just respond to this comment and I’ll see what I can do to bounce some ideas and walk you through it :)
dude i have no idea why but elizbeth gets into the 2nd phase when i do around 7500K damage and im not sure why, i calculate my damage to the number but its always around 7000-8500 then she starts her 2nd phase. I honestly have no idea what im doing wrong
Hmm are you sure you’re not maybe getting to 6850 or something then hitting a juicy 1k+ attack? What difficulty are you on if you don’t mind me asking? I don’t know it it makes a difference but I did my run on normal.
@@Gooblinnnn I see, the main idea is making sure her Gods Hand is able to reflect the damage that gets you from phase 2 (7k damage or more but under 10k) to 10k. If you atrophy sutra or defense down Elizabeth on the turn she’ll use gods hand and also have a reflect strike persona out, that hit should go for about 800-1k damage on merciless difficulty. This means you just need to get to phase 2, do about 2200k is damage after the 7k and then set up the reflect. I used Skadi here and bridged my 5k ish damage to 9k ish, then reflected the damage that would bring her to 10k total. Another way is to go from something like 6,999 damage or as close to it but not over it as possible, get a nice chunky 1 or 2k hit in to start phase two, chip damage the remainder in while still remaining under 10k but still be ready on her Gods hand turn to have your strike reflect persona out (reflect item will not work, has to be a persona or she’ll heal first instead).
Unfortunately, maxing the Star social link is required to get access to the Fusion Spell Armageddon. So while the blade isn’t necessary, having Helel to make the fusion spell the bigger loss here. I’ve seen people beat her without Armageddon but they do have the Lucifer blade when doing so. Not sure how much of a difference it makes but could be worth trying to emulate a non Armageddon fight where you don’t necessarily rush the 2nd phase like you do here, you rush the “4th phase” that I essentially skip with Armageddon. Edit: I’m dumb and can’t reading comprehend. You should be fine without the blade :)
@@Plexicraft thanks! I was stressing so hard to get Armageddon because I only had a file saved back to the 15th and I had just enough time to max him out but was a little saddened when I couldn’t get the blade lol. I may need to level my personas some more because my trickster does nowhere near that amount of damage on her right now.
@@koopakoop1264 hahaha what a buzzer beater! Using Armageddon to farm the reaper and using Elizabeth to heal on the last day should get your chosen team nice and high level. You got this!
@@Plexicraft hey me again lol, I’m a little confused as to how your skadi did over 4,000 damage. My stats are very similar and I have all the same skills on her plus I used diamond dust during the surt turn with her defense down,y attack up and concentrate but I only did just under 2,000 so she had like 31 hp after my Armageddon
@@koopakoop1264 Ahhh that’s brutal. Sorry to hear it. To answer your question, a few things might be going on: I’m playing on normal difficulty which means any damage done in hard or merciless will be lower (outside of the god hand she’ll do to herself, that will actually be higher funnily enough). Also, I only use Skaadi when I know she has debuffed defense and I have buffed attack and I have concentrate. If any of those 3 things haven’t lined up, I reset the round and let her go through her cycle to ensure I can do as much damage as possible to bridge the gap. My Skaadi also has pretty much every damage passive possible (amp, boost, single target boost) which will add up. Not sure what other factors I may be missing but those should be the significant ones.
Ok I’ve clearly missed something since I’ve never fought Elizabeth before how does this happen? An won’t homunculus stop the 9999 damage or is that only specifically for ohko moves
She’s quite a prescriptive boss fight, I have a guide I linked in the video description that explains her rules and how to get around them. In short, homunculi will only stop instant kill attacks not attacks that do actual damage.
It won’t, the logic is kind of like “that’s 100% a rule break and she’ll full heal before the megido punish once you use it. But having a Persona out that can reflect a type of attack may not rule break since most of the time you’re not 100% sure which type of attack she’ll use… which has her not spend that turn punishing but instead doing a regular turn which gives you just enough time to Armageddon before she can full heal.”
@@Plexicraft ah I see. I can now get to phase 3 fairly consistently so if I die in phase 3 again I may just go find a persona with reflect strike and do this.
I tried using a satan with black viper instead of a helel to do damage, but even with st boost + all mighty boost + all mighty amp he only manages to do around 1k damage per charged black viper

Happy to help! I use this guide to help me farm cards: aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p3r/skills I think you need a red sword card with 5 swords on it. That should have a chance to give you ice boost. Not quite sure but it can likely be found around the 100 level of Tartarus. If you’re getting lower or higher cards just grab a teleporter and adjust your search accordingly :)
Fuse Shiva, Koumokuten, or Anat to get it early. Messiah and Thanatos also get it once leveled up a bit more and maybe a couple of others do as well, I don't recall.
Asura (91), Atavaka (79), Castor (70) all get Firm Stance. You don’t need it but it makes the fight a lot easier. Ali Dance can work as well. You can make a Saki Mitama and level it to maybe tank a bunch of stuff since it starts with 4 resists and no rule breaks. Skadi build correctly does work on this fight with ice focused passives. Thanatos can do really well on most turns too.
No but you are breaking some sort of rule she has and if it’s turn one it’s most likely that you have a “reflect first one skill next battle” blue cup card activated. Just try to do one battle before this then try her again to see if that’s the issue.
Phew man, this is a boss battle that reminded back of the PS2 days a good bit. (First time Persona player here) I used this video to come up with a strat of my own. Pulled it off with a bit less finesse than this. (Used Loki DLC, Helel, Skadi, Kohryu, Melch, Chi You, Metatron, Cendrillion, and Messiah) For some reason, Skadi at Lvl. 99 wasn't enough to bridge the gap? (Was just under it from your video) So instead of healing towards the end, I did basic sword attacks for 1 turn and then used God's Hand from Melch to turn it over in my favor. It was just enough for Armageddon to kill her.
@@Abobus-llllllllll you can use as many as you can hold but you don’t want them out when Elizabeth is able to use an attack that will break one of her rules. It is also possible to beat her using only one persona (like in the other video I linked)

Sid’s jacket comes with endure which can only be work if you’re also wearing shoes of bane (blocks Alice’s die for me spell and otherwise the endure will be used before homuculi which means you won’t have it when you need it). You can also get it from red sword cards that have 9 swords on them. Repel strike can be gotten from red sword cards that have “12” swords on them. I believe you can get to “twelve sword cards” by doing an arcana burst and farming the highest level cards in Tartarus. More info here: aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p3r/skills

Congrats!
one added note, about the third phase. While it is indeed the harder phase in some ways
its actually a bit easier.
It ONLY SEEMS like she is changing persona randomly in the 3rd phase she is in fact repeating a pattern
1. Surt and Jack frost (if you debilitate her at the end of phase 2 after she uses heat riser she will buff instead of attack).
2 - Thor, Cu chullain (Buff and attack)
3 - Metatron, Alice (Attack)/ Rarely may become Thor and Jackfrost
4 - Nebiros, Thor (Nebiros may use Debilitate)
5 - Jack Frost, Thor
6 - Alice, Surt
7 - Cu chullain, Masakado (Megidolaon)
After she runs through these 2 times she will add an 8th turn which will have Alice and Masakado again with a Megidolaon (normal) at the end.
She buffs and debuffs constantly in this phase.
So you can still do this phase without Telos you just have to keep in mind what she has during the next move and to keep counting the HP amount as before.
The ideal strategy to this phase is to punish a specific turn a few times
btw the "cycle" limit only counts when she reaches Masakado so dont worry about that at all its very rare to run out of time in this boss im not even sure if you can.

@@Plexicraft Its best to keep the Endure and Enduring soul on a different persona from your attackers or other persona.

Thanks for making this video. You explained the mechanism of this fight far better than I did in my video
Good point, I’m not quite sure how the mechanics work but I believe if you do enough damage, she will skip a persona rotation.
@@PlexicraftI figured it was matching the weakness that did it but you may be right, I had Skadi hitting for like 4500 damage so it could just be due to the big number. Either way it worked and I was able to win in 12 turns, so thanks for the guide!

Thank you for making this video, it really helped a lot finally got it after 5 days trying 🤭
Hey congrats, happy to help :D
Just about to finish my first play through. I’m leaving reaper for ng and this fight for maybe the run after.

I'm glad I had this idea. Thank you for the reference ❤

(If you’re not able to bridge the gap soon enough to do the reflect trick.)
You can get these buffs on personas but it’s safest to use sutra items so I’d attempt to have both: save the items for when switching to a persona might be too risky (due to repel/reflect/null resistances).
@@switchaccount2308 You’ve got this, and no worries! If the strat doesn’t work, just let me know and we can bounce some ideas :)
Edit: TLDR PSA DO NOT USE THE PHYSICAL REFLECTING ITEM, BRING A PERSONA WITH REFLECT STRIKE AFFINITY
I have tried this strat and no matter what after the turn where I tank the first Megidoloan with Enduring Soul, she always immediately uses Diarahan and then Megidoloan again.
Yeah, has to be a reflect persona rather than the item. Likely because of the plausible deniability ;)
this method doesn't seem to work on hard mode...
My skadi missed... SHE MISSED!!!!
Noooooo!
Gotta make sure your accuracy is up or her evasion isn’t up before you go for the big hit.

Can you use Satanael against her? Mine is lvl99 with max stats
@@DireWolf1412 You can but you don’t want to it out during the turns when she uses dark or light attacks is all.
Let me know if I can get into any better detail :)
Edit: you do need to tank two 9999 pixie megidolaons at the end of phase 1 and phase 2 so the best way to do this is with enduring soul for the first and ensure for the second.
But i thought if you resist any element she just insta kills you
Resist is fine.
I think it's only if you reflect them.

What difficulty are you on if you don’t mind me asking? I don’t know it it makes a difference but I did my run on normal.
@@Plexicraft I’m on hard mode and maybe that could be a problem, I always do a 1k+ damage skill around there maybe I jump TOO fast
Is Lucifer’s blade required for this to work? I unfortunately got maxed out Mamoru on January 31st and didn’t have any time to get it out if him.

To answer your question, a few things might be going on:
I’m playing on normal difficulty which means any damage done in hard or merciless will be lower (outside of the god hand she’ll do to herself, that will actually be higher funnily enough).
An won’t homunculus stop the 9999 damage or is that only specifically for ohko moves
homunculus prevent instant death from mudo and hama skills, not raw damage.
She’s quite a prescriptive boss fight, I have a guide I linked in the video description that explains her rules and how to get around them. In short, homunculi will only stop instant kill attacks not attacks that do actual damage.
would an attack reflecting item work?
It won’t, the logic is kind of like “that’s 100% a rule break and she’ll full heal before the megido punish once you use it. But having a Persona out that can reflect a type of attack may not rule break since most of the time you’re not 100% sure which type of attack she’ll use… which has her not spend that turn punishing but instead doing a regular turn which gives you just enough time to Armageddon before she can full heal.”
@@Plexicraft ah I see. I can now get to phase 3 fairly consistently so if I die in phase 3 again I may just go find a persona with reflect strike and do this.

Patch what? Skipping the phase?
This is just kinda mechanically how the fight works. You can do something similar in the original but you just had to have a calculator and didn't need to be clever like reflect some damage
