Had the same vehicle for twelve years and about as many miles, one of the best vehicles I've ever owned - the others being Toyotas as well (and a few Hondas, Acuras). Btw, never a leak one in the sunroof - and I did like and use it regularly. As I recall that was the top Limited model in the video (and mine) and not only had the CD player but was a 6-changer (in dash), also used regularly never failed or even hiccup'd in 12 years. Was very sad to see it go but some (finally) significant pending costs led me to believe it was time...I skipped a generation and got another "just like it" (well, larger, fancier etc but same trim and color--slightly lighter than this) -2019, last of the 3rd gen - including still a great NA V6. No regrets, but that first one was special and I admit to getting "something in my eye" seeing it go. If I could have bought another just like it (literally) brand new, I would have, lower-tech at all.
Edit: To Scotty's point, the basics did feel like they could possibly last forever. However, though I feel guilty at what now seem pretty small stuff,... at the time some recurrent niggling interior -- what I would call original vehicle design flaws (Toyota was typically unimpressed by my exhortations regarding such) -- kept on repeatedly rearing their ugly heads, front door panels that would crack in a certain spot (knee rest), so you would cobble it together with some duct tape and paint it over with some gray Krylon until you could find an affordable replacement, which included a few times junkyard units which would also repeat the problem after a short while (2x and a pending third)... And no new such part still available from Toyota or NOS in a warehouse that was not unobtainium $-- then, ultimately, nil availability.. Ditto a failed driver's (and pax side) visor that wouldn't stay up, that had no solution because it couldn't be repaired (an interior clip would break), and buying them out of the junkyard made no sense cuz they would have the same issue "soon," and a new one would develop the same issue within a year (and unobtanium $ when available). Ultimately, in addition to the mentioned major stuff about to befall me, with such niggling bits eating at you, you (feel you) have to say 'enough is enough.' I think those small things had me on edge (more than I otherwise might have been) about the big ticket items,...which included several thousand dollars of mechanical (front suspension and subframe related) and complete repaint (peeling clearcoat) needed.
The belabored point to all this... sometimes you need to move on - however painful the goodbye!

My 1999 Camry LE which was made in Japan has 356,455 miles on it! The sun roof is still perfect Scotty! I doesn't leak and still works perfectly! It gets an average of 32mpg with the venerable 2.2L 4 cylnder 5SFE motor and an automatic transmission. It is a fantastic car and is far better than ANY NEW CAR, TOYOTA INCLUDED!!! My 2000 Camry LE, which is identical with the exception of no sun roof, is a lemon from Hell because it was made in America with inferior parts mostly from Mexico! Guess which one I plan to send to the wrecking yard?!
EVERYONE! Like Scotty says, buy older Toyotas! Don't buy the new ones because they are absolute trash! Although, you could do worse and go broke buying a Ford or a Dodge so, that is something to keep in mind. No! Just get cars made before 2000 and tell Big Brother and the car companies to shove it where the Sun never shines!

Such a tough vehicle never has let me down.
