Not being able to remember the dumping speech but remembering random facts about McDonald's is the most relatable this show has ever been

See she could have dumped him saying
"I'll have a double cheeseburger with bacon please.... Actually I'll leave the bacon...."

To be fair it's really impressive that you can cook a frozen burger in 44 seconds, with the right equipment.

Not when it is 3 microns thick and is mostly water.

@@acptelford1307 if the method works, then it’s gonna also work for even the highest quality “Wagyu, edible gold leaf, and organic unicorn phlegm” burgers you can find, assuming they’re roughly the same size and thickness.

@@handlesarefeckinstupid if McDonalds managed to create a burger with dimensions measured in microns, that could hold together while cooked, that would be an even more impressive feat of culinary engineering!

The most unbelievable thing about this clip is that David knows what a Fillet o'fish is

somehow every british comic mentions fillet o fish when mcdonalds is featured in a joke. This one can't pronounce fillet though xD

Claire is thick, she thought it a lie simply because he couldn't remember exactly what Kate said? Sweet Jesus it was about 30 years ago, how the hell is he supposed to remember that? What is he, rain man? 😂😂

I usually don't mind Clare but she was horrible to this guy. "One wonders why she dumped you"? Come on, he was just sharing something he clearly finds fascinating; don't ever shut down people's interests like that. And the fact that he can remember a cool fact about a job he liked, but not the word-for-word details of a conversation from decades ago that he probably wanted to forget and move on from as soon as possible, has nothing to do with his being a man.

Relax. It was a joke. Which is very much in the remit of this show.

So the "it's just a prank bro" energy? No, I don't accept that. She was rude and incorrect.

@Ricky Anthony Jokes that do nothing more than play on stereotypes aren’t really very funny, at least to me. It’s the most obvious thing to say and we’d just be better off without most stereotypes.
