Plasticman literally went straight to Superman's headquarters, trashtalked all of them, and superman had to talk down the rest of the team from doing something stupid. (honestly superman probably knew he couldn't keep plasticman's son captive for long, but had to maintain appearances)

Plastic Man is actually one of the most powerful heroes in the DC multiverse. And just like any other character like him, he is VERY underrated. Although the reason why Plastic Man is so underrated can be also attributed to the fact he is considered a funny or comedic character; his comic debut was, fittingly enough, in Police Comics #1, the very first superhero comic book in history to incorporate humor to its main plot. So because of this, Plastic Man is usually seen by writers as a joke only to be used for ridiculous or hilarious stories, which is very unfair.
In the main story, batman has no permenant solution for dealing with plastic man should he turn evil. His current solution is "lets just hope he doesnt turn evil"

When he was shattered for 3000 years, the JL simply gathered all of his particles and put them back together. This is where Batman said that, Plastic Man is hiding an insane level of power and generally, he was completely fine, since being crazy got boring after 1000 years. He's incredibly inconsistent overall, sometimes he can tear or be ripped apart, sometimes just hitting him works. Sometimes he can fight fire monsters, sometimes he melts. It was introduced in the Marvel Ultimate universe that Reed Richards become even smarter when he got powers, as his brain became significantly (without limit?) more pliable. Plastic Man would theoretically be the same.
I just wanna know what acid is Gotham making that changes not one, BUT TWO people genetically. Joker vía permanent clown look + insanity and O’Brian becoming Plastic Man. What are they putting in that green juice?!
i feel like a very cool way of explaining his powers would be that he’s just 100% stemcells. so like a tumor he’s insanely resilient and whenever he stretches he physically just grows extra flesh, and can also choose which dna is being expressed for each cell, turning his skin into bones ect… it’s gruesome but really cool i think. would love to see an origin story looking at the body horror side of things like with the hulk
Bruce works in plausible scenarios, this holds him back because I can think of a few ways the neutralize him. Phantom zone Keeping him compressed in artificial gravity. Send him to Venus while he’s frozen. Ray palmer’s belt Using dr alchemy’s equipment to reset his chemical structure back to a normal human being Basilisk eye.
I want to see a fight between Plastic Man and Captain Planet. I don’t think Captain Planet would stand a chance, but I think it would be hilarious for Captain Planet to start preaching about plastic pollution.
Not only would he survive being thrown into the sun but he would become immensely powerful , if each of 5he smallest molecular particle of him is still him he would be broken down to atoms and merge with the sun becoming the sun in the great pressure of it core. This is why the sun wears sunglasses in the Mario games , it's him.
this is the second time i've heard about a neiche character being near omega level, but i still think molecule man is JUST that bit more op. being able to control not molecules, but the ATOMIC STRUCTURE of ANYTHING is pretty broken. the only difference is his mental state is in complete tatters from essentially being able to control the multiverse (even galactus notices him as his second biggest threat behind franklin richards), but a fight between these two would go so hard
Nice video! I also should mention that plastic man was shown in MAD magazine. In this version he is much less gory and more goofy. I do have the comic too!

Speaking of, my favorite versions of plastic man was during the amalgam comics universe where he fused with marvel's sandman & the earth 32 one where he merged with blue beetle
Anyone else remember watching Plas on Saturday mornings in the 70s? Everyone has videos on the old Spider-Man, FF, Thor from the 60s or Superfriends and Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends in the 70s & 80s, X-Men and Batman in the 90s and other superhero toons but nobody seems to remember Plastic Man having his own solo show.
Injustice will forever hold the position of the best Plastic Man moment. When Cyborg tells him the cell door in front of him is impossible to open, he sticks his hand in and unlocks it within seconds, pulls his hand out and sticks up his middle finger in the shape of a key while saying "Look at that! I found the key!"
Your videos are fucking great man. Nice to see someone just honestly share their love for comics. Plas is that fucking guy, they'll never put him in a movie, and if they did they'd fuck it up. That being said I really wish they would have made one with Johnny Knoxville when he was younger.
In the DC super hero game based of Mutants and Masterminds Plastic Man is hands down one of the toughest characters. If I had to play a member of the justice league in that game I would pick him over any other character including Superman.
One of my favorite DC heroes and characters alongside Booster Gold, Constantine, The Question and also loved the series they made that he got a family team The Terrifics.
Plastic Man's always been a favourite hero of mine, but I only realised how strong he was from the Dark Nights: Metal series, where he almost single handedly turns the tide of the final battle against the Dark Multiverse

Plastic man in the physical sense is the strongest, but in the injustice universe he’s the guy who basically is a rebuttle for everything superman does, he’s a reformed criminal. A hero who turned his life around showing everyone that second or third chances should be given to criminals.
The ability to stop time without the effects of you aging while time is stopped and also being able to unfreeze specific items so they can work perfectly normal. This would enable one to do literally whatever they wanted whenever they wanted however they wanted.
The scariest part is that he uses his power to do these things, he can theoretically change his molecular structure to turn his skin into other elements if he chose to, the composition of coal and diamond are just a few molecule setups in difference and if plastic man tied to, I wouldn’t doubt he would be able to do something similar
Apparently in english, plastic is used as a term for not only plastic, but also other, well artificial marterials like Polyethylene (PE) and so on. The actual Plastic is the stuff cheap toys are made out of. not very duable, it cant flex it cant stretch et cetera.

Plastic man is one of those characters that is just fun af to watch, and read about.. you want him to win.. or atleast you want to see him come out on top because it's 100% gonna be great.. he reminds me of deadpool, and Reed Richard's mixed to one character.. eventually I believe they will give him some sort of instant teleportation or somthing 😂 so he can be god level insane.. and I'm sooo down to read it.
I love that his hair pops back into style when he decides to be a hero again
The whole Flashpoint Plastic Man story is so good, glad to see someone finally talk about it!!!
It was introduced in the Marvel Ultimate universe that Reed Richards become even smarter when he got powers, as his brain became significantly (without limit?) more pliable.
Plastic Man would theoretically be the same.
With all the intellect yet he choose to be goofy
@@RiderOfPepperslife's a joke though the depravity and inhumanity and sheer randomness of it all
I’m still waiting death battle…
i 100 percent agree with your take on omnipotence. power scalers really ruin a lot of heroes for me
I just wanna know what acid is Gotham making that changes not one, BUT TWO people genetically. Joker vía permanent clown look + insanity and O’Brian becoming Plastic Man. What are they putting in that green juice?!
The same thing they're putting in the water to turn the freakin' frogs gay.
Why are characters like this always immortal for no reason at all?
Just to screw with you
i feel like a very cool way of explaining his powers would be that he’s just 100% stemcells. so like a tumor he’s insanely resilient and whenever he stretches he physically just grows extra flesh, and can also choose which dna is being expressed for each cell, turning his skin into bones ect… it’s gruesome but really cool i think. would love to see an origin story looking at the body horror side of things like with the hulk
Remember, Batman doesn’t think he can permanently kill plastic man
Didnt he mention a nuke couldn't take him out too?
Bruce works in plausible scenarios, this holds him back because I can think of a few ways the neutralize him.
Phantom zone
Keeping him compressed in artificial gravity.
Send him to Venus while he’s frozen.
Ray palmer’s belt
Using dr alchemy’s equipment to reset his chemical structure back to a normal human being
Basilisk eye.
I want to see a fight between Plastic Man and Captain Planet. I don’t think Captain Planet would stand a chance, but I think it would be hilarious for Captain Planet to start preaching about plastic pollution.
Here comes Micro-plastic Man!
If he was ever a guest character in Mortal Kombat!!! Imagine the creative Fatalities and Brutalities?!?!?
The best superpower is obviously the power to give yourself and other people superpowers.
"And when everyone's super...*laughter*...no one will be."
-Syndrome 2004
What people dont seem to realize is that any power can be world destroying if you truly understand it and the rules of the world.
I honestly love characters with incredible strength but they’re just so goofy that it nullifies their power, like Okuyasu from JoJo’s
dude i’m so happy with the growth of your channel, keep up the great work
Funny just a few hours ago i searched for a good plastic man video and couldnt find one
If Batman Is afraid of Plastic Man who know you’re dealing with a menace 💀
If only Jim Carry was younger. He would be the perfect Plastic Man 😂
Not only would he survive being thrown into the sun but he would become immensely powerful , if each of 5he smallest molecular particle of him is still him he would be broken down to atoms and merge with the sun becoming the sun in the great pressure of it core. This is why the sun wears sunglasses in the Mario games , it's him.
Plastic Man while meeting Big Barda by first time: "Mama warned me about really agressive women like you...I hope you are one of them!" 😎
Plasticman = SCP-4885
I really like the time he sticks his finger in a door then holds it up to the security camera and says that he has the key
this is the second time i've heard about a neiche character being near omega level, but i still think molecule man is JUST that bit more op. being able to control not molecules, but the ATOMIC STRUCTURE of ANYTHING is pretty broken. the only difference is his mental state is in complete tatters from essentially being able to control the multiverse (even galactus notices him as his second biggest threat behind franklin richards), but a fight between these two would go so hard
Two different universes. But yeah, totally OP.
Nice video! I also should mention that plastic man was shown in MAD magazine. In this version he is much less gory and more goofy. I do have the comic too!
Im halfway trough and I have to say this is some great video, i didn’t know much about Plastik man
I find him in some way weard but he really somehow uplifts my mood
How you tell about him on this evening in a work week really makes my day so really thank you for this good video
Didn’t Batman once make a statement to the Justice League that all of them are lucky that Plastic Man uses his powers jokingly because he technically has the power to kill every single one of them if he wanted to?
Speaking of, my favorite versions of plastic man was during the amalgam comics universe where he fused with marvel's sandman & the earth 32 one where he merged with blue beetle
Such a heavy-hitter. Love a video talking about this wacky dork, I love Plas (and Woozy!)
One of the best things about having rubber powers is that you can shout" GOMU GOMU NOOO.." without sounding like an autistic person
Keep up the good work dude, love your vids
Dude was like DC’s Carnage in that one universe
I just love the panel where he flips off a camera i think? but as he does that he turns that finger into a key to unlock a door, that is hilarious
He also is mostly resistant to psionic powers and possibly mind control as a bonus
Shape-shifting in general is the best power because of its potential. Stretching is just one aspect of Shape-shifting.
Then there was that one time Plastic Man turned into a toilet and flushed a dude.
I’m a simple man I see plastic man I click
There's a reason why bats doesn't even have a protocol to handle plas
Even Batman acknowledges how dangerous plastic man is and can be pointing out how lucky they are he’s comic relief and on their side
Da king is back baby he neva miss
Your videos are fucking great man. Nice to see someone just honestly share their love for comics. Plas is that fucking guy, they'll never put him in a movie, and if they did they'd fuck it up. That being said I really wish they would have made one with Johnny Knoxville when he was younger.
In the DC super hero game based of Mutants and Masterminds Plastic Man is hands down one of the toughest characters. If I had to play a member of the justice league in that game I would pick him over any other character including Superman.
Not just stretchy powers, plastic man can literally control his entire being
Hey could you make a video about silver surver? He is extremely underrated and need to be seen.
Let’s go plastic man video thanks!!! 😊
One of my favorite DC heroes and characters alongside Booster Gold, Constantine, The Question and also loved the series they made that he got a family team The Terrifics.
Also forgot to mention his complete immunity to psychic attacks
Plastic Man's always been a favourite hero of mine, but I only realised how strong he was from the Dark Nights: Metal series, where he almost single handedly turns the tide of the final battle against the Dark Multiverse
I’d like to see you do a video on Captain Atom who is stupid powerful but consistently downplayed in shows and movies.
Also if I had to say what I considered one of the "best" powers without going overboard...Oil manipulation.
INCREDIBLY versatile and somewhat original.
Oil manipulation? How's that good?
@@illseeyaonthedarksideofthemoon Petroleum is one of the most used products in the world. It's in cars, plastics, and many other things. Even if you can only manipulate crude oil derivatives like gasoline and liquid diesel you still have highly flammable and versatile liquid to use.
I remember this guy from TheRussianBadger. He tweeted a picture of his Halloween costume and his M hairline really matched Plastic Man's!
Plastic man in the physical sense is the strongest, but in the injustice universe he’s the guy who basically is a rebuttle for everything superman does, he’s a reformed criminal. A hero who turned his life around showing everyone that second or third chances should be given to criminals.
That heart joke made plastic man the best thing to ever happen ever
And the fact that Batman himself says Plastic Man is the most dangerous man.
i always hate when someone compares him to luffy yeah they have stretchy power but his are so much more
Just a friendly goober that's secretly the last defence
The zombie plastic man image is probably the most scary comic image ever drawn.
I wish they write another Terrifics book, such a cool and light hearted team with our man Plast
The ability to stop time without the effects of you aging while time is stopped and also being able to unfreeze specific items so they can work perfectly normal.
This would enable one to do literally whatever they wanted whenever they wanted however they wanted.
I love plastic man. Him and the flash are my fav supers.
I’ve still got speed as the best but you’ve opened my eyes a lot
ben schwarz has been quoted a couple of times to really want to play plastic-man. i personally like that idea! 😊
Him and swamp thing r my 2 favorite dc characters
Basically Luffy but stronger.
Plastic Man is one of the few fictional characters where I'm EXTREMELY glad he's on the good side.
Plastic Man is one of those characters that get overlooked bc they're such goofballs but they 100% could be a menace if they so choose...
"Plastic" originally meant something that was easily shaped. The term "plastic surgery" is actually older than the invention of plastics.
Bro got into an accident and became a god
