The scene where Anne and Sasha first meet Darcy is amazing. Darcy really didn’t have much before this episode but wow she is cool and disturbing. This episode makes me wish that instead of three final episodes that are part of the series finale, they were all just tied together and it was just a movie so I wouldn’t have to wait another week to see what happens next😫

It feels so good that, after how often fans would complain about Anne (and Sasha to a degree) not having more of a reaction toward Marcy and so firmly declaring that "bad writing", in comes this episode to completely shoot that mentality in the head.
Also the finale looks unbelievably badass.

People process events differently. Just because someone doesn't cry when someone close to them dies, doesn't mean they're " a horrible person ", " dont care " or any of that sort of thing
people, especially MIDDLE SCHOOLERS, are gonna process these things under a differen't light, their emotions being seemingly unspeakable. Also people claim bad writing for another reason as if their reactions were 'unrealistic', as if the fact that they weren't already in war wouldn't have effected them at all. Kids shouldn't be weilding swords and plotting the overthrow of a kingdom, but look what Sasha did? Half the time I don't think these people know what they're talking about.. :/
It sucks that the series is ending so soon, it would've been great to have a few more flashback episodes, like maybe one based around Barrel being sent to the countryside, showing him protecting both Frogs and Toads up until his passing
Feels like this show has the potential to show more of Amphibia’s history and past. Spin off series on the Divorce Trio, Potential lore on the Toads and newts, and more.
I feel like we BARELY scratch the surface on Amphibia history.

I had very high expectations for our girls meeting Darcy because I thought they would’ve been absolutely horrified knowing Marcy is being possessed by 10 amphibian beings but they took it better than expected. Honestly I’m on the Marcy defense train too because I’ve had lots of friends that never took an interest to anything I like especially when they would call me weird for watching it. I would watch stuff they liked but they never reciprocated so this episode just really made me relate to Marcy. Also wow I did not even notice grubhog in this episode until now.

When I asked them to watch Steven universe and even told them they didn’t have to watch everything I took out all the useless filler and kept some episodes that keep character development but they were like no thanks.

I still can’t understand Sasha’s choice of words about not being able to forgive Marcy.
This girl has been preaching all season about “second chances” but the moment it isn’t about her she’s like, “second chances who?” And only Anne knocks sense into her
That might be the point. She's still learning and those second chances were toward her via Anne.Because this situation with Marcy was a personal betrayal by someone she views as close, it's harder for her to process. After all, it's easier to cope with other people's problems sometimes than confronting your own

That would be a great way to show how they met. I'm sure a lot of people have been wondering how they met since we know they've known each other longer than Sasha

The whole focus on the trios friendship really hit for me, watching those scenes I knew exactly how marcy felt, and I feel like that just made me feel more connected with her as a character, because I had friends that ignored my interests, and that stuff hurts inside
I also relate a lot to Marcy, and let me just say, the conflict between Sasha and Anne was great- Sasha hasn’t spent much time with Marcy in Amphibia (we haven’t seen them interact as much overall), and she sees that what Marcy did was absolutely wrong, but Anne (with the power of the Heart gem, fittingly) is more compassionate, and feels guilt for taking Marcy for granted and not caring about the interests she tried to share with her friends. This episode does such a good job remembering not only the faults in the Calamity Trio’s friendship, but in Anne’s relationship with Hop Pop, probably proving to some people that it was more than just filler. In high school I was part of a “trio” of friends that was actually reminiscent of the Calamity Trio now that I think about it, and I was rather like Marcy. I can absolutely relate to feeling like they don’t care about me or my needs but wanting so badly to stay friends with them and not have to be alone. That shot of her sitting at the TV with Sasha and Anne asleep hit me hard, dammit! While Marcy is a deeply flawed character, I can’t help but latch onto her and wonder if I also would’ve trapped me and my friends in another world so that I wouldn’t have to leave them. It wasn’t just about what she did, but why she did it.
I fell afful because i am thinking if i wouldn't trap my frienda in amphibia even if j wouldn't be moving. I know i would transport myself.

Really didn’t feel Sasha had a place to be conflicted about forgiving Marcy when she herself got forgiven after betraying Anne two times in a row .
Thats a fair point, but what Marcy did was still extreme and Sasha did have a right to feel a little upset. Like , Marcy got them trapped in another dimension and as revealed in True Colors , Marcy wanted them to go on those dimensional adventures forever, keeping them trapped in other worlds FOREVER , Sasha has all right to be upset about that.

@@BugsyFoga while that may be true...emphasis on should. From what ive seen those who need to be forgiven most often, sometimes have a hard time forgiving others because of their "im right" mindset
The only inconsistency revealed from the flashback to Marcy's sleepover is that it shows that Sasha isn't actually the sleepover queen and has repeated violated her own rule of never falling asleep during a sleepover. If neither Anne or Sasha were aware of that mistake this whole time it implies that it's because Marcy had silently covered that up every time in order to preserve the peace of their friendship at her own expense, which again adds to the secret heartache that Marcy has been burdening about the "true colors" of their relationship because while it's far from ideal at least it's better than the alternative of being truly alone, which was about to happen with her family moving away and why she was willing to make any sacrifice in order to preserve what little source of happiness and belonging she had. It's deceptively very deep and something even I can relate to in regards to my old childhood friendships so I hope these last few episodes really focus on that harsh reality.
My favorite part from The Three Armies was when Anne went calamity mode and basically told them that they were being childish. And my favorite part from The Beginning of the End was when Anne and Sasha met Darcy.
I just hope there's a light at the end of the tunnel to this show.
OMG Anne went full on avatar state and it gave me chills, then she broke down in tears and i couldn't help but laugh my ass off at the juxtaposition 🤣🤣🤣
Darcy is so cool, literally all I could want out of a villain. They're smart, cunning, very fun and can taunt the main characters with their past mistakes.
Hard to believe Amphibia is so close to it's end I'm really going to miss Amphibia it was truly one of the Best Disney Cartoons along with The Owl House and Big City Greens I'd LOVED Amphibia
Honestly one of the things I’m taking the most from the episode was the Sashanne Vs Yunalivia (mind controlled)

11:11 Honestly I can relate, and a lot can. I don’t think friends have to watch every episode or play games of stuff I like, but even if they aren’t interested, should feel glad that I do share what I like to them, and what I can show can potentially be a part of myself. Dismissing that feels this sense of betrayal, pushing you away from them subconsciously.
Which was how Marcy felt with Anne and Sasha, and she wanted to keep them close.
I think I can speak for everyone in the Amphibia fandom when I say I’m not ready for Amphibia to end.

You know, while I was watching the episode, there was a thunderstorm outside. And during this scene *exactly,* there was a clap of thunder. Which oddly enough, fit really well considering a huge portal opened up to another world. So I found that pretty cool and funny

I genuinely believe Disney would have the Guts to let the Calamity girls to lose their body parts. Like Della Duck ( Ducktales ) , Alice Green ( Big City Greens), both of them lost their leg. There is a good chance the girls might get amputated.

We can definitely shift the blame of the 900 years conflict between frogs,toads and newts on King Andrais after all he basically created the hierarchy to intentionally suppress the frogs as payback for Leif betraying,he made it the toads job to make sure they stayed at bottom and Newts were top because he believe they're the superior and pretty much created the Music box and Amphibia's Golden Age!Also shown throughout the series in multiple episodes and especially fighting alongside the robots against his own subjects,pretty much shows that he never cared about them and is beyond redemption at this point of the series

OMG!!! i loved the flashback with Anne, Sasha, And Marcy with their sleepover, it's amazing.
I thought the Warlock movie was a She-Ra reference as someone who wasn’t watched Lord of the Rings.

That flashback hit HARD for me, my friends had told they were all watch Centaurworld, a show that means a lot to me, and eventually I asked one of my friends what the rest of them were doing since I wasn’t with all of them and all of them were on their phones and I just felt so crushed because I love Centaurworld so much.

I love these episodes and seeing darcy with the looks on anne and sasha really broke my heart and I hope anne with sasha will freed marcy and I'm excited and sad that amphibia is ending with "all in" and "the hardest thing" and I'll always think of the memories of a great series that matt brings to our lives!

@@phoenixado9708 I remember having a dream where I was Anne, and we in Los Angeles. Mrs. Boonchuy was trying to hide Anne (me) from Darcy because she was on a hunt for me and was going to kill me. But she found me hiding under the table and started chasing me through the snowy streets with a kitchen knife. When she finally got to me I woke up. Guess I'm not the only one who's had dreams about Amphibia lol
It's a case where Marcy was their friend, but they weren't really hers. Also, despite the fact that Marcy brought them to that world, she didn't really think it would work. Even if she told them about it's supposed magic, they probably would have called her a weirdo and opened it as a joke. Them ending up there was a foregone conclusion, really. When I first watched the show, I thought Marcy was going to be more villainous, based on her facial expression when she watched Anne steal the Calamity Box. I thought she would be the more corrupting of the two between her and Sasha.

I don't think Grime's former army including Bog,Fens, and Mire from Toad Tax and Toad to Redemption are going to appear in the final two episodes, if they do appear they would probably br mind controlled by Andrias's mushrooms or willingly working for him in the invasion.
Bog, fens and mire they apperad with tritonio when they fall from giant millipede. So they fight on resistance side.

These episodes were great and personally enjoyed the scene when the frogs,toads and newts actually put their differences aside and work together for the greater good,paving the way for a brighter future together!Also loved the confrontation between Sasha and Anne and the Core!
Good episode breakdown as usual. This is another fan theory confirmed, and bittersweet gut punch by Matt and the writing team for how the story is unfolding. The stakes and tension are ramping up, and the grand finale is sure to make us all need a month long vacation to recover.

I have a couple theories myself for Amphibia.
Theory #1: I think Anne and Sasha will eventually forgive Marcy after they get the Core and Darcy out of her since she trapped the three of them in Amphibia within hearing her dad getting a new job offer into moving a new place.
Theory #2: I saw a thumbnail to a UA-cam video about King Andrias being redeemed, I believe he will be redeemed after thinking about the stuff he had did, but we won't know for sure until the new episode of Amphibia comes out on Saturday.
They will never 👎 forgive Marcy after she has Marcy will run away crying

I fair point which I don’t see pointed out is that, like, Marcy couldn’t have actually known the box worked. She might have believed it, but in some level you have to drain some guilt based on how impossible it should have actually seemed to her.
I can heavily relate to Marcy when it came to your friends not entertaining your interests-
Before I started talking to people online I have made plenty of friends in my school but no one was really into my interests. I actually had a group of friends that is a bit like the calamity trio but instead of 3 people in the group it’s 4. I was basically the Marcy of the group, the one who is passionate about the things they like but is always turned down.

My main theory for The Hardest Thing is that after both Andrias and the Core are beaten, March herself will be the final boss as Anne and Sasha try to make her stay on Earth

IN the latest promo the Disney XD channel posted, it shows Darcy about to take a big swing at Sasha. Then it cuts to a clip of Grime charging to one of the cores tentacles. AFTER THAT it cuts to a clip of Sasha looking absolutely devastated presumably in the same room as the last clip of her. My theory is that Grime will take a bullet for Sasha before Darcy can take her out

But the Anne losing her arm theory I kinda still wanna see? Marcy has “lost” her heart (been replaced with the Core - I really don’t know), yet her powers haven’t been released yet as she’s still trapped(?). Anne is captured and has trouble with her arms when using her powers plus incidents in the past of almost losing them, so she may lose an arm/have her arm tampered with - right arm (though that may be too violent for Disney, but who knows). Now with Sasha, her Calamity powers hasn’t been released yet and she’s captured as well and will possibly have a spore collar in “All In” (my bet is, her powers will be released under the pressure of fighting Darcy), but what will she lose? I’m pretty sure she’ll lose her “brain” or “eye” - right (bare with me lol) as a sign of ignorance or something (flashbacks and previous scenes, plus the uniform with an eye, but idk), but each girl will lose something and I wonder if the theory will go through in 90 minutes!🤔
