i remember getting my first blood draw, at first i was hyperventilating and shaking. When i saw the needle i almost fainted! But when they put the needle in i couldnt feel a thing! For their age they did a incredible job! props to them!

I got my first blood draw when I went to get my ear surgery it didn't hurt at all I took deep breaths and everything and I'm about to get one tomorrow and I will always take deep breaths and I'll be fine

@@FamilyFunLife done just got my blood draw it wasn't that bad and I feel all better:) but I know your kids are now growing up and now know that getting their flu shot or blood draw is no longer bad.
@@FamilyFunLife I'm 17 and I'm no longer scared of it and when I was little I cried and scream and my second one when I got my ear surgery i started becoming strong and no longer scared and now I'm a grown teen and no longer scared
The guy who drew the blood was as amazing as my old doctor. My old doctor was the BEST DOCTOR ANYONE COULD ASK FOR. He retired a few months ago, but he would literally do silly dances to distract me from the needle. Also, very brave kids I tell you. Very brave! I was a lot more scared getting blood drawn than them!
Edit: I almost forgot to mention that he would always call the one who got the needle the rotten egg (I have an older sister)
Edit 2: From when I’m writing this edit, I just found out that he died this morning 😥RIP Dr. Cablo, you will be missed (that was his name)

I remember when I first had my blood drawn I cried when I before I even got in the place, I also have had my blood drawn 16 different times, and spent a week in the hospital in Charlotte at Levine Children's Hospital and had an mri and endoscopy to place a stent and had an IV from January 27 through February 3rd and now I am going to a doctor to help me I still have to get my blood drawn. I hope they do great and do not have to go through what I had to go through. Thank You 🙏🙏🙏🤲🤲🤲 When I got my blood drawn last my Baby Sister was with me and I screamed.

I stopped crying and screaming at that stuff when I was 12.
When I got my Blood drawn it hurt a little but I didn’t cry I just felt the pain a little bit was painful so I know what he’s going through❤

i got my blood drawn today and the tip is to not look at the shot the more you look at it the more you think in your brain says no i dont want to do it and you get more scared and the more you arrive to the lab dont be nerrvis be brave

Here are some tips on staying calm during the blood draw: 1. Dont move when the needles go in this causes it to make ur muscles move and it will hit ur mucoes

I feel bad for kids that is scared of getting their blood drawn or getting shots... because we know that it's the needle that scares them and I used to be like them!!! I hated getting my blood drawn or getting a shot, but in November of 2013 that all had to change and that's when I found out that I had diabetes!!! So I get it and I feel like I want to help the ones that needs it the most by comforting when they get it!!! I love it when they can be Big Boys and Big Girls by just taking it... even if they cry a little bit, just getting it done and not fighting is what satisfies me that they are true warriors!!!

It was easy but the guy taking the blood couldn’t find the vein, he had to put the needle back in 10 FRICKING TIMES

It is painful and its ok if he is crying because it is pairful but for little kids thats normal,i got a blood draw and it is painful.

My doctor was amazing as I can faint if I see a neadle so she had put numming cream on me and distracted me and it worked i didn't notice it

Wow, they did so good! Poor kiddos, getting blood drawing really sucks! I’ve gotten my blood drawing a few times but they couldn’t find the veins so I got poked around 10 times! That doctor was really good at it he got it first try! Again good job kiddos
