I’m a phlebotomist of 17 yrs and I think it’s very rude to record a phlebotomist drawing a child’s blood. The only thing you are doing is creating anxiety for the child and the lab technician. And that’s probably why the phlebotomist was missing the vein because you guys were recording. Please show respect to the medical staff.
So sorry you feel this way. Our children enjoy watching their experience after the fact, and learn how to "do better" next time. You are entitled to your opinion, but I respectfully disagree. The Phlebotomist did NOT "miss the vein". It was text book good Phlebotomy. Maybe watch again? We LOVE our caregivers and respect them immensely. Our family has supported our sweet sweet Zuri throughout her extremely difficult "trials" with her health issues all her life....and we will (of course) continue to do so.

On a scale of 1-10 how much did that hurt.
Plus: the worst part about getting a blood draw, shot, finger poke, etc. is the anticipation that it’s coming. This means it’s worse before than when it actually happens

I also have the same experience when taking my blood draw. They also had trouble finding the vein and had to do it again beacuse not much blood flowed out. YOU CAN DO IT ZURI❤❤❤

In fact, 1 week ago. My dad took me to the lab to get blood work. When he said “Joey we’re going to get blood work done”, a chill ran up my spine. Here’s another story: when I was in 4th grade, a girl from another class said that her brother loved getting the blood drawn. He liked watching the blood go through the tubes. True story and I almost threw up when she said that.

I feel so bad for zuri she’s such a brave little girl getting her blood drawn last year they couldn’t find my vain in my arm because I didn’t drink a lot of water I always drank soda and they put the vain in my hand and it stung pretty bad and I dealt with it for a few mins before they were done
They asked Zuri if she had drunk enough water too!!!! That's why it was hard??!!! Thanks!!👍👍
@@FamilyFunLife did Zuri drink enough water before she got her blood drawn or not because I had that last year and had to get it done in my hand which hurt and probably when they put that rubber band around your arm really tight

And her dad 👨 took her to the restaurant to eat because she is very hungry 😋. Before the restaurant, Zuri felt scared 😟 when they put the needle 💉 on her elbow.

How many times does zuri get a blood draw
For me the easiest way to take the pain is:
Step one: tense your body and get your body ready for the pain (not to the point we’re u get a anxiety attack)
Step two: countdown from 1 to 3 this can get your body ready for the pain
Step three: hold your breath when the countdown ends, this will reduce pain
I hope this helps your children get their blood test
