- Making your own butter is easy. All you need is one ingredient, that's heavy whipping cream. Homemade butter is much better tasting as compared to store bought butter because it is made with fresh cream!

I've been doing this for years, but it's still worth a like when it comes up since the butter is so tasty. It's short notice for Thanksgiving, but "Hey folks, I made some butter" is really impressive for an event meal.
And remember this is unsalted butter, so either mix some in or have salt at the table.
😮😮😮 Thank you. I'm spending a ton on butter. I had no idea it was this easy.
Unless you're getting cream cheap this is pricier than store butter. One quart of heavy cream will give you about a pound of butter (1L to 400-500 grams for my metric friends), so use that info when you're pricing them out.
Right !!
I’ve never seen it done this way. I always used only heavy cream in a stand mixer. I’m interested to try this way. Thanks!
$8.00🇨🇦 for 1 litre of whipping cream here. It tastes better for sure but it's not budget friendly. 1 litre of cream gets me about 350g or approx 3 sticks of butter. I was a custom cake maker before retiring.
Do you also use water?
Hi Jag I would really have to make my own butter because buying butter it’s too expensive take care bye.
Using cream of grass fed cows 🐄 it’s also healthy Not fattening 🙏🏾💜. I’m 73 my mum made it lot’s 🎄
Wow! I am going to try this. Thanks!
Oh wow!!! Thank you so much for this recipe!!😃❤
Ive made butter in a stand mixer before and it takes quite a while. This actually looks easier. Thanks!
Love it. Thanks❤
Followed along your instructions and made my own butter this morning. Tastes excellent and will add some herbs and salt next time just to experiment. Watched your video on the color of butter, and now I know. Thank you and keep up the informative videos.
Glad the video was helpful! :)
Happy Thanksgiving , Jag. I enjoy your channel. Ty

Amazing! How much salt would you add to that for salted butter?
Very Nice 🎉😊
A fun activity with a circle of children: put whipping cream in a jar with a tight lid. Have children shake and pass the jar . While passing and shaking, a ditty to say : "So and so ( child's name ) is standing at the gate, waiting for a butter cake, come butter come, come butter come." Child then passes to next child who shakes the jar while they chant his or her name.
How much butter does that carton of cream make?
About 2 cups
Can you drink the butter milk? Is it the same as the butter milk you can get in the grocery store?
You can or put it in pancakes
FIRST UGO!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you add salt while you’re making it or after?
I do not, however you can if you would like, you can even add garlic and herbs.
I've always wanted to make delicious scrumptious B U T T E R
Doesn’t the butter have to be washed?
Not required
I would never make it past whipped cream!

There's no such thing as too much butter
Low calories too… lol
Calorie counting has been irrelevant for a long time. Look into the ketogenic diet if you have health concerns.
