Love the scientific approach. Best I’ve seen👊 btw I got some Mofo Rc monster truck wheel set for my fcx24 after I saw the video of the power wagon. Looks awesome as is but I’ve ordered the rcawd extended thingy. I’ve decided I’ll trim most of the fenders but leave enough so the body can still clip on. I had the smasher but my nephew took it, after he saw it . I was in the middle of making a cool video 😢 Great channel, man! Cool vids.
I put those RGT tires on mine now too and absolutely love them, they are perfect for it, what a huge difference over the stock tires, sure am glad I came across you video! Thanks.
I was wondering which one to buy. If you enjoy rc purely, go for scx24, and if you want to enjoy realistic rendering, go for kyosho. I am going to use it as an example.
I'm building a mofo monster truck chasis build now and using the longer hot racing shocks. I went with 2 per wheel. Then I'm buying multiple body's to change out from cc&rc. He has most models of Mt trucks
Just curious, did you put the same modifications on the 4x4? :) Great comparison but it's a disservice to the Mini-z considering you've upgraded the heck out of the axial. While it's not performance, you've replaced a ton on it.
Great vid... Thanks! The Kyosho has a smaller body than the Axial and supposedly, they are both 1/24 scale. I am thinking that the Kyosho is either 1/25 or even 1/26 scale, but NOT 1/24 scale.
The mini z's are magnificent machines but everything that you do needs to be scaled down a little bit for them they are quite a bit smaller they're definitely not in the same category when it comes to size but Kyosho is far superior in quality and parts, everything
Only thing better about kyosho is the body otherwise it worse in every other way imo. My mini z was my favorite until it broke and I had to use the scx24 more now i don't even wanna go back to the mini z.
The low end control on these little guys is never real good. But still fun rigs. I can't get myself to go smaller than 1/14 scale, I just don't do any indoor crawling and scale driving in more my style and the little little guys just don't do it for me. That said i like to see all the little awesome rigs people build.
That many Z seems quite glitchy I've never had an off-road model but from all my mini z cars they are very precise at slow speeds no matter what I do with them maybe a factory mishap
I guess I shouldn't be so negative. *Ahm* Axial make great trucks but I much prefer the looks of the Kyosho bodies. btw, I'm going to try those wheels and tires myself, they fit really well. Thanks!

Great channel, man! Cool vids.
Thanks bud, glad you enjoy the content 😄🤙🏻
Cant beat the realistic bodies Kyosho ships with!
I put those RGT tires on mine now too and absolutely love them, they are perfect for it, what a huge difference over the stock tires, sure am glad I came across you video! Thanks.
Glad you found it and it helped 😄👍🏻
Wow never seen it this good! Thanks for this high quality video!
Nice man! Great set up with the tires. Very realistic detail on the Rubicon. Keep the videos coming
Glad you enjoy them 😄👍🏻
That was some funny S#!t man! nice work. I thoroughly enjoyed that and genuinely laughed out loud. I didn't roll on the floor however. But nice work!
Really glad you enjoyed it! 🤘🏼😄
Man the part where the mini Z is driving the scx24 I lost it man....your videos are always awesome man can't wait to see thet beast brushless
Thanks bud I’m glad you enjoy them 🤘🏼😄
SCIENCE! 😂 I'm late to the game on this one, but that was fantastically entertaining
Haha glad you enjoyed it 🤘🏼😄
Great vid ULRC - your content is next level!
First time I've seen your carboard of science. Funny stuff! Also looking forward to the brushless Kyosho!
Can they drive each other!!! this is cracking me up moar then anything else ive seen.,..LOLOLOLOLL fucking gold!!! WHAT
Glad you enjoyed it lol 😄👍🏻
As expected, SCX24 has plenty of power to spare. I recently installed Furitek on Koysho miniz and it works great!
Yeah I saw your video, it looks like it performs really well 😄👍🏻
Hahahaha omfg. Bro this made my night. That was some shit! ..Science! Lol
You made me LAUGH OUT LOUD! This was a treat! Lolol
Glad you enjoyed it! 😄👍🏻
😀😀very nice brou, sehr unterhaltsames cooles Video, süss der kleine crawler, aber besonders🏎💨, dicken fetten daumen nach oben für dein Video 👍👍👍👏💙
If I have to pick, I'd go with Mini Z for looks and style and Rubicon for rock crawling!
For sure 🤙🏻
Wow! That thing looks sweet on those wheel/tires! Interested to see how the lizard helps with slow speed.
You and me both 🤘🏼😄
There is a Furitek BL kit for Mini-z crawlers? Only know of the kits for racers... have to check this crawler upgrade kit for Mini-z
Yeah it’s on preorder right now 🤘🏼😄
I was wondering which one to buy. If you enjoy rc purely, go for scx24, and if you want to enjoy realistic rendering, go for kyosho. I am going to use it as an example.
I am trying to build a micro shark for my scx24 can someone tell me the best shocks to use
I'm building a mofo monster truck chasis build now and using the longer hot racing shocks. I went with 2 per wheel. Then I'm buying multiple body's to change out from cc&rc. He has most models of Mt trucks
Made my night. Making a cardboard of science now.
😄👍🏻
Nice set up bud 👍👍
You can also put some metal balls in the tires for lower cog.
Just curious, did you put the same modifications on the 4x4? :)
Great comparison but it's a disservice to the Mini-z considering you've upgraded the heck out of the axial. While it's not performance, you've replaced a ton on it.
No the mods are only on the axial really and it was not a fair comparison at all lol but more for just fun :)
Now, off to the outdoor course! Rain or shine, we don't care. I mean, it is Springtime now
For sure!
Great vid... Thanks! The Kyosho has a smaller body than the Axial and supposedly, they are both 1/24 scale. I am thinking that the Kyosho is either 1/25 or even 1/26 scale, but NOT 1/24 scale.
It’s 1/25th scale
The mini z's are magnificent machines but everything that you do needs to be scaled down a little bit for them they are quite a bit smaller they're definitely not in the same category when it comes to size but Kyosho is far superior in quality and parts, everything
Hi nice video, i felt that the SCX24 won overall. What wheels and tyres do you have on the Scx24? Thanks
Some Treal beadlock wheels and RC4WD rock creeper tires 😄👍🏻
nice tires for the kyosho!
Do you need some adapter to mount???
Yes, you can find adapters on eBay for the tires
We’re did you get the wheel adapters?
eBay
Very interesting vidéo 👍😉 good job 👍
Axial needs to stop catering for the visually impaired. That body shell is appalling. Very legit testing though, thanks.
Science man!!!🤘🤘🤘
Good sh*t man. Saying Dustin Dustin Dustin Dustin Nye the science guy just doesn't have the same ring as Bill Bill Bill! 🏎️🧪🔬🧑🔬🌲🌳
Haha your right it’s not quite the same lol
I question the rubicon’s actions in regard to that controller.
😂 why would you ever question it lol
would love to see a comparison using the cheese doodle test. both crunchy and puffed.
Haha I’ll think about it lol
At 7:13 can you please tell me what brand rc truck was it?
It’s a team associated 1/28 scale race truck
Is the Toyota 4Runner body interchangeable with the Jeep?
No the bumpers are part of the mounting figment so you can’t just swap bodies, if you get the bumpers to go with the body then you can swap them
😎👍
💯🔥
Science!!
What adapters are needed for those rims and tires to fit?
I found some 3D printed adapters on eBay a year ago, not sure who sold them but if you look up “Kyosho wheel adapters” you should find some
@@UpperLeftRC thanks, I found adapters for 7mm hex, hoping they are the right ones. Ordered tires off Banggood and they don’t list the hex size.
Pumped to see you do the brushless conversion! Would love to see the process and how difficult it would be for a beginner like me haha
I’ll definitely walk through the process in the video, I imagine it won’t be easy but we will see 😄👍🏻
Only thing better about kyosho is the body otherwise it worse in every other way imo. My mini z was my favorite until it broke and I had to use the scx24 more now i don't even wanna go back to the mini z.

I like the science.
Kinda looked like it was getting a frisky
That many Z seems quite glitchy I've never had an off-road model but from all my mini z cars they are very precise at slow speeds no matter what I do with them maybe a factory mishap
It’s because it’s got a Furitek ESC in it, I did a brushless swap 👍🏻
@@UpperLeftRC must be the meaning of furious suck then
@@UpperLeftRC in the crawler World brushless doesn't always mean better
SCIENCE!
😄🤙🏻
Can they drive each other? 😂
Same
you should put patagonias on it
I got a set and they might look pretty good 👍🏻
Lmao 🤣 that was awesome
Glad you enjoyed it! 😄👍🏻
hate to admit it but the KYOSHO jeep looks better
can they drive each other lol
Funny
lol
😂
Axial makes the ugliest bodies. It's why I avoid them. Kyosho for the win!
I guess I shouldn't be so negative. *Ahm* Axial make great trucks but I much prefer the looks of the Kyosho bodies. btw, I'm going to try those wheels and tires myself, they fit really well. Thanks!
