You can see he moved the home point that’s why the Dji Neo was far from the landing pad…. As you take off you look down and move the digital drone mark where it sets where to land. You moved it forward as you moved the drone forward looking down. You moved it here 4:30. I recommend you take off over the pad and look down at the pad where your digital drone mark is on the screen then look up with the camera before moving….. It will increase accuracy
DJI Drones with only TimeOfFlight sensors will never be super accurate or perform Prescision landing. The will use GPS Postioning only for this function, so that's as close as you can expect.
It relies on GPS... that's only about accurate to couple of meters, and since its a $200 drone what did you expect. Only military GPS will be more accurate, but you ain't getting that in a drone.

Drone return home depend on your wifi signal. If you are standing near the landing area most likely it will land near the landing area.
It will land 2 meter from the person to stick out his hand. Perfect.
