Actually slums will be there for couple of decades after that price of land would increase so much that government would forcefully clear that place

Nahi hatega un sabko Mumbai ke bahar ke suburbs me nahi jaana. Bina toilet ke reh lenge lekin palghar Vasai nahi jayenge acche flats me rehene. Kyunki unhe zameen ke bhav flat chahiye aur wahi aas paas chahiye. Badi badi maange hai unke faltu ke sab toh poore nahi kar sakti sarkaar.

Dhaka & Mumbai both are one of the fastest growing cities in the world lots of mega structures still undergoing it’s need to take some years then you can see the new face of these cities.
Yeah but sadly what's the use? I mean these both cities Don't have much future compared to upcoming emerging cities! Just see Mumbai is shifting towards Navi-Mumbai and Dhaka is shifting towards Purbanchal! And Mumbai lacks of space and undergoing irregular construction which will face lot of problems! And Dhaka is the only major hub of Bangladesh as for now total Bangladesh is Dhaka-Centric and will cause choas to Dhaka in upcoming years! So it's better both nations government shouldn't spend much in these cities and need to spend on upcoming emerging cities in Sub-continent like Bengaluru, Hyderabad,Gift,New Town,Navi-Mumbai etc in india and Purbanchal in Bangladesh (and is there many more? Idk what are upcoming emerging cities in Bangladesh) it would be helpful for people!
Slums ruined the view
No soul. I prefer the cute hosting societies of Andheri West and juhu. Mine has two short 7 story buildings with nice crowd, and sprawling lawns between them for playing. You see kids playing, cycling, talking.. it's very open and homely, not manicured like this. The buildings are perfectly aligned with a cute street with eateries and trees. The new suburbs, and the redevelopment projects, are making this city look very plastic and not like home. Homes shouldn't look like this. It's okay if lower Parel looks like this, not the suburbs. Homes shouldn't be so shut off and gated in its own cultureless world
I too grew up in a Manish Nagar . Both has it's own charm.
@@SulaWaradkar Growing up in the suburbs I described gives you a sense of responsibility for your city streets. Because you live so openly that your neighbourhood is intrinsically a part of you growing up. Living in gated communities, you do not have this attitude at all. I very much look down on gated communities as the main motto of such communities is saying "the outside world isn't that good, the city sucks let me give you luxury by separating and isolating us from the outside world". Places with gated communities do not often have good streets and neighborhoods and have to resort to this instead.
There is definitely a right and wrong here.
@@SulaWaradkar I explained why I think there is a right and wrong in this case. It is not like preferring red or blue. Some preferences have deeper problems, and it's the reason some cities have good quality of life and some don't. The preferences of its citizens make all the difference. Thinking matters. People of gated communities have no reason to care for the pavements outside or quality of public roads. They have given up on it. A city like that can never be beautiful.
The city has lost its charm, even with so much wealth Mumbai is getting boring by the day.
