As Sweden, you should unite Scandinavia, make Muscovy not exist, and take Constantinople, changing the name to Miklagård (the Viking name for Constantinople). Bonus points: Colonize North America and have Vinland own all of modern-day Canada.
As Sweden, take every canon Danelaw provinces, colonize DELAWARE (They once had a colony around New Jersey and Delaware called New Sweden), turn the Baltic sea into a Swedish lake, and tag switch to New Providence, the spawnable pirate nation in the Caribbean
As Sweden, conquer/colonize and core all their one-time colonies/factories, including Delaware (New Sweden), The Swedish Gold Coast, Saint Barthelemy, Guadeloupe and Parangipettai (East coast of Indian subcontinent); check the map on Wikipedia for reference, and also own every bit of land that Swedish troops occupied however briefly during the Great Northern War and, to be particularly nasty - because you shunned the goal set for Sunda - also everything Swedish troops passed during the Thirty Years War (good luck with taking big chunks of the HRE there…)

I should have added a silly item though like, conquer and convert the holy cities to Protestant (Rome, Constantinople, Antioch, Jerusalem, Alexandria) I also thought about proposing Hawk take the 1632 start date and try and form Scandinavia and become the emperor while playing with the actual Gustavos as ruler.

It's so much fun to see you play a region I lived in! Borobudor and Prambanan are incredible temples to visit, and the nation of Indonesia is in the process of moving their capital from Jakarta to the city of Nusantara on Borneo, between Kalimantan and Kutai. Plus, that purple color is gorgeous!
There is a good strategy for maximizing Tidore/Ternate colonization of the spice islands. You can do the following: 1-Annex Ternate 2-Annex Tidore as soon as it starts its colony 3-Release Ternate as a vassal 4-When Ternate gets its first colony and you've finished the original Tidorean colony, release Tidore and return its former colony Now you'll have two colonizing vassals since both of them have completed their first mission and can follow their mission tree Ps: The nations can be interchangeble, so you can do the opposite and get the same outcome
Also, before releasing them, convert their provinces to your religion. They're animist, so it's easy to convert. That way, they will be spreading your religion as well.
You can also combine this with maximizing the amount of cn's in Australia by getting five provinces yourself, giving 5 (or 10 if you want the extra merchant from cn's) to every vassal you have until there are no more provinces to be divided amongst you and the vassal empire. You can just conquer the natives doing this no need for colonising.
As Sweden, you need to ensure enough lumber supplies for all of the IKEA furniture. Your goal is to be trading in Tropical Wood and Naval Supplies, and you need to capture 100 ships.
Between if my memory is right you can grant the burghers "New world charters" as long as you have 1 colonist even if you havent taken Exploration to get an explorer with the decision and explore the regions early. Learned that when I played Ternate since they get a colonist once done with all their colonizing from a mission
Since Sweeden is the home of Bluetooth: As Sweeden, conquer all the provinces in Europe that are from a BLUE nation at the start date of 1444. (French, Bavaria, Hesse, etc).
I personally like more to see yo go throiugh missions and formables more than crazy goals, might be the only one... I like that they can be kind of guides and explore the content
As Sweden (Sweet-den), have 5 core provinces that produce sugar. Should be a little bit tricky but quite reasonable to accomplish, and isn't just another boring "you have to conquer half the world" or "you have to kill these specific countries" goal.

i think this is already known, but in my experience, when you do a reconquest, just give your vassal the province you declared on and the rest with "give back core". that is the cheapest way with AE. it's not much, but it adds up. cheers and big fan, man.

One of my favorite nations, can form one of the best NI nation idea wise through their mission tree, banten. So should form banten first, they have waaaay better ideas than Malaya. :)
Austria seems to be very strong in this patch. In my latest playthrough, they got Hungary, Bohemia, Hungary and later they weakend Poland-Lithuania enough to actually PU them. Of course they also kicked Ottomans and France asses and had around 1500 in total with their PUs around 200k troops in peacetime. Later they lost Pland-Lithuania (probably because of bad opinion), but therefore started again to carve them up.
To be honest the ai goes for this path 1 out of 100 games. They normally always take the hre path, its like with england going always for great britain and not angevin empire.

No need to be angry; the AI going after you is a compliment. It doesn't know that you're human. It does know that you're hyper-aggressive and successful, so it has to contain you.
Fun fact about Austria renaming itself. If the AI changes its name to Austria-Hungary, it turns off the Burgundy achievement to have both Austria and France as subjects. That was a fun waste of a campaign.

This isn't for a while, but im gonna prepare you for the pain. As Tsang, you must conquer all of Tibet and then form it, the province of "Om" because meditation sound, "Xining" because the Dalai Lama was born there, "Dang" cus the first Budha was born there, and then every province that has "zen" in its name (obviously not the Zenith Plateau cus its water just conquer the provinces that border it im not a monster)
Economic base is as follows : Dev median* provincecount * buildings + institutions + admin and diplo tech / 10 if i remember correctly, and if ur higher in any of the categories it removes some of the multipliers or additives to the modofier Edit: production and tax modifiers are also put into play, its not about how much money u make but how well you make it
Hawk, after you get your first colonist from expansion ideas, you can take the Burgher privilege "Grant New World Charters" that gives you explorers for free. You didn't have to steal maps.
You fought one more war with Bengal than you needed to. They had a Chinese province that you took in that second to last war with them that you didn't need and if you hadn't been selecting it you could have taken all the ones that had that you actually needed. 🤣
You can beat maja easily. When you declare, they'll bee line for your capital and start recruiting units. You just slide by and siege out tgeir lands, wiping the single units that are being recruited. Then turn around and smash them pn your capital. Humiliate and peace out. Usually, blambang will then attack and annex, or demak will split ofg. You can now invade them and annex the island
As Sweden avenge Sweden's greatest losses. Defeat Denmark, Poland-Lithuania, and Russia in wars. Making them not exist for bonus points. Finally show France who the real big blue blob is, and take Paris
How did Hawk go from "I hate Maritime South East Asia" to "I been looking forward to playing Sunda for a long time" . A to Z had him play here so much he forgets he's supposed to hate it
I like how you continue to struggle to get best peacedeals while its surprisingly easy to learn an automatic way that 99,5% of the times gives you the result (as in you dont have to doubt or think about it). This what you should do: Give wargoal directly to vassal and return cores with the rest through the peacedealscreen in the bottomleft. Because the wargoal always has a reduction in warscore cost and returning cores uses your countries reduction in warscore, like diplo ideas, admin efficiency and reformation age bonus. The best minmax is making the highest dev province the wargoal and return cores with rest. The exceptions are really rare and why I say 99,5%, your vassal would need a active monument to give bonuses (malta or granada for example) or they would need to have finished hard unique missions that grant admin effeciency like Sardinia piedmont or Croatia have or would need to have diplo ideas while you dont (AI rarely takes this idea).
"This run will require lots of colonization and I'm praying the colonizers don't end up getting what I want." *Doesn't bother picking up the groups that will give the most colonists* "Ah shit I can't believe other people colonized these provinces!" I love you Mr Hawk but god damn it bro lmao
Just opening expansion ideas lets you give to burger privlege that lets spaws explorers via decision. Now, those explorers will not be able to explore everything, perhaps. But it'll give better picture.
As sweden you should establish ruthenia and conquer all of the old kiev rus since the rurikids was said to come from swedish vikings and they were the dynasty that ruled it all. Greetings from sweden.

As Sweden, have your independence supported by all the nations you played as and supported them. Then, much like Sweden in your games, *DON'T* declare an independence war
Southern Sweden was supposedly the last place to embrace Christianity and give up Norse. So as Sweden, flip BACK to Norse either by the super rare event chain (you already start with the province needed for it) or by spawning Animist rebels in Scandinavia. Then form Scandinavia and convert all of the Scandinavia, Britain, and Russia regions to Norse!
I think the problem with that Bengal war is you went in on a reconquest CB, meaning you pay 100% of the cost for annexing new provinces that aren't cores, ye?
Settle the biggest beef in all of history, which meatball is better. As sweeden you have to conquer all of italy to show them the sweedish meatballs reign supreme.
Since the Swedish were the statebuilders of the Kyivan Rus, as Sweden conquer all of the Russia and Ruthenia regions. And 1up a Rus Viking attack by conquering Constantinople but the only way to get your troops there is directly naval invading Constantinople.

You could do an achievement run with Sweden: Win the League War, become Emperor, dissolve the HRE (and maybe conquer all the Baltic Provinces)
One theory is that Rurik is from Sweden. So as Sweden, you must become Russia and control all provinces in the Russia, Ural and Ruthenia regions.

The Ottomans having small colonies are actually historically accurate. They fought some wars with the Portuguese in the east, but lost them.

You can get explorers from the burgher colonization privilege.

Because the wargoal always has a reduction in warscore cost and returning cores uses your countries reduction in warscore, like diplo ideas, admin efficiency and reformation age bonus. The best minmax is making the highest dev province the wargoal and return cores with rest. The exceptions are really rare and why I say 99,5%, your vassal would need a active monument to give bonuses (malta or granada for example) or they would need to have finished hard unique missions that grant admin effeciency like Sardinia piedmont or Croatia have or would need to have diplo ideas while you dont (AI rarely takes this idea).
