So, like I said in the previous video, NR gets bullied by everyone on the start, but If nobody cripple their shipyards before the clock runs out they mop the floor with everyone else. And of course, Pentastar has the best starting location & units from all Warlords, so they not only expand very easily but also always put the greatest resistance against invasions. Even after NR eliminated all of the remaining factions It's clear that the AI is having difficulties to crack that corner of the galaxy and take over Bastion.
I suggest changing the name of the mod to "Kaine's Revenge"...
The Pentastar Alignment is easily the best warlord faction. They got a great set of heroes to start with. The begin in a corner of space that's easy to defend and got access to several great shipyards, mining, and trade bonus planets. They have a solid navy and land unit selection. If this was strictly All Imperial factions fighting each other, the Petastar Alignment would come out on top.

@@Sephiroth144 You've got a point there. Shadow Empire is the Galactic Empire at it's most powerful and a virtually unstoppable juggernaut. Once they have an Eclipse and Soverign SSD out, it's all over. They can win almost any scenario at that point. Not to mention they have access to a wide variety of powerful land and space units.

Please include popups on screen to indicate if the ai forms dark empire and who it is and if anyone builds or loses super weapons it would be much more interesting.
Eriadu taking the top spot for a while was unexpected probably an assertor power spike but well it's always down to pa with the stronger start and the nr snowballing
I found it funny how far from Eriadu the Eriadu authority came to 😂

I love that once Eriadu had lost most of their territory, with the NR and PA being the only two relevant powers left, they outright turned into an insurgency fighting both sides. You can even see on the map how they take planets deep behind enemy lines from both major powers. I guess they learned a thing or two from the Rebel Alliance.
Wow, what got into Eriadu at around cycle 350? They must have gotten some legitimacy unlocks that helped them snowball while the NR was not paying attention to them. Sadly they Delvarded it up and lost everything they took.

That was really fun to watch, even if the NR took the win again! The changing faction names and logos on the side was great, like watching a horse race and seeing who moves into first.
Without the Empire of Hand to slow down the PA or to bother the NR. The New Republic and PA are two factions I expected to be at the end. I would’ve never bet on the EA to survive. Especially when the NR does well. They usually are the second or first imperial faction to be destroyed.
Also, If the New Republic doesn’t get destroyed early in the game, the late-game ship roster causes the NR to dominate the other factions.
It was surprising how they lasted so long. But yeah, the NR and the PA are the two top factions in the mod.
The galaxy really can't take a kriffing break. Not even the One Sith to have had the chance to start things their way.
Is it possible to have a conquest where the NR and PA go at it only? Those two factions are the ones that remain consistently fighting and are very powerful. Who would win that battle?
I'm guessing that the ranking is based on planet count. Military power and economic power count for a lot in this game, and could absolutely make planet count irrelevant. A rampage by one faction that takes many planets rapidly but fails to properly develop infrastructure and fails to destroy the bulk of the rampagee's fleet strength can easily be reversed when the rampager overextends and exhausts it's fleet strength.
As a serious Corp. Sector player…. I see this as an absolute win that we lasted this long 😅😂

The new republic almost fumbled the bag so hard lol
Unfortunately it always comes down to ether the New Republic snowballing in the galactic south cause the Eriadu don't put up much of a fight at all for most of the game until they get the Assertor and Bellator and start churning out Praetor Mark II's and Torpedo Spheres on mass then they will snowball so long as nothing goes wrong. And Pentastar snowballing in the North cause of their strong start as usual. Only way to stop New Republic is to stomp them early and cut off key planets they need or else they will cut through the map with ease.

Hey Corey, whatever happened to the image we could have for the post Endor timeline chart you did at the beginning of the year? I understand if you did not finish it but would appreciate clarification on its state
My problem was that by cycle 50-70 Greater Maldrood is totally bullied and the AI are just in a stalemate , fighting constantly over 2-3 planets
I hate how when the A.I. has lost everything and only has 1 world left they will refuse to do anything from that point onward. They will never leave that world to try and take another unless you the player attack worlds next to it, capture it, and purposely leave the planet undefended next to them so they can hopefully capture it and get back in the game and do something.
The fact that the ea didn’t die is wild and somehow the empire returned??? I assume it was from a revolt
It was from the Maw unlocking, so Dark Empire was unlocked, and Palpatine died, then Carnor came, he must’ve died, and so then Daala was unlocked

Shouldn’t the Maw have joined the PA or whoever had Byss. Unless everyone’s Legitamcy scores were so degraded from losing heros.

Maybe I have some sort of light OCD because I just can't stand the way each side's planets are all divided, it's one of the reasons I can't enjoy those mods(((
I always loved how in original Empire is in the center, rebels on the outskirts. Makes it pleasant to look at and quite manageable while keeping the danger of not knowing where the opponent is planning to strike, whereas here I'm immediately in a panic state due to all my planets being surrounded from all sides...

a great video to watch (there is a minor bug in a mod preventing the victory screen from showing (the maw is a 3 level shipyard so it prevents game from ending). i thinked that you migth want to know about this minor bug
Nice, once again surprised how long the early losers manage to hold on (GM in this case). I was always expecting them to get knocked out any moment, but they made it almost till the end.

As a person who only follows confederacy vs republic era i am very confused by half these names haha
A lot of the imperial splinter groups take up what was previously CIS territory, so looking at it that way can help find one's bearings. Basically the imperial splinter group that took up residence in the Banking Clan territories do really well all the time, due to their comparatively privileged position.
We want more! Maybe one with commentary next time if that's possible.

I believe it's because they managed to get to Era VI which unlocks The Maw and its Imperial forces inside
Query: How are the rankings calculated (on the right)? Is it purely "number of worlds held", or something else?
It's the number of planets, though manually counted by me at semi-regular intervals

How does this work??
He added a planet to the know galaxy map and then ‘played’ as the Empire of the Hand. I assume he locked the planet to prevent the AI from attacking it
