As a Private Security Guard I wish there is more we can do legally to deter crime from happening because our job is to observe and report but we aren’t allowed to go hands on with anyone which really sucks. Our companies also don’t back us up if something were to go wrong yet we’re also involved in dangerous situations. I know that we don’t get near half the training as law enforcement, however I do believe that we should at least be able to some things law enforcement do aside from actual transport to the jails/prisons. What do you think?
I've never been a fan of "observe and report". I believe security officers should be trained and have the authority to stop a crime in progress and detain until police arrive. Or, there is the company/private police department route.
Hey scott hope you doing well , i was wondering if you could do a video on your view and maybe others officers about the new law that was passed in California SB 960 allowing non-citizens with legal federal paper work to become sworn police officers. Would really appreciate it thanks
@ I really appreciate it sir thank you so much, i may have few Questions in advance that i think are crucial for those who aren’t citizens and are looking to become an officer in US 1. What are the possibilities of being accepted as a non-citizen 2. If Accepted what would be the status of that officer. 3. What about asylee applicants can they apply with work permit? And other advice would be very much appreciated
Thanks for watching.

Many years ago I read in an old Japanese martial arts book that you never point a gun at someone with less than 10 ft between you. That stuck with me.
That's pretty good! I know situations are volatile, but initiating hands on while gun or taser is in one hand is very dangerous.
