I have an '83 240D with 4 speed manual transmission. It has been garage kept for most of its life. No rust. I now watch the value go up every year to where i am afraid to take it out on the road. Great automobile. A little slow to accelerate but easily runs at highway speeds.

Yes, it has been in taxiuse for 2-3 years before my dad bought it. That´s why the dashboard differs from the normal model. The taximeter has been taken away and instead of that there is an extra box. It really is in good condition. My dad did not drive the car very much. May be I´ll post new videos later.

I had a '76 240, put over 200 thousand miles on it. Loved the handling, but it was a little slow, a 4 speed would have helped though Mercedes didn't have a proper handbrake. If I ever found a good 300 turbo, I'd be tempted.
