Thank you SO MUCH for this video! I am making business shirts for my husband's company and the front breast logo of the t-shirt has small font. The logo is what it is, so I can't change the font. I spent HOURS weeding yesterday, dealing with letters pulling up at every turn. I have 30 more shirts to go and I was at my wits end. I just tested your method and it weeded like a DREAM! You have no idea how much time and headache you have saved me. Thank you for sharing.
Such a great video Karley - I just finished a wall plaque for a housewarming gift and I used Smart Vinyl - that was a dream to work with and it turned out really nice - PS - I even used your word blocking technique without knowing what it was - really cuts down on waste and so much easier to weed - anxious to try your offset idea
Thanks for the tip. I just started doing HTV work and finding that Im loosing small letters while trying to Weed, ultimately ruining the portion of work.
Hi Karley! I am looking to see what cut setting on a Cricut Maker 3 for smaller sized font is best for HTVRONT HTV vinyl. Do you have any suggestions? I've tried everyday iron on and non cricut heat transfer vinyl on all 3 pressure settings. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello, Karley! A quick question if you don't mind. It has to do with permanent vinyl, not HTV, but I'm hoping you can provide some guidance. I am a devote user of StarCraft Permanent HD premium matte vinyl...pretty much all I use. I just finished a project, and I had an issue with bubbling. (I put the vinyl on a chalkboard sign.) I've made many chalkboard signs and have never had this problem, so I'm thinking it was the sign itself. I've also never used this brand of sign blank before. But... that said, I'm wondering about tips about applying permanent vinyl to avoid bubbling. I was able to pierce many of the bubbles, and they are less noticeable, but if you look closely, you can see them. Oh, and I use the transfer tape from 143 Vinyl as well. The sign blank was cleaned well before I applied the vinyl. Thanks, Karley! I hope you don't mind my question outside of the topic of your video.
Any and all questions are always welcome! How did you transfer the vinyl? Did you place the transfer tape with vinyl directly on to the blank? Or did you use an application method like the hinge method?

Oh how I wish I’d see this video five years ago. Excellent tips even for a “seasoned” weeder. Thank you.
Thank you so much! Offsetting has made my life so much easier. Thank again for sharing 😊

Opps, I meant not the hinge method.
@@julielyons7172 The hinge method will definitely help with bubbling! It'll allow you to slowly press it down evenly!
My name is also Karley..I don't think I have ever seen somebody with the same name as me and the same spelling..
There are only a few of us!! So nice to meet you! 🥰
@@KarleyHall Nice to meet you aswell! ☺️
