    Awesome video, love the level of detail you go into for your viewers.

      Much appreciated. The support via Discord was really helpful indeed. I like the way that Hype has released a project that is beta and still in development - and welcoming people's comments. There is something in this that fits the ethos of simming, in that we are all trying things new/testing/seeing how we can push the boundaries. I am going to look at doing alternative approaches to ILS next, so I may well pop a couple of comments on Discord again when the queries surface. Thanks HPG.

    It would be good to see a tablet tutorial that only requires the Base Pack and not having bought the optional Action Pack as things are different (or missing) in the Base Pack

      Mark - I will do this. I am mid-way though a separate project looking at landing approaches in general - but I will go back and do a non AP variant guide. Take care.

    Thoradan's mod no longer works. Each time I try to run the scenario editor, the server is off no matter how often I try to hit it.

      Lifted from the Key Bindings section of the manual - set your key or joystick button slection to this in MSFS:
      TOGGLE YAW DAMPER Fire (Primary) Only on military variant
      SET YAW DAMPER Fire (Secondary Only on military variant
      Sorry for the delay. I am not really a shoot things up type of guy, and I have been working on instrument approaches recently. Take care

    Is there a key binding you can use to dump the water? I already use "Engine Anti Ice 3" to activate the GTC button in the AP. Maybe there is a similarly weird action that can be used for the bucket?

      Hi havowf. I am away from my desk right now but if you go into the H145 folder you will.find a configuration file. Double click on it and you will find a set of commands and key bindings- with all those bizarre actions that the h145 would use but can be bound to other actions. You can add new ones hut Imdont known if there is one for emptying the bucket. Check the manual, and do.join the discord chat as everyone is really supportive and you can put a question like that up - and if it is not being worked on the team might look at it. Take care. Thanks for subscribing. Fdoc.

      Thanks for that. I found the binding in the H145 manual. It's the "Toggle Yaw Damper" action to use the bucket. I now have that bound to one of the buttons on my controller. Thanks again

      @@SEPK09 For dropping water you need to load water first with landing or gliding on water and then click on the right instrument to drop water, please watch video fully to see it in action, there is a video on UA-cam

    what folder do you put the wallpaper in please and do you need to do it for every livery? thanks in advance

    • @theflyingdoctor
      @theflyingdoctor  Рік тому

      Its in the manual - with the dimensions. Setting Tablet Wallpaper
      Include a wallpaper.jpg file in your package: html_ui\Livery\\wallpaper.jpg. You can measure the dimensions of this image if you open it in any editor, and replace it with whatever you want. Take care.

      p.116 - but I am sure there is an earlier entry.

      @@theflyingdoctor I saw that in the manual but I didn't realise that its separate in each livery folder so I would have to do it for every livery - I was looking in the main HPG145 folder duh!!! - thank you for your assistance - I just opened one of the livery wallpapers and edited that and then saved a copy so I made sure the dimensions were correct

    why my tablet is not the same ?

    • @theflyingdoctor
      @theflyingdoctor  2 роки тому

      Hi Le Cobra. This is the tablet, as it appears, for the Action Pack additions so it has some other features. If you are talking about the general look with the wallpaper, I outline how this can be changed from stock by designing a new one and replacing it. Is that what you mean. I will offer a tutorial shortly for the non Action Pack varient. (Athough there is nothing 'new' here - there are just less options). Take care.
