I have my first infusion eight weeks ago and it did not work right away. Today is March 11 and I believe it has start to work. I am not experiencing any flareups. The second Stara injection I have to give myself, so that’s why I’m watching these videos. How is it working for you? @boatergirl4811
Some people said it loses its effect for them some time before the 8 week reinjection period ends, but they regain its effect with the next dose. Some people arrange a more frequent dosage with their doctor. I'm about to have my first self injection, I've only had the initial infusion 8 weeks ago and I'm not sure if it's taken effect yet.
I’m about the same age as you and began Stelara about 10 months ago. It will take a while to see results (potentially months for some people), but I recommend you stick with it. It’s made a huge difference for me.
@@thenature4785 remicade worked for me but then I became allergic to it Then humara worked for a long time but I developed antibodies for it so it stopped working. Stelara didn’t work for me and now I’m trying Skyrizi
I’m curious about this also, I have also failed entyvio and inflectra…. Now my GI Dr wants me to try stelara, I hope it does, I was diagnosed in 2020 with ulcerative Colitus and I’m already over it, but last resort is colon removal…. Will try anything before that point
Just started this medication a week ago! Looking forward to hopefully returning back to college, god is good.
thank you so much for this video!
May be its medical protocol.they told me the same thing to operate after stelara doesn't work after remicade and entyvio.
Hi , I had my first injection a month ago and , when does it start to work.?

It's five seconds every month. I do it and it's no big deal
Let the side effects remain throughout the treatment period, or they will fade away little by little?

En ?beter?
Did nothing work else work since your diagnosis, hence why you got your first stelara at 26?

@huffintin I've also tried enemas Steroids so I'm about to quit all that and focus on diet tumeric and ashwaganda and red light therapy
Got my infusion 2 months ago and feeling great! The self injection just showed up in the mail.. nervous. Do i have to jam the needle in all the way??
Yes, as far as it will go. Just a quick jab at 45 degree angle. Stomach is an easy location, and you barely feel it.
Into the subcutaneous tissue (fat tissue). Nice and slow injection to not get a bruise.
