@CasualDIY Yeah, I bet! I don't know when, but I'm definitely going to get one as soon as I can! I just did a shop update... I still don't have a PC, but I'm going to try to record and edit with my smartphone. Wish me luck. 😬
Looks like a very neat and tidy design, belts are underneath so are somewhat protected from dust etc, simple to put together ... best of all are the results, absolutely fantastic (but it should be for the price) 👍
Yes I do like the enclosed design as it means I don't have to clean the belts that often in my dusty workshop 😅 I have to say put of the box with basic settings Ortur really nailed the engraving
Hard choice, in the 20W bracket I would say the Longer B1 but all the 20W modules offer similar performance so I would suggest getting what's most affordable
@@CasualDIY I bought the Creality that you reviewed because it beat the longer in every test and it was almost put together for you lol. I also bought the 400x400 honeycomb and the rotary roller to engrave wooden ink pens that I make.
@@gdempsey17 You can't really see the difference in a dot size with a naked eye, so no I would not see the difference. What you can see is the engraving quality and this one is to a very high standard
Tomasz, all though I appreciate the fact that you are testing these laser machines that keep being sent to you, but it's actually starting to look like the goal for your channel for 2023 is just to aquire as many lasers as possible and become a channel all about lasers. I've lost count of the amount of " Reviews " you have done on lasers this year and it's still only July 😢. Looking forward for when you return to making things again for your channel etc as the lasers are just becoming repetitive and mundane at this moment in time, sorry to say, but that's how it is. As always tomasz 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.
Hmm well they keep making new models, I think I'll start a new channel just focused on lasers I think. I like the tech to be honest and they interest me a lot. However more big woodworking projects from September on this channel. In the summer time the views are always lower so I moved most content to September. With lasers views are coming as people search for a specific model. Plus these videos will help me to get cash for woodworking projects as materials are crazy expensive 🤔
Hi there, hope you're well I'm a subscriber of your channel & love the videos, please could you give me some advice on laser engraving/cutting as I have literally no clue but I am seriously thinking of getting into it but my question is can multiple cutters be controlled by just the one laptop/device or does each machine need it's own dedicated device, hope you can help me out with a answer thankyou & take care
Hi, Yes you can. I've just recently used Lightburn ( opened separately for each laser) and connected Ortur LM3 via normal USB and Atzer L2 via USB-c to my laptop and they worked fine. Some of the lasers will have WiFi connectivity so you can use a tablet or phone as well plus most will have memory card of which they can work the files. Hope this helps
I'm pretty new here so i feel terrible to ask this but it would be really nice to see a small comparison at the end of the review something like "this is what the cut/ engrave results are compared to each other" then show the peices of ply with the cut test and maybe the name of the machine overlayed or something. It might reveal some interesting data. Idk 🤷♂️

Brilliant machine, Tomasz! Strong as heck! 😃
Congrats!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Very good machine I have to say. Nice and compact perfect for a beginner

Hello I assembled all machine, but I do not know why only move in X axis do not moving in Y axis, any help to share?
Thank you.
I would assume the wiring is not connected or connected incorrectly.
@@CasualDIY thanks, I found the problem, the Y axis motor came damaged.
Does yours beep the whole time it's powered on? I just got myself one.
If its beeping that means there is something wrong
What your favorite 20-24watt laser.

Can you tell me if the dot size is truly .08x.08mm as Ortur say? I ask because I have been misled in the past by other companies. Thanks
I've got no way of measuring that I'm afraid
@@CasualDIY Thanks for your reply. Does it seem small in comparison to others?

For my lasers I use special plywood for laser cutting and engraving. Just Google it, "plywood for laser cutting". It's not so dense.
Christ Thomas. How many more lasers are you going to get. Getting a bit boring now.
