    This is a living being giving his all in what he knows is his last chance to survive, failing and not only realizing he's failed but everyone around him realizing he's failed too. It is fascinating and cruel, but it is merely the simplicity of nature.

    I felt so bad for that bear, alone and starving. The wilderness is such a harsh mistress. It definitely was an amazing battle to see, poor creature…I hope he is at peace now.

      Fuck bears man. Anyone who really knows them understands why our ancestors hunted them down. They're brutal, cruel, and love inflicting pain. They will eat you alive. I saw one tearing down a live moose, ripping chunks of flesh and gobbling them down.

    I lived in Barrow Alaska. I had an acquaintance who was stalked and eaten by a Polar Bear. Polar Bear populations have grown tremendously in the last 50 years, and only slight decline recently. They're magnificent animals, and they're not in any danger of extinction.

      You can read studies from Yale that will tell you Polar Bear population has been on the decline for decades and their body mass has been decreasing . . .

    The fact that the walrus was able to drag an over 900 pound bear into the water from the shallows while said bear was DRAGGING IT BACKWARD just shows how strong walruses are. Absolutely insane.

      No. Their hides are too thick and their tusks aren't sharp.
      They do however stab each other when battling. When you put deliberate force behind those things they can cut through nearly any hide.

      Walruses don’t have a reason to, they neither care about other walruses children nor are they under threat from the bear enough to need to fight it, they are more likely to get injured if they fight it

    Imagine being surrounded by an abundance of food, more than you could ever eat, yet unable to take a single bite. Nature's ways can be harsh and bitter at times, don't you agree? When I saw the polar bear moving forward, it truly hit me with the colossal size of those creatures. I found myself empathizing with the polar bear, hoping it could at least catch a prey or find a weak one to sustain itself. However, the final scene broke my heart as the bear resorted to groaning and lying on the ground, utterly defeated. My heart shattered witnessing the challenging journey and trials that wild animals face to survive 😔
