My guess is these SD40s will soon be off property and sold to other railroads. For someone like myself that grew up around Boston and Raifanned the B&M since the late 1960s and onward all over the system it's a sad time that no more lineage to the B&M is left soon, just a future of Blue & Yellow CSX rolling computers !!! Well I guess we have our memories, photos, books and video of our old beloved Railroad !
Soon that shiny CSX business train will traverse through New England and do the same thing it does in the Midwest. Not stop and explain why tariff rates are so high and PSR poor service prevails. 🦞

I miss the old days of B&M, MEC, B&A, VC, GT etc when I lived in New Hampshire. So happy I was there back then. 😁👍
They sure are pretty. I was able to chase an SD40-2-led NMWA last summer, as well as getting one on NS 11R.
