I am a vegan from Brasil . this look very good ... I had a simple miso shiro with rice I bought on a japanese store over the center of the city . I always use eastern itens to cook and I always buy vegan japanese produce . This looks very good , I also speak japanese , I am very happy to see acessible vegan options over Japan stores this makes me want to go Japan someday , maybe try to apply for developer programmer jobs to see what happen , or even to just visit (:
YOu are very cool and humble , God Bless
    Go VeGaN

I'm very glad you mentioned meat alternatives to fried tofu, that makes the dish x100 more tasty as a Winter warmer Hot Pot dish, along with plenty of extra spice!
I really learn a lot from the small details such as how you chop the vegetables and squeeze out extras from the mushroom stock and how long you infuse the Kombu. Very helpful.

@@liscatcat8756 I've worked on farms raising animals for meat production and applied ethical standards to that animal husbandry and have a clear conscious over the taking of life in order to give life under those conditions. The meat not only tastes excellent and is healthy and nutritious but the full use of the animal products after a high quality life of the animal makes it appreciated that much more also. I enjoy eating such meat products and find it makes the food taste so much better.

I need this club for sure. I need to loose weight and get healthy but the pricing is a lot. And then of course I have to pay for transportation to H mart our local Japanese grocery, and then the food itself. It’s a lot.

I still have a lot to learn about Japanese cooking. 🙂 Pretty much everything I've learned, I've either learned from you, or was inspired to learn more because of something I saw in one of your videos. 🙂

It looks delicious but serving a soup or stew in a pot doesn’t make it a hot pot. Hot pot is a communal way of cooking and eating. It’s not the dish that makes it a hot pot.
