@@RidingMyBestLife 👌 I still want to start at the broken mesa trail head and make that small climb to the top to go down it and connect to ice house. I think that would be a step up from starting at the top of ice house.
It was cool to have met you at Bicycles Unlimited Saturday, excellent vid as usual. I think my group and I were the very last to ride this gem pre-fire. As we came back down from picking up our shuttle the fire had just started, bummer for sure but hopeful it'll grow back!
Ha ha nice narration. I started mtb at 55 three years ago because of Brian . Now 58 2 busted shoulders hardly any sheen skin and a broken nose, love to shred ha ha dint realize I liked speed and chunk. Love your keeping it real and honest . Cheers!
I’ve got to believe Brian has influenced many others just like you and me .. thanks for reaching out . This sport is so awesome . And I must admit speed and chunk is addictive . Try to keep the wheels on the dirt , we are getting to old to crash any more and it takes us off the bike . 👊🏻
Thanks Nick .. after a few pretty bad crashes in the last few months . I was forced to change some things up and focus on fundamentals . Learning how to flat turn has been the biggest reason for progression .. thanks for watching .. 👊🏻
I’m glad you were finally able to ride with one of your favorite UA-camrs. Plus, you kept up with him the whole time, which shows how good of a rider you have become. Great vid, looking forward to the next one!
Hey Jason! I stumbled upon your videos a while back, in my search for a mountain bike. I was watching and recognized your voice then when you showed your face i pinpointed it! Not sure if you remember me, but I'm Alan Dayley's second son. My wife and I live just north of Salt Lake. I'm planning to get an Ibis Ripmo in the next little while. Once i do, I'll have to come visit St. George and check out your local trails! Great to see a fantastic person making fantastic content!
You know I could never forget you Tanner .. thanks for reaching out .. you are gonna love the Ripmo .. I’m Hawaii in vacation and was just reminiscing on our Dayley boys trip .. Tell your dad he needs to start mountain biking .. and let me know when you come down .. I’ll tow you in and show you the good stuff .
@@RidingMyBestLife Lol! Thanks so much! Yeah, I'm hoping that by jumping into mountain biking, he'll follow suit! That was quite an amazing trip to Hawaii. I'll keep in touch and let you know when i come down!
Oh my, Jason from my golfing past. Met you when I was a pro at Tumwater and you got me all those golf balls :) I'm big into MTB now myself and planning another trip to Moab in April. Nice vids and I'll start following you. Best of luck
small world.. I remember you.. do you still live in the PNW? We have a group pf guys that road trip up there every summer.. Duthie hill, Bellingham and Tiger Mt. its so good. I would love to ride with you. let me know when you nail down Moab and I just might see you on the trails.
Wouldn't mind trying this trail. Last part looks fun. I'd have to climb myself to the top, though. I also wouldn't mind trying the Revgrips, but cannot justify the cost.
Awesome video!
Thanks I appreciate that .. thanks for watching 👍

Thanks man .. can’t wait until they expand it .. the new trail they have planed dumps into ice house to make one huge DH flow .
@@RidingMyBestLife sweet! Where is it going to dump into icehouse at?
@@gamberride9780 not 100% sure .. but somewhere near the top .. it is still awaiting approval .. covid has slowed things down

So strange seeing the snow with it being so bright and dusty elsewhere! Seriously fast riding there 👍
Pretty high elevation start . That snow was 2 weeks old . Does not happen very often but cool when it does .. thanks for the sub 👍
Even just watching a few of your videos I can tell that you're riding a lot better in this one

@@RidingMyBestLife ya I saw the video of you busting up your knee, made me hungry for some steak
I might have been in that Gooseberry video. I was in the JEM one but we didn't ride in the same group for the goose.
Nice .. I’ll go back and re watch it 👊🏻 these guys were so cool and chill to ride with. .

I always knew you had a secret crush on BKXC ;) Revgrips needs to sponsor you right away! Awesome video buddy!
Hey let’s keep that crush thing on the DL . And I agree I need a rev grip sponsorship . I could help them sell at least 1 new set a year .. 😆

Rev Grips for the WIN! #notsponsored lol

People do climb this .. we call them crazy 🤣 the initial investment is steep for sure .. but they work . And I only have mild arthritis .
@@RidingMyBestLife Does look like it would be a long grueling climb. I have a lot of trails I still want to try down there.
Nice video bro! On a side note, i think we use the same app to create thumbnails 🤣
