Welcome back . Let’s ride sometime . If you reach out Aaron Tuttle @southernutahmountainbikers he can get you dialed in . We have group rides every week somewhere . @sumtb
I used to ride these trails practically every week from 90' to 94' on my Stumpy hardtail. Only name I remember was 3 fingers and clavicle something. No signs or fences back then. #memories
It’s been a minute since I rode this spot . But very cool place . Some friends rode this morning and spotted one of our rare endangered tortoises . Pretty lucky where I live 👍
i just moved here to St George from cal where all my bikes got ripped off looking to get that replaced asap, so I can enjoy the trails thanks for the vids cant weight to try these trails when i replace these bikes that got ripped off
Thanks for the video, I haven't checked out your other videos yet so this may not be an issue, but this video was much more comfortable to watch when you were standing than when you were sitting, due to a better view of the horizon so you might want to angle the camera up just a bit more.
Thanks for taking us along on your bike ride, looks like so much fun. We are moving to St George in 2 weeks, a dream come true! I was wondering if you could tell me where there’s a good place to rent mt bikes until I can buy some new ones? Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much
Welcome to St George .. most of my friends will rent from Bicycles Unlimited close to town , and over the edge when near Virgin or Hurricane .. we have some great bike shops in the region , and most rent bikes. Congratulations I think you will love it here, we do . Thanks for watching 😃
I’m coming to St. George next weekend and would love to hit this trail, but I’m worried I’ll get lost. Seems like there are a ton of different places to go, but this looks like a great ride. Do you have a map, or maybe are you on Strava so I can see where this is? Thanks in advance.
I would download MTB project or Trail forks.. I’m not the best guy to ask on this trail since I ride it so infrequently .. it’s the most popular .. but certainly not the best ... don’t get me wrong it’s worth the effort .. but I avoid crowds when possible .. depends on what kind of trails you like .. this has some smooth flow , small jumps and the cardio won’t kill you .. I prefer church rocks for close to town riding .. or a great intro to our awesome Mesa riding would be a Wire Mesa .. guacamole is great .. if you don’t mind tech and climbs .. zen is so good .. you can’t go wrong actually .. 😂🤣
I'm new to all this. I am an old guy. Just picked up my first 29er. Haven't ridden in years. The last part of the video shows down hill. How fast are you actually going? Thanks. Loved the video.
Great video. I like how you describe the trails and suggest a route for others. That is good info. Thanks. I'm heading out there soon, any suggestions on how too meet up with local riders?
Bike fix Utah does a couple shop rides one Saturday and one Thursday .. always a good time and great place to meet .. also @sumtb just post you are in the area and looking for a ride .. or DM me if I’m around I’m always up for a ride .
@@RidingMyBestLife Well Well I made it to ST. G. will you be riding in the area? I'm traveling with my mother so I'm trying to incorporate a ride around our sight seeing. Jamie.
Just moved back to st george and I am now really into mountain biking. And I'm verry verry happy and exited I found your channel.

They build the fences to keep people from making more trails . It’s protected turtle land . Fun stuff for .sure
Looks like a great place

The Crashing Dad it is fun and has so many lines to explore .. my number one unwritten rule ... have fun .. it’s what’s it’s all about . 😃

So many trails like this to Get Around to if you ever make it up here 👍🤘

Thanks I’ll take a look at those trails too. Planning to hit up the bike park on Friday afternoon and then do one of these trails on Saturday morning.

Congrats on the 29er. Not going very fast maybe 10-12 MPH . It called a DH but that section is actually pretty flat . The GoPro makes it look faster

If this is a super popular trail in st. george. What would you recommend for an intermediate rider that has a couple of days to ride st. george?
Church rocks is a good one .. then out to one of the Mesa trails .I would highly recommend wire mesa., Another fun trail is guacamole
@@RidingMyBestLife Awesome, How's the riding right now down there?
Cold in the morning but riding after 10 am seems to be perfect .
is late Feb a good time to go?
Usually .. but we got snow today . Takes a few days for the ground to dry up . Church Rocks and Paradise rim would be good to go if this is mud .
