I love Disc 1 and I loved what they do some Metro sound we never heard before and Future rapping melodically. Weeknd's feature everything is worked for me yeah some songs can be trimmed but I'm sure they'll grow up. But still a great album. 8/10 for me
Only throw aways for me were We Still Don’t Trust You and Amazing interlude. Other than that I can’t wait to keep relistening to everything else. @LittleOoozie yeah first disc = we don't trust you. Like that's part 1 and this is part 2 we still don't trust you
Yeah I skipped through at least 6 songs on we don't trust you. And not to mention it's so annoying when audio snippets from movies get added to song endings. But this album had none of that and I could play it through without skipping. So much more enjoyable

The two best things about this album: The Rocky feature and the McLovin mention
People wanting J Cole to see J Cole living according to their wishes and expectations is just really insane. Why would you not want to see J Cole working with other artists whom he doesn't have beef with?
No we want him to live the life he’s been rapping about.

Honestly didn’t expect you guys to hate this album like that. Personally the first disc is exactly the future sound that’s my favorite and I think some of his best songs in years are on there. Second disc feels like leftover songs that should’ve been on the first album but they’re still good songs. The first album was the classic future trap approach and it worked really well but this is the real melodic flow future that put you in a trance and that’s always been my favorite sound of his. I thought his vocals worked incredibly well unlike on some of his more experimental records he’s put out out in the past and metros production was on point as always. Songs like this sunday, overload and one big family are exactly what I wanna hear from future but I guess it all comes down to taste
I agree theres too many songs and not that many real stand out songs, but saying this is a weak album just isn't true imo. It's just consistently pretty good in my eyes. And people are acting like Drake's the victim here like he hasn't been sending subliminals for years that they loved hearing

More shots at Drake seem to water down the hype i have for his showdown with Kendrick. Much rather just see those 2 fight it out.

If i'm being honest, I don't know if it was Metro's original idea for all these people to go for Drake. It's just after the sneak disses on the first We Don't Trust You and after Kendricks "Like That" verse. I think all these rappers and singers just went to Metro like "WE DONT TRUST HIM EITHER".
