Probably the first time that I’ve ever heard the phrase “Nav is a lock”
Imagine hearing this without context.
Respect the 🐐
@@NFRPodcast Fr. NAV the GOAT and Nas is trash.
@@Austin-nx4yn Dickriding without a license bro nobody even mentioned nas lmao
@@NFRPodcast i would rather get my chest split open and my lungs peeled out while getting adrenaline pumped into my veins to stay alive for hours on end than listen to a nav album
"Ice spice is the hottest in the game, without a doubt" is crazy 💀
Maybe they meant another kind of "hottest"
Ant wants Ice Spice to dominate more than just the 2020s
nah ant got that dawg in him he aint getting dominated in bed
👀😏

💀💀💀💀💀💀
When Wayne wants to tell a deep story he does it just as good as anyone
Same thing as Eminem but the majority of their music isn’t that, their story telling songs are amazing but when compared to their entire body of work it’s pretty irrelevant. Eminem is legit known for being the “lyrical miracle spiritual rapper”
it's not that he's bad, its just the competition
Every new video series you guys do is great. Saw this notification and knew immediately it was gonna be another amazing vid. Keep doing what you guys are doing. And keep loving music.
Appreciate the love!
Spitting only facts rn
True. They could do part 2 of so many video ideas already haha
Lu hates Eminem bro😭😭
I watched several of their podcasts and he is indeed very subjective in his assessment of Eminem...
It's artistry he is not the best at it
He’s ass
I mean Cudi did do one drill song and Show Out was pretty fire
Fr
And piece of mind was pretty good too
Cube isn’t even close to Wayne lyrically. Why are they pretending Cube is better?
cause he made fuck the police
It's so bad how they always underrate danny brown and atrocity exhibition.
Coming in strong with the concepts in the new year. Much love guys!
Lil dicky can actually rap tho. Sure he plays around alot but bro can actually spit. They fried for there picks on that category
I actually used to listen to dicky .. he can rap. So he’s the best rapper here
Kid Cudi and Skepta already have 2 songs together and their both great
@ 26:42, I can't belive Ant said, "What would the human race be without Dababy".🥺
Being from England it’s always so sick to see you give skepta his flowers, truly one of the 🐐of the UK music scene
They should of put Giggs up there he has more albums than Skepta and he has mixtapes too which skepta don’t have any mixtapes and Giggs music is harder and Talking The Hardest is the U.K. anthem and Giggs has worked with Drake and Pressa who are Canadian and a whole bunch of American artists more than Skepta and people in the U.K. be saying Jheeze thanks to Hollowman Giggs influence on the U.K. rap scene too bad Giggs never gets his flowers as much as I like Skepta I do think that’s the easy American choice coz they don’t really know U.K. rap
Wayne is number 1. Ridiculous that he was even mentioned
Yuno Miles is unironically the best rapper in that lineup because his “bad songs” are hilarious and memorable and he’s in on the joke, but when he isn’t joking around he actually makes really good music.
HAVE to do more of these !
Yall's debate proves to be hilarious, especially when Ant tries to get his argument across 🤣
That exclusive content y'all got me trippin🤤🤤🤭
buddy took eminem off the best rapper list lmao
Based af
Eminem was the most logical option to kick off. Most corny albums, least versatile. Eminem is super overrated tbh.
@@yasssssok7319If we go purely off rapping ability though, Em washes Kanye. And I love Ice Cube but his flow is more or less the same in a massive portion of his songs.
Kanye and Ice Cube would be my picks.
@@lukefitton7329 ehhh Ye is a much better artist though. Eminem is just incredibly overrated tbh. If I want to listen to a great rapper/lyricist, I'd rather listen to any Roots album tbh. Black Thought is much better in almost every facet than Eminem.
@@yasssssok7319 I agree with all of that, I just feel as if Eminem beats Kanye as a ‘rapper’ strictly.
Black Thought > Eminem though no argument there.
The eminem hate is crazy
Yeah they think Wayne is a better rapper....
@@Maidenintime86 wayne is good and all but em's music is more memorable and just better
@@danj7621true
@@Anthonycheesman33 bruv go and joke somewhere else
@@Anthonycheesman33 Eminem's career is better than both 2pac and Biggie no doubt
"I bet choosing the two worst rappers would be a difficult and interesting conversation"
-Top 50 list
their sarcasm on a whole diff level💀 deadddd😂, regardless, amazing content
Amazing video, as always 👏
they always put in ice spice for the memes😭
this is cringe tbh
W Lu for giving RAM the love it deserves!!!
We need more videos like this
Yuno Miles needs to make a serious record, I know he's been cookin one up for a while trust
do you think you guys could ever do a list of the top rap "artists" in general not just mainly lyrics?
Uzi Doja and Cudi on the group one makes the most sense. Not my favorites but I could actually see them meshing perfectly
Really waitin' on that Top 50 Rap albums vid
W it’s in the works 2024
Of all time? Damn
Choosing Cube over Wayne is crazy
If ur saying this u prolly haven’t listened to Wayne cube doesn’t compete to him at all. Wayne is consistently put into top 10 cube isn’t even talked about til top 25
@@internetytshorts6719he’s using they chose cube to stay over Wayne lyrically
Chosing any of them over Kanye is just complete ignorance of rapping
@@Mamba4.8 Kanye don’t even write his shit
for the group, i’m lowkey going with vince pusha and ski. vince and pusha brings in that calm flowing rap good punchlines, and ski mask is very versatile realistically, and very very underrated lyrically, his adlibs are catchy and his flow is one of the most unique ones out there, I like those 3
"Whoa buddy!" -Lu 12:08 😂💀
Have you guys heard of non phixion or Jedi mind tricks there pretty underground just an idea for 2 new rappers you can do a video on
2017 is one of the best years for rap in awhile tbh
No i think 2018 was the golden year of modern hiphop, we got Drake, we got Travis we got BETTER Eminem album, we got Pusha T's best album, we got swimmings, we got best modern rap beef, We got Cole's KOD, we got JID's DiCaprio 2, we got Royce da 5'9's best album to date which is The Book of Ryan and we got X's last album alive, introduced to Juice WRLD AND WE GOT KANYE AND LIL PUMP FFS!!! Last one was joke but try to top that with your 2017... cuz my list goes on i think 2018 washes.
Yeah there were so many great albums that year! Kendrick, Jay-Z, Big Krit
@kallesoininen557 exactly bro. 2018 was goated.
Plus we got TABOO, Kids See Ghosts, Ye, Swimming, Some Rap Songs, Care for Me. Shit man the list goes on
hell no
2018 >
Yo bouncing 2017 is wild. Flower Boy, Damn, the entire Saturation trilogy. AABA. 4eva is a mighty long time. 4:44. Culture. Never Story. Honestly i think it's the best year for Hip-Hop in like the last 20 years or so.
I say cut 99 and 2013
That's a weak ass year
@@kingkiser522022 was way better
ant sold me fentanyl outside the walmart this morning
Idk if you will respond, but Skepta and Cudi are already on a song. Pop Out, and it's a drill beat so i was thinking the same thing
I will forever be surprised with how much two love Get Rich or Die trying by 50 Cent
why would you be surprised? its a near perfect album
Yeah, it's not a great album. It was fun at the time, but you can tell they didn't grow up with it and just look back at it with rose-colored glasses.
FINALLY YOU GUYS TALKED ABOUT RADIOHEAD
That Elvis take is wild
No it’s not dude straight up just stole from black artists and took the credit on multiple occasions dude deserves to be forgotten
He didn't even write his own songs lol.
no one is listening to elvis' discography start to finish in 2024 bro. a lot of his media attention came from him as a performer too, not just as a musician. he ripped off a ton of other artists and went mainstream because of that. influential but everyone who came after him is way better
All facts, though.
@@rhocloudsI know tons of white people who listen to Elvis dude. Stop making stuff up dude, and his streaming numbers keeps him bumping shoulders with 2Pac, Alicia Keys, and the Notorious BIG. Now you're capping
wayne over black thought is crazy ngl
Overall or lyrically ?
@@Beezy_420everything. Lyrically, rapping, catalog, and as an artist. Black Thought is better.
He's the best rapper up there outside Nas
Kanye should been first name to go. He's a weak rapper. Production is what makes anything from Kanye good
@@Mamba4.8 nah Wayne overall and career wise, Thiught is better lyrically tho
Frank Ocean & Lauryn Hill is a BIG W!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
for audio listeners could you list the rappers your choosing between before doing so
Ascension? Like I love that song and it was so different for that time and his ft run after he definitely so fucking diverse way more diverse than skepta respectfully and tbh id probably even put them in as a group with push or even like keef, push, YB... And for reasons bc Ye has made masterpieces with younger artist and push was just there so I feel it definitely isn't even that bad of a collab and pusha isn't the most diverse by he still is kinda just it wasn't that good or hasn't shown enough seems he was also scrapped from Cudi album rip but those my 2 teams tbh
Yunomiles actually does rap, he also is money miles, where he actually raps
The way I whipped it out-
Lauren Hill dropping a new album would be like when Harper Lee decided to drop a follow up for To Kill A Mockingbird. Didn't taint the legacy but certainly didn't add anything to it.
Also, for worst year in music, 2008 should have definitely been an option. I guess if you look at super niche stuff almost every year has the same level of quality... but MAN was the mainstream (especially for rap) insanely mid in 2008.
they tried to include all of the good years so it would be harder to choose
You must not know about Hollowmans Walk In Da Park
@@bretwojarski5842 Can you elaborate? I’m curious
Have you NFR guys listened to Juice WRLD's new track "Lace It" with Em?
how are you both getting rid of atrocity exhibition💀
Off the Rip Jay Z is the 1st name I’m immediately taking off. The other was tough to decide & could definitely change but I’d go Ice Cube but again, that is no easy choice.
Kickin out em is Tha 1st step to the right answer
That Wayne take at the beginning is wild
1. Black Thought and Ice Cube
2. Nav and Lil Dicky
3. I’m not an old head rly so can’t comment
4. JID, Carti, and Keem
5. Pusha, Cudi, Skepta
6. Frank Ocean and Dre (pls 🙏)
7. Daft Punk and Atrocity Exhibition
8. Rakim and Elvis
Atrocity Exhibition>GRODT, argue with the wall, I said what I said
Ur right tho, atrocity is a top 10 hip hop albums of the 2010s and get rich is one of the most overated of all time
For the dominate the 2020’s, I got Yeat, Ken, and Keem. Yeat bc his popularity has only grown since Up 2 Me, Keem because of the family ties(pun intended)with Kendrick, and Melodic Blue was really good, and finally, Ken’s new album A Great Chaos had more streams than offsets new album, and has gotten so much praise. I could be wrong, but this is my list.
agc was ass
@@Killua-xr4ro nah its hard
@@Killua-xr4ro Bro you just trynna be dumb. It got a higher rating that Taylor Swifts new album
The first one is basically my top 10 lmao
W
I need More of this
Pusha, Sosa, and Ski Mask are cooking
IS Lil Pump BETTER THAN 6ix9ine THO?!?!?! 🤔🤨
Putting Tom Macdonald above Kanye West was an interesting decision at the end, but this vid was lit🔥
I understand how you maybe heard too much 21 lately but he's fucking dominating and will continue to do how could you deny that after Rich Flex, Glock In My Lap and features on Creepin and Jimmy Cooks.
He's trash
omg the top 50 list glazing is ridiculous ant cant think of anything else like pull out of it😭😭😭
Love the vids
Thank you!
14:33 bro almost became a producer tag
xd
Saying vince is t high energy is wild when FM, big fish theory and summertime 06 exist
What’s the name of the similar video that y’all did that had Drake and 50 Cent instead?
Yuno Miles should be on the first graphic
Man on the moon was the 3rd best album on that list besides Amy and Kendrick bro, if you listen to the album again you'll agree.
I’m sorry but have never liked Playboi Carti and I have never found his music to be “intriguing or unique” at all. I’m not some old head who hates him because he’s not lyrical or anything, I just truly do not see the appeal to his music. Rap is my favorite genre and guys like Travis Scott and Lil Uzi are among my favorite rappers, but Cartis music just sounds so stupid and lazy that i physically can’t enjoy it, I was bewildered to see y’all claim his feature on earthquake was a lock. The whole feature is only 15 seconds and it is literal gibberish with a very basic flow and a childish voice. Maybe I’m crazy but I just think he’s a terrible artist and amazes me that he has such a large fanbase
Cus he is uniq
Why did they do NAV like that in round 2 😭
11:33 ayo what did bro say 😭
5:35 u guys totally dropped the ball lil dicky is literally thee best rapper in that list and the best lyricist
what im sayin
I lost them when they said Eminem is one of the worst...🤦♀
I really wanna know Fantano's thoughts on this.
Thanks for tha video
Put 'Non-trap artist to make a trap album' as a category next time!
Skepta, Push and Vince Staples would be such a banger of a group
Lil Uzi , Ski Mask and Doja Cat would be a crazy group!! Surprised nobody said that
Okay look 2017 is out of the question the best year apart from 94' and flower boy is my favourite Tyler album and the most impactful for me
Eliminating 2017 is insane:
Damn, 4:44, Flower boy, Big Fish Theory, Ctrl, Culture 1, Melodrama, Process, Freudian, More Life, HNDRXX, Laiala’s Wisdom, Lust for Life, Drunk, After Laughter etc. it’s up there near best for me.
and u ain't even get to without warning, war and leisure, all 3 saturations, beautiful thugger girls, future and carti's self titled tapes, LIR2, a crow looked at me etc. easy lock for t3 year of the 2010s
tell me ski, uzi & cudi wouldnt be a fire trio. especially with how ski has great vocal range (sing like so high and rap like nuketown) likewise with cudi who's a known big drop on collabs, having uzi on there too with the experimental lane that hes going down with pink tape would create something magical.
The disrespect to a lot is wild
Such a W for keeping Freddie Gibbs
the Eminem slander is just trash at this point. stop it guys you can't knock him everytime with same 2nd half catalogue as epathy of argument.
Em from 99to2003 was legit great
Even now he clears most of rappers...@@saqib7965
@@saqib7965 Boring sheep opinion
yuno miles unironically probably the best in his division, I mean id take comedy over lil xan or tom mcdonald or pretty much anyone else show in that divison💀
A Jay-Z Lauren Hill album would be incredible
it's such a shame that lauryn never released another album in general after making one of the best and most influential r&b/hip-hip records ever. people just did not support or encourage her enough
@@rhoclouds It’s crazy she dropped one of the best albums of all time and never really dropped again
Russel Westbrook On a Farm alone puts Dicky over everyone in that 2nd graphic if we're being honest
Kicking cube out means you don't really know his discography.... not one person on this list can hold a candle to his controversial songs he created on albums, not just singles .... Just the song "My Summer Vacation" is enough to make everyone on the list bow down... no pun intended! America's Most Wanted, Kill At Will EP, Death Certificate, The Predator, Leathol Injection, War And Peace Vol 1 And 2.... That right there is enough said... Yes, Smile Now Cry Later, Raw Footage, I Am The West and recent albums aren't his old Cube demeanor but still slap for someone doing it this long... straight dispeect to A Pioneer, Lyricist, Trend Setter...
Cube is the least lyrical on here besides Kanye and he didn’t stay as relevant long as the others
not including Denzel in 2020s is a crime
1. Ice Cube & Black Thought
2. NAV and Lil Pump
3. Idk half the songs
4. JID, Carti, and Keem
5. Push, Skepta, and Cudi
6. Frank Ocean & JAY-Z
7. Only heard GRODT, TPAB, and MOTM
8. Idfk
9. Carti & Wiz
My picks from each grid:
Black Thoughts and André 3000 (both are amazing though)
Lil Dicky and Lil Pump
So Fresh, So Clean, Hail Mary, and Hate It or Love It
Playboi Carti, 21 Savage, and Ice Spice
Pusha T, Chief Keef, and Kid Cudi
Rihanna and JAY-Z
Doggystyle and Atrocity Exhibition
Rakim and James Brown
1994 and 1996
Playboi Carti on EARFQUAKE and DaBaby on Under the Sun
Eminem take at the beginning is crazy😂
Bruh there is no way in the first 1:30 you said Wayne is the second one out on lyricism. My god man. It’s Kanye and Cube. Wayne isn’t even a thought, and I’m not even the biggest Wayne fan
Kanye over em is crazy
Cheif keef, lil uzi vert, and ski mask would work pretty well in my mind
18:23 the Fugees have 2 albums mate. The first one is weak but you can’t just bush it like that 😂
Pusha T Nba and Doja is a furious trio
U should do if blank artist was on blank song
1 Cube and Ye. Ye has such an amazing discography, production - but I don't enjoy his presence on mic that much. Prime Cube was unstoppable but unfortunately he didn't got the longetivity and pursued the acting career more. But Raw Footage still pretty decent album.
2 NAV and Lil Pump
3 Ric Flair Drip, RNP and A Lot. I'm just stuck in the 90's and 00's I think.
4 JID, Playboi Carti and Yeat
5 Pusha T and Vince Staples will compliment their styles so well I think. I'm taking Doja Cat for her versatility, flow, hooks and the fact that she's from the west like Vince.
