for the group, i’m lowkey going with vince pusha and ski. vince and pusha brings in that calm flowing rap good punchlines, and ski mask is very versatile realistically, and very very underrated lyrically, his adlibs are catchy and his flow is one of the most unique ones out there, I like those 3
1 Cube and Ye. Ye has such an amazing discography, production - but I don't enjoy his presence on mic that much. Prime Cube was unstoppable but unfortunately he didn't got the longetivity and pursued the acting career more. Okay guys, lets be real, i love the podcast and agree on mostly everything. But removing the best 3 album run from a top artist list is completely NUTS. Lemme make my argument: Without Eminem, only 20% of current Hip Hop fans would exist worlwide. Without em we wouldn't have 50 Cent or almost all the hits in Europe.... therefore, pure artistry, he has to be up there. Black tought is a contested pick, but still guys like Jay Z and Black tought (even Wayne) are, in the eyes of europeans, asians and others nowhere near Eminem the GOAT. Stan me all you want, this guy needs to be up there. Stillll loooooove the podcast, keep going pleaseee
Exactly my reaction when they put him in the worst two, like Eminem clears black thought and then contests with ice cube, Lil Wayne and André 3000 (which in my opinion he clears).

Removing Black Thought is crazy dawg. Black Thought is better than Eminem as a straight lyricist and artist. EDIT: Shout out to Lu for removing the correct artists.
Na I'm sorry but Eminem is not worse, like I mean think about everything he has done for music as a whole and even songs like Godzilla and rap god really show his potential. I know this is a bad comparison but Black Thought doesn't even have 1 million monthly listeners when Eminem is hitting in the 70 millions. Also like some of his songs like stan and the lyrics in the song go unnoticed, while I get that Eminem is definitely not at his peak right now, overall his career has had a massive impact on rap. I just think that because his peak was around 15 years ago he is being forgotten but in my opinion he shouldn't be on the worst two rappers there🤷♂
@@lukestrydom5979 I get it, but Eminem falling out of his prime SO RAPIDLY is crazy. Also, the fact that it occurred BECAUSE he stopped following the wild slim shady character really shows that he is more of a one-note rapper. Black Thought on the other hand is just a crazy diverse rapper, and definitely a better lyricist than Em (If you've listened to both extensively, you'd know that). Not to mention Black thought is at least on the same level technically than Em. While he can't rap as fast as Em, Thought has absurd breathe control and rhyme schemes to the point where he at least matches him, and in my opinion, surpasses him. Finally, Black Thought is a better concept rapper. Eminem has shown glimpses of being an amazing concept rapper like Guilty Conscience and Stan, but Black Thought has one of the best concept albums OF ALL TIME in undun. So, while I respect your take, I really cannot keep Eminem in this lineup. And, honestly, I can argue that Eminem is better than Lil Wayne, so I'm perfectly fine with removing Ice Cube and Lil Wayne instead due to both of them also having short peaks and large fall-offs just like Eminem, but worse overall primes as artists (in my opinion).
@@peamut547 No I agree that makes sense, and I'm not going to act like I have listened to Black Thought a lot but I feel like if I did I would be able to agree. But also he didn't fall out of his prime as rapidly as you think because on the album Music to be Murdered by, one of his more recent ones, he still manages to get a song that hits 1 billion streams. Although since then he has not made any notable hits, but there still seems to be a fuck ton of people that listen to his older music because of the fact he has 70 million monthly listeners
If Eminem stopped in 2010 he would’ve been the greatest of all time with an almost flawless discography Now he dropped revival, kamikaze, mtmb, and tdoss which aren’t the best

What point does this prove though? I’m confused. And is it a hot take to say The Roots and Thought’s solo stuff has been more consistent than Em’s catalogue?
The roots are one of my favorite hiphop acts of all time. How I Got Over is probably my favorite hiphop album of all time. Just because you don't listen to Black Thought regularly doesn't mean that others don't lol. Also, saying he doesn't have the catalog to contest is WILD. Illadelph Halflife, Things Fall Apart, Do You Want More, How I Got Over, Undun, Phrenology, etc. all classics.
@@yasssssok7319 Can't forget about Game Theory. Easily in my top 3 for The Roots. Not to mention the Streams of Thought series, Cheat Codes, and the latest collab with El Michels Affair. Bro is nuts and has only gotten better.
@@yasssssok7319 I'd say I get the same enjoyment out of both? They each make high quality records in unique ways. why would you be surprised? its a near perfect album
Yeah, it's not a great album. It was fun at the time, but you can tell they didn't grow up with it and just look back at it with rose-colored glasses.
5:35 u guys totally dropped the ball lil dicky is literally thee best rapper in that list and the best lyricist
what im sayin
I lost them when they said Eminem is one of the worst...🤦♀
Pusha, Sosa, and Ski Mask are cooking
We need more videos like this
1. Ice Cube & Black Thought
2. NAV and Lil Pump
3. Idk half the songs
4. JID, Carti, and Keem
5. Push, Skepta, and Cudi
6. Frank Ocean & JAY-Z
7. Only heard GRODT, TPAB, and MOTM
8. Idfk
9. Carti & Wiz
Also, for worst year in music, 2008 should have definitely been an option. I guess if you look at super niche stuff almost every year has the same level of quality... but MAN was the mainstream (especially for rap) insanely mid in 2008.
they tried to include all of the good years so it would be harder to choose
You must not know about Hollowmans Walk In Da Park
@@bretwojarski5842 Can you elaborate? I’m curious
for the group, i’m lowkey going with vince pusha and ski. vince and pusha brings in that calm flowing rap good punchlines, and ski mask is very versatile realistically, and very very underrated lyrically, his adlibs are catchy and his flow is one of the most unique ones out there, I like those 3
1 Cube and Ye. Ye has such an amazing discography, production - but I don't enjoy his presence on mic that much. Prime Cube was unstoppable but unfortunately he didn't got the longetivity and pursued the acting career more. But Raw Footage still pretty decent album.
2 NAV and Lil Pump
3 Ric Flair Drip, RNP and A Lot. I'm just stuck in the 90's and 00's I think.
4 JID, Playboi Carti and Yeat
5 Pusha T and Vince Staples will compliment their styles so well I think. I'm taking Doja Cat for her versatility, flow, hooks and the fact that she's from the west like Vince.
HAVE to do more of these !
yuno miles unironically probably the best in his division, I mean id take comedy over lil xan or tom mcdonald or pretty much anyone else show in that divison💀
Yuno Miles should be on the first graphic
IS Lil Pump BETTER THAN 6ix9ine THO?!?!?! 🤔🤨
No he is definitely not
They are crazy
Putting Tom Macdonald above Kanye West was an interesting decision at the end, but this vid was lit🔥
Pusha T, Chief Keef, and Ski Mask. Ski mask hasn’t done much recently but he has so much potential and I think the 3 could make a super unique album
Off the Rip Jay Z is the 1st name I’m immediately taking off. The other was tough to decide & could definitely change but I’d go Ice Cube but again, that is no easy choice.
You guys come off as Eminem haters or something along those lines, having Wayne above him when it comes to who is the better rapper is crazy, I don't care if you like Wayne's music better, that's not the point, we talking from a technical point of view, there's no way Wayne is better, Eminem has some really intricate flows and shit like that, don't get me wrong, Wayne is great, but Em is better as a rapper, not talking about the whole package though.
Eminem used to be better than Lil Wayne, but just anymore. Em is still better than Kanye & Cube easily tho as a lyricist tho
The group between Lil Uzi Vert,Chief Keef and Kid Cudi would be heat
3 stacks and black thought gotta go for that first set
Every rapper on the second slide is garbaj
RNP & 93 never heard either. Gotta go & HOE
4th slide: Not baby keem unless Kendrick takes rap serious. Or the 2 in the bottom corner
Slide 5: Sosa Vince and YB
Amy Winehouse gotta go. Y’all gotta pick a clear lane
1-Eminem and Ice Cube
2-Yuno Miles and Nav
3-Ric flair drip, Hate it or love it, RNP
4-JID, Keem, Carti
5-Vince, Cudi, Uzi
6-Frank and Jay-Z
7-Amy Winehouse and doggystyle
8-Elvis and Eminem
9-2013 and 2015
10-Tory lanes and Wiz
Kicking out Eminem is Criminal
So is kicking out Black Thought.
No it's not he's easily the worst there.
Black Thought is better than Eminem, objectively. Eminem has the most corny/cringe material on this list.
@@yasssssok7319 Black Thought definitely has the better catalogue and is an amazing lyricist and rapper. On skill level alone, Eminem is up there, easily. But objectively, BT has to be better.
@@virajdeshpande3701 Agreed. I'd rather listen to almost any roots album than any Em album. Give me 'Do You Want More', 'Illadelph Halflife', 'How I Got Over', 'Undun', 'Things Fall Apart', 'Phrenology' over any Em album.
For dominating the 2020s i feel like yeat has a chance lu counted him out too fast. Personally i think carti will have a fall off bc he dont care abt his fans and he dosent drop. Yeat is evolving his style and constantly dropping better music and 2093 was his best album and i ahve that above most carti albums
Uzi, YB, and Chief Keef as a group would go braaaazy. All of them have experience on slower sing-songy tracks and also quick-tempo stuff. I think a rotation of them would be very fun.

Exactly my reaction when they put him in the worst two, like Eminem clears black thought and then contests with ice cube, Lil Wayne and André 3000 (which in my opinion he clears).
yikes lol
Bro just argued Eminem for his influence and then said for pure artistry 💀
@yasssssok7319 bro u r s certified hater I have seen u in every comment hating at this point. I don't wanna start any unnecessary argument but, yikes
Lil xan and nav being absolute locks is such a W take
My takes
Round 1: Black Thought & Ice Cube
Round 2: NAV & Lil Pump
Round 3: 93 Til' Infinity / Hell On Earth / Hail Mary
Round 4: Ice Spice, Playboi Carti & Ken Carson
Round 5: Skepta, Pusha T & Vince Staples
Round 6: Frank Ocean & Rihanna
Round 7: Atrocity Exhibition & It Was Written
Round 8: Elvis Presley & Rakim
Round 9: 1996 & 1999
Round 10: Tory Lanez (Litty) & Wiz Khalifa (Breath Control)
W for most of these takes. Personally I would have to disagree with round 4, which could be either jid, baby keem, 21 savage or ice spice. I would also disagree with round 9, which I know one year is a lock to remove is 2017

Eminem over Elvis Presley has to be the worst music take of the year already and we're in January

Without Eminem HipHop would have maybe 30% of fans it has today...
@@projektyo.p.5311 Sure but Elvis had so much influence that it's impossible to predict what would music look like today if not for him. And not just rock and roll, many genres.
True, but they sold mainly in the US. Before Eminem people in Europe and the rest of the world had no idea what Hip Hop was@@secondary479
I agree that Elvis had a great influence on music, but no less than Eminem.
Number of artists (including those outside Hip Hop) declare that they were inspired by him. And believe me, people in Europe (and around the world) had no idea what hip hop was before Eminem.
Honestly, I wouldn't erase the careers of any of these greats, because I'm sure that without any of them, music today would look completely different.@@whispers9344
Elvis is one of the most influential human beings of all time. Arguably more so than Micheal Jackson. Elvis is the a favourite musician of most of the most important acts of all time including the Beatles and MJ himself.
He also never claimed to invent Rock n Roll and often credited / performed with his song writers. The guy was a G
He just covered songs. Definitely not one of the most important acts of all time.
one of the most influential human beings of all time??? where did all of this elvis glaze come from
Removing Black Thought is crazy dawg.
Yeah, Black Though is so much better that he didn't achieve even 2% of what Eminem has achieved.... don't make me laugh bro.

If Eminem stopped in 2010 he would’ve been the greatest of all time with an almost flawless discography
Now he dropped revival, kamikaze, mtmb, and tdoss which aren’t the best
If Nas didn’t drop Nastradamus than he would have a flawless discography too.
People acting like they actually bump black thought on the regular, i get it, the guys insane on the mic but he just doesn't have the catalog to contest man. I swear ppl just pretend that their familiar bcuz every1 else says he's undisputedly good, ask some of these ppl to name 5 of his songs and they couldnt tell u
@@BigLBadman Yeah I get so much more enjoyment from a Roots record than an Eminem record.
@@yasssssok7319 I'd say I get the same enjoyment out of both? They each make high quality records in unique ways. Ice Cube & Eminem sounds about right
ice spice is not bigger than yeat. she’s a bigger celeb but when you look at actual numbers yeat had over 600M more streams on spotify last year than ice spice. ice spice’s sound is going out of style and yeat’s sound is up and coming. i love JID, but we’ve been saying every year since 2017 that he was next up, and even though hes put out great music and built up a solid fanbase, he’s never reached the cole-kendrick heights that we said he would. with the success of surround sound and the upcoming metro album i think itll be his biggest year yet, but he’s not gonna dominate the decade. baby keem has been handed everything from kendrick, and same as jid i dont think he’ll reach the heights people think he will. gunna’s had a hot year but it’s still gonna be hard for him to fully dominate while being mostly blackballed. my picks are carti, yeat, and maybe either ken lone or 21
How many songs did yeat drop vs how many did ice spice drop
