    Clarification! This was recorded at the end of 2022! So when I say “The best vehicle I’ve driven all year” I mean 2022…not 2023. Happy New Year 🎉🎉

    Truly social / family car! 😎
    No wonder that was in top 5 of best-selling premium SUVs in China in November.

    Your channel is by far the best way for people outside of China to learn about Chinese cars, it’s way better than any articles on websites and with far more information. Also very well edited 👍🏼

    Awesome review. This SUV has quite a few interesting features. And, yeah, I don’t mind that it’s an extended range EV. It’s another thing that makes it awesome.

    I know you have driven this car in 2022.
    But it's a bit funny when you say it's probably the best vehicle you driven all year.. In the first days of 2023 😅
    Anyway good video 👍

      Not yet. Been assured it's on the list of things to do, but right now focus is on pushing out UI improvements for the majority...who are Chinese lol.

    Wish they sold this outside of China, also wish they'd offer a less premium version

      Well they don’t have a Pro L9 and Max L9. But they do have a Pro & Max L8 which is very close to the Li L9

      From what we understand, right now English UI is not available but it is supposedly coming. Exactly when? We aren’t quite sure!

    I personally feel like that this car has too many generic gimmicks. Why limit yourself on soon to be obsolete in car hardware, while you can just have external devices do everything? I fail to see proper flagship tech with Li L9. It's a crowd pleaser for now but I expect it to age like milk tbh. Also, I know this video is focused on the infotainment and comfort, but its poor efficiency, driving dynamics and the fact that it is not fully an EV is a major dealbreaker. I would also like to know how reliable this model is knowing that Li Auto has struggled with reliability before. How does this compare to the new NIO ES8? Would be awesome if you do an in-depth comparison when It's available :)))

    • @NiejakiDD
      @NiejakiDD Рік тому +2

      Some features are indeed over the top, but hey, this is premium SUV for premium clients - money is not deciding factor... Besides, Li L9 is not a sport/ performance car, but a family SUV, so the comfort and practicality for all passengers are most important. But wait a minute - 5,6 sec to 100km/h is a great result, to reason to complain.

      Li L9 in comparison with ES8 is l9 have no range anxiety ,ES8 is pure EV , when someone bought 6 seats full size SUV ,they have demand of long distance road trip , when you go to some place in deep mountain area you can't find charge . simple. and Li L9 sell 9035 in NOV 2022.ES8 only 705 ,you can see what the consumer want

      sales volume in Dec are comming Li L9 sell over 10k ES8 below 1k. full sive suv pure EV are jork

      @stefanospap6288 Рік тому

      @@xiaoyang9758 ES8 has sold in total more than Li L9 though. It's an older product. New ES8 isn't starting deliveries yet. There are also more NIO users than Li auto users. What range anxiety are you talking about? NIO has the best charging infra there is.

    • @xiaoyang9758
      @xiaoyang9758 Рік тому

      @@stefanospap6288 L9 sell only 4 months ,ES8 sell more then 3 years, how absurd you can compar those two in total sell. when someone in rural area with no charge infra pure EV are jork . you talk about beijing shanghai guangzhou .in my city NIO have only 3 swap station 18km from my house ,and 4 in expressway in the province which is 320000 square kilometers i live. so i will chose L9 any problem with that.
