Time to finish the shop addition. two bedrooms, a loft and a bathroom! With an ongoing issues with fencing I decided to use my DJI FPV drone to push someone else's cows off our land and it works great!

We had that problem. Put a feeder low at the door to the shop so that the bird can see it from up high. They will fly down low to get a drink and see the way out.
Can't wait to see how you decorate the two rooms upstairs Cedar.
My veterinary opinion: Hummingbirds expend lots of energy every minute they are in the shop trying to find an exit. They need to constantly eat. Without food they become hypoglycemic. Hypoglycemia is quickly corrected when they consume a little sugar water. It is amazing to watch how fast they go from nearly dead to normal.

Ya'll did a fabulous job with the shop apartments and bath, hats off! The peel and stick carpet is what I grew up with in Wisconsin in the 60's. Funny how time regresses with certain things..😂😅 The fence that the cows use to your property shouldn't be repaired, watching you herd cows with the drone is neat. Love ya'll ❤️

The deer pen has no grazing at all. You will need to add another pasture/pen so they can alternate between.

Be careful not to leave anything red exposed on the shop floor, like a gas can. The hummingbirds are drawn inside to it and then can''t find their way out.
I think my first priority would be to fix that portion of fence to solve that problem once and for all

Rescuing those hummingbirds reminds me of one I did. Many years ago, I used to go to a large bulk steel distributor to oil change service their forklifts. It was a huge warehouse with indoor loading areas on each end of the building. Just inside the door where the semis ran through were a tangle of cobwebs in the corner. Unfortunately, one day I saw some hummingbirds tangled in the webs. One was just low enough I could reach and I pulled it out. It was still alive. I laid it on the big box fan by the break area. It slept for several minutes then took off like a shot.
Now you need a good projector for movie nights. in the loft. Private theatre seats popcorn maker and a soda foutain.the wall is straight enough

One thing I'd like to suggest is that it would've been much brighter loft if you've added another window next to that window in the loft!
And also on the other side that faces the bedroom door.
Imagine how that whole side is a big window where you can see nature and the deers running.
That would have a stunning view!!
Something to consider as a future plan!

Heath the hummingbirds go into a state called torpor. Basically their metabolism slows down when too cold or too hot. It’s their design to conserve energy. So glad you revived I’m. ☺️love love love your hummingbirds!!!
add some blackout curtains to the loft and turn it into a home theater. it wold be great for movies or games.

Bathroom looks great! My only suggestion to you is replace the shower curtain rod with an actual threaded pipe (I use gas pipe) with a flange on each end to mount it. It makes it a whole lot stronger and if anyone needs to grab something to steady themselves in the shower it is very secure. It also eliminates the annoying middle skip where the two parts slide over each other.

I watch your videos since I believe 2017 with my husband and kids. We love your videos and have a saying, "would Red Poppy do it this way" and try to live by your great example. We have moved from California to Tennessee and we are loving it here. We almost decide to move to Idaho, but found a place with a tiny bit of land for my hens that wasn't to expenses in TN. Tell Cedar I love her hens and she inspired me to get some.

Gidday mate, here in the NZ hill country beef farmers have been using drones to muster there cows and calf, they find that the cows don't get so upset as when they use there dogs. It's fun too watch to.

You can probably play those sounds that Cows need to hear (if your Drone has a Speaker) to make the job of herding them more affective.

you should put fold away bunks up there and make it a air conditioned play room for the kids, so when they have a sleep over they have a place... and add a intercom so they can talk to the adults if there is an issue

Unfortunately, WE are our OWN worst enemy where debt is concerned. The odds are stacked against us when we don’t have the guts NOT to purchase, or in other words, live within our means. We are afraid NOT to keep up with the Joneses. I do NOT keep up with the Joneses, but I have no one else to blame but me. If you’re invited to partake in credit cards, chances are you will. Sorry, but credit cards are there and very inviting but it is up to you NOT to participate. Remember, if they don’t have an audience, they don’t have a show. Relative to anything.

Looking great, honey do list getting shorter. Furniture some plants guests well looked after. Just insulation in shop before winter, and only other thing I recall is siding on gable end of the shop. Sure not much left to do.😊😊😊 Not huge pile of unfinished projects these days...😂😂😂
