Yes! a video on all of the flies you saw and the matches you used would be exciting to see... Looking forward to it, as I have to seeing these you've done.... Thanks!
Another fantastic video Haley! Fishing in the dark can be fun, but frustrating too......😂 i love to see more about the different insects. It,s very intresting to compare it with what we have here i Norway 👍😃 what you called "The green drake".....is that Baetis Rhodani ????
Thank you so much! It is definitely frustrating sometimes. I usually only get a handful of casts out in the dark before I get my backcast caught in a tree HAHA. I'll definitely start pulling together all of my bug & fly clips for a video! Our "green drakes" are Ephemera Guttulata - I think they are exclusive to eastern North America but I'm not positive. They're one of our biggest mayflies - usually hook size 10 or 8.
@@HaleontheHunt cool to hear…..Our biggest mayfly is Ephemera Vulgata ( stillwater) and Ephemera Danica ( in running water) They are in the same size as yours…..Love to learn more about this👍😁
Hi. Great video. I've only been fly fishing for about a year, mainly in UK lakes. It's all going well, but I do need to think more for myself about fly selection, so any advice you can offer about bugs and their imitations would really be appreciated.

I think it’s always great to see what flies people use to match the bugs in the river.
I'll work on a video of all our bugs and flies!

Thanks so much!!
