- Mango Park Police Officer Dean White gets a new assignment from Captain Porter. His mission is to arrest a woman who has been caught shoplifting all over town. However, there is one major problem for Officer White. The suspect in question just so happens to be his own mother! Now, he must decide what to do with his renegade mom while Captain Porter is hot on the chase.

Do her a favor and teach her a lesson she needs to lead an example for you, hiding her it’s worse than doing your job. Because you can get fired and have a criminal record for hiding your mother from the law and you can get arrested for hiding a suspect.

No one is above the law, Dean should have remembered that when you're a police officer, you're under oath to arrest anyone who breaks the law, even members of your own family. Hopefully he was arrested later for aiding and abetting a criminal. As for Dean's mom if she didn't want to be arrested, she shouldn't have shoplifted in the first place.

My mom and dad would’ve had me arrested if I was caught stealing from the store 🏬. Why? Because I’m not above the law because I’m family of any kind of law enforcement. Family should never expect special treatment for anything law enforcement or not.

If I was Captain James Porter, I would arrest both because the cop is aiding and abetting a criminal.
Being a police officer is never an easy job, sometimes they have to do things that could put them in a very awkward situation.

Captain James Porter took Dean's mom to the police station and booked her for shoplifting, she was sentenced to one year in prison plus had to pay a maximum fine of $4,000, Dean feels guilty and embarrassed about the mission he was offered, He now understands about a police officer's job to uphold the law no matter what. Especially his own mother who is a wanted woman.

I know that blocking people is mean and rude. But there are times when even someone you love breaks the law, you have to arrest the person even if it is someone you love. The reason why is that your taxpayers are counting on you to do your job right. Protecting the suspect is no joking matter.

I don't feel bad for him. He set himself up for failure. He should have told his mom to stay in her room once he heard a knock, he could have answered the phone and said he got away. He didn't have to let Porter into his house without a warrant (the same excuse he was gonna use for why he couldn't make the arrest)
