- Lisa is having problems with her tenant George, who hasn't paid rent in months. Finally, Lisa decides she has no other choice, and serves George with an eviction notice. Despite this, he refuses to pay her what she is owed and also refuses to leave. Lisa is forced to call the Mango Park Police Department to help her resolve this matter. When Sgt. Mike Green arrives on the scene and helps Lisa once and for all dispose of this awful tenant.

A real eviction notice states that a tenant needs 30-60 days for the tenant to move because the tenant would need time to vacate the building.

Actually, it doesn't, although you're correct that a real eviction looks nothing like what was shown in this video. The problem is that most of a real eviction isn't dramatic and doesn't lend itself well to a short video like this one. (One could easily make a half-hour or longer video on the process itself!) In reality, eviction is a multi-step process that consists of a lot of back-and-forth and serving papers, and it looks like it could take considerably longer than 60 days, depending on how busy the courts are. In a busy city like LA, a tenant who simply refuses to do what he's supposed to and is poor enough to be "judgement-proof" could probably live rent-free for 6 months or more with few consequences beyond inconvenience. The only really dramatic part of the real thing is if the sheriff ends up having to physically remove a non-compliant tenant, and my guess is that it's best for the landlord not to be present if that happens.
Also the sheriffs department has to post the notice, not the landlord.

On the bright side, Lisa can get a new tenant who WON'T take advantage of her and try to come up with every excuse not to pay rent, while invoking a law that was vetoed over a year ago.

I don't know how it is in the US, but in Europe and specifically Estonia, in such situations, you can send the debt to a debt collection company and go to court.
In the US, literally none of this would happen IRL.

He should have been evicted after the 1st month he didn't pay rent. He was trying to use a law from longer than a year ago. He called her a dog when he said she was barking at him. As the landlord she should've put something on the door handle to prevent entry into the apartment.
Landlords do give some kind of leeway depending on circumstance, but yeah you're right he should've since been evicted

I can’t believe the tenant made up a lie about his landlord just for personal gain when she has been nothing but good to him. She was such an awesome landlord and she gave him lots of chances and was super patient and kind to him.

cops have no legal powers in evicting a tenant. by law, the courts and bailiffs are the ones who can since its a civil matter

Honestly this guy made critical mistakes in not leaving the house.
1. He opened the door when police came and didnt even take the time to board up the doors and windows from the inside.
2. He said no to packing his bags and instead shouldve said yes but then close and lock the door and then start quickly boarding it up along with the windows
