Thanks! A lot of high pin count locks and Chinese locks have a ball bearing with a heavy spring that holds the core in place so that it stays centered and you can feel where it is supposed to be. For example when you lock your door and go to remove the key the ball bearing will click into place so that they key comes out with no problem.
