As far as I can remember the answer is yes but I'm not sure where mine is so I can't guarantee it. You would just have to change the combination until it is not between letters and it will work if it is possible.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the goat. I find that it tends to be too big for most locks, and it slips off a lot. If it does fit the lock you are working on, then great, you can use it. I agree that working around your hand can be a pain in the ass but there are ways to hold it so your hand is kinda out of the way. If you imagine turning a radio dial with your middle finger on top and your thumb on the bottom, then your hand is off to the left ( if you are right-handed ) and you can work in the space between. Let me know if you don't understand what I'm trying to say there. Also, apply semi heavy tension, and if you can't push any of the pins down, then lighten up on the tension a bit. At that point, just go around the circle poking each pin until you find one that's binding, push that one down until it clicks, and keep going. Eventually, all of the pins will be set, and the lock will turn.

@NothingPicksLocks Thanks again brother!! That's without a doubt the best explanation on how to go about picking or using tension I ha e ever gotten. Complete with a visual scenario to get it correct in my mind. Your the 1st person that has been smart enough to include that. Even when I have asked some of them for a comparison, the best 😂 I got was "yea like that".

Interesting thought, but the levers actually rest on the fence, which prevents them from dropping any lower. That piece on lever 6 doesn't actually contact all of the levers at rest. It lifts them up to where all of the gates align.

These tools will actually work on Ace 2 locks, as will most other tubular impressioning tools. Some can just be a bit fiddly, and it's easier to pick one pin at a time. You don't need a ton of pressure just enough to push the pins down pretty much the same as when using a key. The Turing force you use is more important, but again, it doesn't take a whole lot. The most important part is the resistance on the tool. Like with these, it would be how many rubber rings you put on or on other tools it's how much you tighten the collar. The best way to learn is just to get the feel for it by practicing.

I'm not 100% sure, I have a variety of sizes that I carry around, so I can just use whichever one fits the best. In my opinion, the best thing to do is just get a whole bunch of them ranging from 1/8" to 3/8" and just carry them in a bag with your pick. I also have made custom pick handles to hold the bigger and smaller ones, but I pick weird locks lol. On the high side, you may just want to find the biggest size that will fit in your tensioning handle and then go down from there and make a variety. They are super easy to make. I even carry unmodified roll pins in case I encounter something weird, and I have to file one down on the spot as well as tip blanks so I can make weird tips on the fly as well. Haha, I didn't plan on writing a book. Sorry for the long reply. I hope that helped a bit.

I can definitely try to get my hands on them to do a video on them, although the lock at the top and / or bottom would be the same as I showed in this video but the lock in the middle can be any mortise style cylinder that the building decides to put in there.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm sure you've gotten them open by now. This lock just happened to pick open counterclockwise easier than clockwise, so I just picked it ccw and used a plug flipper to open it. You absolutely do not have to pick it ccw. If I remember correctly, they only open when turned clockwise.

The jigglers for the wafer lock were just cheap jigglers from like Ali Express or something, but for the morise cylinder, that was a homemade tension tool with one of the ToooL wicked waves rakes.

You don't need to use the keys, you just take the screws out of the front cover. Unless I am misunderstanding what's going on.

Great job on the open. Unfortunately, it's hard to get keys for these because of the way the lock and key are made together, but it's a really cool process, so you should check it out if you are interested.

This should work on all tubular locks that the tool will fit in.
