Unions did not build the middle class. The networks of car manufacturers did, and unions helped. So we need both and that means taking down their ability to run to places that give them multimillion dollar payouts. that means innovation above all. Not unions above all.
Unions created basic labor rights/standards in the U.S. as a solid organization that’s main purpose was checking/balancing corporations with major labor disputes/discrepancies within our capitalistic society. Can’t just rely on the government to do that; look where it’s gotten us today currently. Laundering all of our tax money overseas to foreign countries/wars. You’ll see a rise in unions again after this!
