This man should run for president, clear all this filth we have all put up with for our entire adult lives. The only people not affected don't work anymore.
I saw that this strike is a moderate strike where they will shut down one part of the plant and it shuts down the end. Like engines or transmissions strike and it causes the plant to shut down and to pay those not on strike down the line and allows the union to pay for those that are on strike longer. They won't keep pumping out trucks for much longer.
What it boils down to is the corporations send cars and trucks to other countries for assembly, and still raise prices even though production cost are down. The People that 30+ years seniority only seen a 3% increase while inflation is damn near 15% in 2023 and the Cumulative price change when compared to 40 years ago is 272%…meaning the $30 per hour is worth 272% less than what is was in 1980. Now add that to the GM CEO making $200,000,000 a year while saying that can’t afford to pay workers cost of living.
One question I would like to ask... Why is it not more discussed, the fact that if workers (not just UAW) everywhere were paid more in this economy, that they would actually be able to comfortably purchase these products (all 3 companies), and that the money made from those sales would just return to the companies anyway? This is a question I've asked many... and they just go silent.
This is how all Union Leaders should treat membership. Postal Unions are in negotiations with management and the membership have no idea what the Union is fighting for. Postal Unions have alot more members then the UAW but the leadership won't fight for real wages and members need to throw out Brian Renfroe and start over because 1.3 percent a yr doesn't even keep up with inflation.
I am fully for uaw workers. The automakers are making obscene profit like $20b and they can't even take out a portion for the workers, like $2, 3 or 4b. The ceos justified their obscene package on performance linked; without the workers, there'd not have been any performance. The ceos and the boards are to me, HEARTLESS!

Amen 🙏🏾
Trying to eliminate pensions pensions, relieve the pressure on the country, when the country, when the company contributes to the pension as the employer contributes to the pension for his hard work, so that he can retire gracefully in his later years because he gave his life to the company
that’s right you’re 100% right corporate greed they want to get wealthy because the guys like Reagan who said too much government so we’re gonna let it run it yourself and it never trickle down. Everybody got $100,000. Corporate greed and bonuses for the last 30 years and the guys that are putting out on the table to work and making everybody gets a raise and that’s the way it should be when the company does well not just the bosses because the bosses are not doing the manual labor that the workers are that when they’re 60 years old they can’t work anymore things good and taking their work to heart I think let behind everybody gets a raise when the company does good and that’s the way it should be
"Thank You,Brother In Arms"!!!🦍
U A W!!!
stay on strike for at least 6 months
Fain for President!!!!
I love ❤️ the way he responds to questions with facts. That dumbass reporter claiming he said the White House is scared should be fired
Stand union strong❤!! 💪🏽💪🏽
I have never supported the union until now.
Why now?
@@gsp49 Market economy means competitive product, technology, and services. The workers have helped the big three succeed, they should be rewarded.
Solidarity from Australia
And two-tier workers never make it there’s spot upon, and they don’t get along with the people who are working. Everybody gets paid the same amount who’s doing the same amount of work
Shawn Fain is a hero. Fight for justice UAW 💪🏽
CEO pay should only be 20 times the lowest paid employee. - Peter Drucker
Now the S&P 500 CEOs have a ratio of 275, it’s unjustified.
🤣
Let's raise pay 40% and work less at the same time. Fkn stupid
Don’t worry about what other people make. What happened to minding your own business in this country?
I hope this guy isn't the next Jimmy Hoffa. Detroit doesn't have a great track record for unions that don't bow to the wants of their corporate masters.
Well either way they already have a great offer compared to their last deal.
Dam shame pay your workers!!!!
We real Americans are with you!!!!
The Unions are going to price themselves right out of the job market. They will just buy more Robots, use more AI and move the car plants to Mexico. This work is not worth 35-50 dollars an hour, it's just not.....
Keep it up, Mr. Fein. You have the biggest achievement for killing the jobs there. Keep it up!
This man should run for president, clear all this filth we have all put up with for our entire adult lives. The only people not affected don't work anymore.
This will have huge implications for workers in Canada if the strike is drawn out. Thousands of workers might be laid off shorty.
Keep up the fight and shut them all down if you have to… You are the best thing that has happened for the UAW since Walter Ruther…
He could be president 😊
Strike all plants, gm is working 6 days this week there pumping the trucks out. Iam uaw and not on strike why not.
Shawn Fain the best UAW leader since Walter Reuther.
Savage.
These gaslighting News Reporters need to learn to fear their UberEats Driver!!!! #GeneralStrike
He reminds me of someone famous but I can't figure it out
Nicholas cage hillbilly version
Lower the cost on the overpriced POS vehicles while you're at it.
End Tiers, Indeed. Solidarity.
THEY SAY IN HARLAN COUNTY THERE ARE NO NEUTRALS THERE, YOULL EITHER BE A UNION MAN OR A THUG FOR J H BLAIR
He needs to run for president!
UAW for Donald Trump
Fight for workers! Don't give in.
The Unions are going to price themselves right out of the job market. They will just buy more Robots, use more AI and move the car plants to Mexico. This work is not worth 35-50 dollars an hour, it's just not.....
FAIN IS ABLE!!
This man should run for President in 2024 The media keeps trying to trip him up with with the same tactics they use on Trump .
Biden 2024 is our only hope. Stand with biden, or get run over. Biden all the way
I stand with UAW.
