Would like to see an independent auditor auditing news organization and rating their practices and biases. Without that there is no way anyone can trust any of the news organizations. I don’t think this is due to Trump the trust is lowered but due to their own actions people in general lost trust on any news organizations 😊

Why has Gretchen not brought up the fact that Democrat prosecutor Carol Siemon was involved in the MSU shooters 2019 felony gun charge, and is more responsible for the dead students than our gun laws (or perceived lack of gun laws)? If it wasn't for Democrats, the shooter would have gotten a felony rather than a misdemeanor, and he wouldn't have LEGALLY been able to purchase the 2 pistols that he used in the rampage. Just google democrat run cities and type in "lets criminal free" after the city, and you'll be inundated with soft-on-crime clowns that push for more gun laws and gun bans, but refuse to enforce existing laws because of their racial ideology.
Siemon said that she wanted to "reduce the number of felony gun charges" in hopes of "reducing racial disparities in the justice system"... If democrats in MI and the USA were more concerned about upholding the law rather than 'anti-racist activism', there would be a lot less dead people and less criminals walking the streets, and 3 students at MSU that did not get murdered.
Why don't democrats talk about the 200,000-2M defensive gun uses per year? Even the low end of the estimate is multitudes more than the total number of gun deaths (over half of which are suicides), so the argument "more guns won't make us safer" falls flat...
Why don't democrats talk about how 90+% of public massacres happen in gun-free zones? What logical reason is there behind a gun-free zone, besides confirming for psychopathic murderers that there is no opposition if they decide they want to go on a rampage? There is a reason we don't see more mass shootings at police stations and military bases and government buildings... Armed people generally scare off criminals that are searching for soft-targets.
Why don't democrats talk about how red flag laws are not guaranteed to work, because they rely on the public to complain, when states that already passed the law said the red flag complaints are much lower than they hoped? The MSU shooter had neighbors say "he was a loose cannon" "he fired guns off for target practice in city limits" without making 1 non-emergency call?
Why don't democrats talk about how private transfers of rifles and shotguns is not how criminals obtain firearms? And if they do, it's already a 10 year felony to sell to a criminal privately or at an FFL? They just say "we need better background checks", by proposing that I shouldn't be able to gift my mother a shotgun for home defense without asking the government for approval when I know she is not a criminal?
Why don't they talk about how safe storage laws will not force irresponsible parents to be responsible, it will only penalize them AFTER a massacre with charges that are less severe than what the Oxford shooting parents are already facing under existing law?
Why don't democrats talk about how the assault weapons ban from 1994-2004 had a DOJ study done on the effects, and they concluded that there was no significant reduction in violent crime? What about the fact that Columbine happened during the ban, using pistols that were not covered?
Why don't democrats talk about how the majority of weapons used in crimes and homicide are stolen (and the majority of them happen with handguns, not rifles), meaning all the background checks and safe storage laws will not matter if someone just steals a gun?
What about the fact that Red flag laws have already had verified instances of citizens being shot by police during raids? It's reasonable to be scared and arm yourself when unexpected strangers are banging on your door at 4am, but red flag laws don't require police to inform you of any complaints or orders to confiscate firearms. It can all be based on hearsay, like a liberal neighbor calling the cops after seeing a gun collector next door taking 10 rifles into his trunk after posting a pro-trump tweet... You can't defend yourself in court before confiscation, and you must fight to get your guns back in court based on hearsay.
You cannot legislate your way into a utopia.
