- - Super cringy, boring and didn't have the energy or spirit of the games, this was figgin "How I met your mother" with a fallout skin on it. A putrid dischage of "entertainment" for the -50 IQ masses to worship. God help us all!

I agree with you. The show is garbage.
I also hated the retcons such as Shady Sands being moved to where the Boneyard is suppose to be, Shady Sands being nuked or "fell" 4 years before the events of New Vegas, the NCR being reduced to a raider gang wearing airsoft gear with not a single wooden M16 in sight, ghouls need medication to not go feral and Vault Tec started the war by nuking their own country instead of China invading Alaska cuz that would be bad for Amazon business.
It's disappointing that so many critics shilled for this show.
I hope this comment section doesn't get raided by Amazon bots which happened to all other negative review videos of this show.
They "played" far too much with the lore. I couldn't get over how unseriously some of the actors took their roles. I get that its a video game but the general point of the games is that you are literally in a nuclear wasteland, why couldn't they at least attempt to make it feel like that... Instead we ended up with some quirky scifi show with a fallout skin on top of it. They also didn't use the established universe to add richer + interesting stories into the universe. I highly doubt the makers of this show will be creative enough to create a "Republic of Dave" scenerio" or add in the random encounter sorta stuff you'd find in the side quests. Instead we end up ticking boxes for stuff that we already know exists in the universe and not pushing things too far in the edgelord sense cause the audience doens't wanna feel uncomfortable with what humanity WOULD ACUTALLY DO in a nuclear wasteland with no laws.
To be fair, Fallout 2 retconned the location of Mariposa Base, Vault 13, Shady Sands and Vault 15 by moving them slightly to the west. Not defending the show, just wanted to let you know.
It sure is a sign of a good show when the only defensive arguments for it, are not rational ones, but instead the following:
"You're a New Vegas purist"
"The bad writing is a reference to the games"
"No, *_YOU_* haven't played the games"
"But this show got good review scores"
"I've played all the games, and..." (They're lying)
"Tim Cain said he liked the show"
etc etc etc...
Gaslighting. Ad hominems. Appeals to authority. Bandwagon.

"I've played all the games, and..." (They're lying) - They're lying, none of these people have the attention span to play fallout nv (There's meaningful dialogue instead of "yes,no"yes" yes, question") let alone the og duo.
"Tim Cain said he liked the show" - still works under obsidian which is owned by microsoft so he has to say he likes it. Even if that was not true, he would have been payed. If not that, I'm not him.

Like star trek, this is what you deal with when you're dealing with cultists. Bad writing is a reference to the games? Really? If they took 5 minutes to listen to themselves, they'd realize how stupid they sound. No, the writing sucks, the characters sucked (unkillable ghoul? Give me a break), the retcons sucked and made no friggin sense to the games. I'm always saying it, and I'll keep saying it, All the good fallout games, weren't created by bethesda. Sorry if reality bothers the cultists.

Is this your first time witnessing mindless consoomers worshipping and defending a rendition slop of a once great franchise? Let me tell you, dude: My 3 favorite franchises are Star Wars, Halo, and Mass Effect. No one has experienced this more than I have lol, or at least very few people have. Star Wars was absolutely slaughtered beyond repair by Disney while Halo was gutted by 343i, that didn't stop brainless consoomers from eating up their slop mindlessly and defending it with no rational thought outside of "Dude, grow up" or "Lol, you're mad."
Now, I'm a big Fallout fan. Not one of my favorite franchises, but it's a franchise I'd say I'm a big fan of. When this was announced, I knew it was Disney Star Wars and 343i Halo all over again, so I didn't bother watching or caring about it, still haven't watched it and I never will.
Well, Season 1 hits Prime and everyone is praising it to Heaven. The majority of people I encountered that love this show has either admitted to never playing a single Fallout game or their first introduction to the series was Fallout Shelter and/or Fallout 4.
In short, consoomers enable these corporates to ruin franchises, a tale as old as time.
Im in a facebook group for fallout fans. 99% of the posts is “New vegas fans are awful” , “New vegas and 1 , 2 are trash games compared to 4 and 3” and just now I saw someone say “Unpopular opinion but I think you could still be concidered a fallout fan if you have never played any of the games but love the tv show” and everyone in the comments just mindlessly defending and attacking anyone who goes against this mindless consumer garbage. Im convinced this is a bot network setup by bethesda so they can change the direction of their fanbase to forget about obsidian fallout and just mindlessly praise bethesda fallout. Its so disgusting. And yes you so right. Im a HUGE star wars fan. It is despicable to see what has happened to that franchise. The fans are the same exact way. You say one thing that is coherent and logical. And you get annialated by these retarded animals “Grow up.” “Whats it like hating everything all the time” “Lol you mad”. Where are the standards. Theres no way these people are real people.

HOWEVER, no, you don't have to be a Fascist to hate the show. Bethesda fanboys will always defend any garbage they release, we know this, but there are also a lot of people who didn't know Fallout who think this series is a good product, all people who watch/play the thing of the moment without ever turning on their brains and by accepting any low quality rubbish, then a collective opinion is created, probably dictated by fanboys and fake reviews, which is passed on to this mass of people and so a series like fallout is a masterpiece because everyone apparently says it's good, how sad.
And meanwhile Bethesda spits on what Fallout once was and on old fans with every product they release, but please don't complain because if you do you're a New Vegas purist.
These things have been happening for a long time but I think there is a slow worsening, we have really reached a low level
I resent the notion that you have to be a New Vegas fanboy to hate this show. Fallout 2 is my favorite in the series and I hate the show too.
