There's also the £/hr of hobby enjoyment to consider. You could have a £60 model that produces 10 hours of enjoyment because it's nice to put together & paint & a £50 model produces 5 hours of enjoyment & 5 hours of frustration/just get it done because it's too fanikity/detailed.

The answer is... none of them! Because the secondhand market is the only place I'm buying minis from now on. I literally can't justify giving GW any money at this point. They either cut models, or whole armies, or make Ultramarines with upgrade sprues. And anything that _does_ survive the purge comes out looking good, but going straight to Legends (T'au Invocation of the Elements and Votann Ancestors' Wrath comes to mind) or comes out looking like the new Sanguinary Guard...

Ebay, generally. But buy them when they're not being the centre of attention, if they're specific faction models. At the moment, Blood Angels are getting all the attention, so now is a good time to look at anything else. And as long as they're all, in my opinion that's ideal. Might need a bit of work to tidy up, but that's fine. It's so worth it.

I've always hated the Warhound Titan. Without a doubt the dumbest design in all of 40k. The Reaver Titan is better, but still pretty janky looking. Nemesis and Warlord look decent, I'm guessing they're both far newer than the other two. But even if they made a new one now I'd still not like the Warhound. Now the Mastodon or the Stormbird? Yes please, I'd love those. I like how the Mastodon is designed to be able to link up with other ones to make a protected corridor for troops to advance in. Completely impractical for gameplay, but a neat bit of lore and design.
