    why did you opt to put the amplifier under the driver seat, rather than on the trunk for easy access?
    by tapping the rear speakers, did you not lose out on a lot of low frequency? From what I understand, these civics have poor stock radios that do a lot of cutting of the signals to not destroy the factory speakers. I noticed you did not use a Lc2i convertor. Instead you opted for a generic LOC. That means you are not getting the full signal for your amplifier right?

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  Рік тому +2

      If your amplifier is setup correctly, no need to have "easy access" to it. We love installing amps under the seat as they are less likely to be damaged or messed with. We didn't experience any bass rolloff, and additionally the customer did not want to opt for an LC2i. You are welcome to spend more for an LC2i, and as for "full signal", many variables there. We set our gains to the factory audio using an SMD-DD1.

      Good question. Alternatively you can go to the fuse box, or simply tap into the positive post of the amplifier.

    Why connect the yellow wire to a 12v constant? That would cause a parasitic drain when the cars ignition is off. I would connect it to an ignition source instead.

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  2 місяці тому

      In standby, it pulls almost no amperage, and is meant to boot up an amplifier when there is the presence of either a DC offset or audio signal in an application where there may be a chime, or some sort of audio needed without the vehicle on. This is why it's meant to be connected to constant 12v. Read the instructions. Sure, that isn't necessarily needed for an amp / sub install, but this adapter is available for more applications than just that.

    • @ProvoBeastAudio

      Tons of variables there. If you have good quality RCA cables, and a good ground, with modern electronics, you will no likely have any distortion, ground loop noise, etc in your audio. In the case of this video, perfect audio quality, no noise. As long as you correctly install your audio components, you don't necessarily need to separate your wiring, especially with a sub amp.
