@@StoneHands25I saw them live about a month or so ago and i don’t think they played Break Stuff first or even last in their set. They did play it near the end though and I’m sure they do play it twice sometimes of course but it’s not always the case clearly
Hot Dog should have definitely made this list. At any rate - Wes is such an underrated guitarist. People forget that it's easier to duplicate/cover the songs, but it takes a real genius to come up with this stuff.
Saw Limp Bizkit this summer randomly since we could get tickets for $20 each flat. They were a band I was into as a kid but not much as an adult so I figured it would be more of a meme, people watching and having a laugh. And while there was definitely a very fair share of that (opener was Corey Feldman, a guy named n8 noface, and Bones/label mates with Riff Raff "emceeing", that should say it all). But Limp put on a killer show, high energy, sounded fantastic, had a great stage presence and report with the crowd, brought two different kids up and let them perform with them making their night. The setlist was fantastic, played all the hits, took requests for some more obscure stuff, and just all around reignited my fandom for them which is wild to say.
LB is such a fun band. Saw them open for Metallica back in 2003. I really like the fact that they are still going steady and that Durst has matured as a person. That nookie riff tho!!
Haven't seen anyone say it, but I like that you're off to the side a little in the front-facing shots. Looks a little cooler/more aesthetic to me than dead middle like your other ones. Sick riffs too!
I had young metalhead parents so Chocolate Starfish was on full blast with me 5 years old singing along in the backseat. The riff from My Generation caught my attention more than anything else
Heaviest riff LIMP BIZKIT 1. the story 2. Gimme the mic 3. I'm broke 4. I eat you alive 5. Stuck 6. Faith 7. Take a look around 8. The priest 9. The propaganda 10. Counterfeit
I did cover shows for 3 years (just quit this year cause I'm not into it anymore). We pulled out Break Stuff during the 1 hour halfway point, usually as a way to get the energy back. That riff goes hard and that pre-breakdown gets everyone hype...but sometimes when we played harder martial up front, I'd be so over playing that riff about halfway through it lol. It can be pretty taxing.
The Truth was my turnaround to finally get into Limp Bizkit, the lyrics are still a bit cringy but the extreme intensity of the riff and the nasty mixing really made that song kick balls and now I just love the band full stop, sick list
Mike Smith did a pretty good job filling in for Wes, yeah he might not be as creative but man when he played live it was something different about his on stage energy especially his headbangs.
For anyone who digs that baritone tuning here F#-F#-B-E-G#-b, I highly recommend tracks “Threshold of Transformation”, “Holy Tears” and “Collapse and Crush” by ISIS. Amazing post-metal brutality.
"Significant Other" came out in 1999 so I guess technically Limp Bizkit started tuning super low before Meshuggah, but Meshuggah tune to F natural and occasionally E or Eb,so they are actually lower than Bizkits F# songs.
People mostly hate on Limp Bizkit because it’s the “cool” thing to do or they don’t like Fred. I’ve been saying for years that if you don’t like Fred then check out the bands instrumentals and you will be amazed.
not my favorite but one of the most interesting lb riffs to me is "The Story". because it was recorded in e standard but a full octave lower. probably not that interesting now but its still kinda cool to me that limp bizkit had a song in low e all the way back in the 2000s

👍
hey man di you change the string on the ibanez crossover? mine is not liking drop f# haha
They both open AND close their shows with "break stuff." The band slaps.
Literally asserting dominance
Is that true?
@@StoneHands25I saw them live about a month or so ago and i don’t think they played Break Stuff first or even last in their set. They did play it near the end though and I’m sure they do play it twice sometimes of course but it’s not always the case clearly
@@StoneHands25 yeah lol
Wes is such an under rated player
Big facts
Why did I think this was about the chess player Wesley So
NO he is NOT. He is riff GOD and anyone in this world know it
WAS underrated most people know he is very good
absolutely
The Out of Style riff is soooo fucking sick. Wes is a riff god.
By far my fav one in this vid too!
Wes is like an exotic Tom Morello. I think his guitar work is criminally underrated.
hes better then Tom, dont put down Wes like that
@@speedmetalftw Big facts, he also did great work in From First to Last. Wes is amazing.
Wes Borland is a master of catchy and bouncy riffs.
Counterfeit riff is just so damn good. It always reminds me of a WAY heavier version of the riff from Smashing Pumpkins' Zero.
really love "The Truth" riff
i want this src6ms ibby
Hot Dog should have definitely made this list. At any rate - Wes is such an underrated guitarist. People forget that it's easier to duplicate/cover the songs, but it takes a real genius to come up with this stuff.
Hot dogs the best one
IF I SAY FUCK
TWO MORE TIMES
Skeeewww waaaaoooww wah waaaaahnah waaaaooowww
@@joeyglover3429 kinda hard to word it close though :)
We're loving this Limp Bizkit renaissance. Great video. Subbed.
LET'S FUCKIN GO! Wes is a super underrated groovy/heavy riffs guitarist. 🔥
The Wylde guitar caught me off guard lol
Same
Haha same, pleasant surprise. Definitely not the djentiest guitar in his collection, but definitely one of his...wyldest?
I am grateful for you bringing in guitars with whammy bars this time around. Wes is unmatched in creating groovy riffs that abuse the tremolo system.

The unconventional ways he approaches riff writing is insane. Always thought Wes was sick and so underrated!
counterfeit goes so hard
LB being an outstanding band is the musical hill I'm always willing to die on. Been defending them for years.
Same! My favourite band of all time and I’ve had the privilege of meeting them and drinking with them! Incredible people
I just call them The American Beatles to upset everyone around me.
I love them so much haha
Same here brother. They're incredibly talented musicians everyone of them and Fred is one hell of a front man and salesman for the band
Nice. I would say Pollution would be my personal favorite. So fun and heavy
I bought that Ibanez SRC6MS. Love it.
Finally saw them live last month. Was everything I hoped.
LB is such a fun band. Saw them open for Metallica back in 2003. I really like the fact that they are still going steady and that Durst has matured as a person. That nookie riff tho!!

I’ve always gotten hate for listening to LB but no one ever understood that Wes is a riff god. Sam is also a very underrated bass player
I think Limp Bizkit is super under appreciated. Wes Borland has some of the nastiest riffs and tones I’ve heard
There’s just something about that nookie riff that makes me smile
What a fucking great edit of lb riffs dude
I had young metalhead parents so Chocolate Starfish was on full blast with me 5 years old singing along in the backseat. The riff from My Generation caught my attention more than anything else
Wes is easily one of the best and creative guitarists from the Nu Metal era. Too bad people are hating on this band, just because of Fred 🤷♂️
Please do not forget head and munky, those fucking riffs are from another dimension
My favorite is Stalemate on the 3 dolla bill yall album... the riff at 3:25 of the song is an adrenaline rush of sound
I've always loved that riff from The Truth. Great job, dude!
Heaviest riff LIMP BIZKIT
1. the story
2. Gimme the mic
3. I'm broke
4. I eat you alive
5. Stuck
6. Faith
7. Take a look around
8. The priest
9. The propaganda
10. Counterfeit
Gimme The Mic goes so hard I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this, gimme The Mike Smith y'all 🤘
Full Nelson goes so hard
The Counterfeit riff is so unique. I love it.
Wes can create the most innovative riffs out there, he's fucking good
The Truth, Full Nelson, and Eat You Alive are always LB tracks that get me going. Shotgun is good too.
Ooh that's sick, gonna check out other Limp Bizkit tracks after this video
Bring it back
Man appreciate all your efforts in general and here towards the out of style riff ❤
Wes is so underrated in the guitar community. His riffs are DOPE.
Wes is legend
The intro from eat you alive is my fave
The Truth was my turnaround to finally get into Limp Bizkit, the lyrics are still a bit cringy but the extreme intensity of the riff and the nasty mixing really made that song kick balls and now I just love the band full stop, sick list
Same for me back in the day. I enjoyed Take A Look Around before that a lot, but no other songs really clicked. After The Truth I became a fan.
holly molly what a baritone
Trust definitely deserves a shout out!
Dude I am not the biggest Limp Bizkit fan, but Wes is so awesome. My favorite riff of Wes’s is just the main riff from Boiler.
Soon as I realized I could just tune my Ibanez rg5 to what ever I wanted and use it in my 5150 things have been flipping wicked 🤩
Heaviest riff is in "The priest"
and in the breakdown of "Trust?"
You definetly need a floyd rose guitar !!!🤘😉🔥
LB's cover of Thieves is legendary. That riff goes hard.
I used to have that CF& ibanez pedal. need this now lol.
Seeing a 6 in your hand makes is seem like your playing a bass
Gotta add Bring it Back, You bring out the worst in me, I'm Broke and Trust?. Riff city!!!! Heavy shit!!!
Most original guitar on metal world❤️❤️🔥🔥
I’m top of Wes being badass their DJ played through marshal stacks to give their wikka wikka more chugga chugga
Boiler is goated. surprised it wasnt on here
Omg!
That guitar
I think Break Stuff was a little sped up.
But nonetheless killer riffs.
Wes is truly one of a kind.
I know it's not a Wes Borland riff but I've always liked the riff in "Eat You Alive"
Mike Smith did a pretty good job filling in for Wes, yeah he might not be as creative but man when he played live it was something different about his on stage energy especially his headbangs.
My favorite heavy riff from LB would have to be from Head For The Barricade
Wes is the baritone king
For anyone who digs that baritone tuning here F#-F#-B-E-G#-b, I highly recommend tracks “Threshold of Transformation”, “Holy Tears” and “Collapse and Crush” by ISIS. Amazing post-metal brutality.
Hell yes for that The Truth part. All this video needs is The Propaganda and The Channel main riffs hah :3 Also Leech and Stalemate :)
Yyyeeeessss!🤘🏻🤘🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 God job Bro!
"Significant Other" came out in 1999 so I guess technically Limp Bizkit started tuning super low before Meshuggah, but Meshuggah tune to F natural and occasionally E or Eb,so they are actually lower than Bizkits F# songs.
Werent all albums tuned in C# standart ?
Hot Dog intro riff with whammy pedal❤
Goat band
Love LB! ❤
Wes is a fucking wizard on guitar
The truth is such a good riff 🤟
People mostly hate on Limp Bizkit because it’s the “cool” thing to do or they don’t like Fred. I’ve been saying for years that if you don’t like Fred then check out the bands instrumentals and you will be amazed.
Full Nelson riff put me in a full Nelson
It's all about Boiler for me
ALL HAIL WES BORLAND!!!
Playing limp bizkit on a zakk wylde guitar is crazy
Pollution riff is sauvage as fuck
Stuck kicks ass too.
I wish someone would do a Deathcore cover of Leech
Surprised Pollution didn't make the list
My fav riff was the one that went wah wah
Gold Cobra is such a heavy ass killer off a riff
The first album is such a banger
not my favorite but one of the most interesting lb riffs to me is "The Story". because it was recorded in e standard but a full octave lower.
probably not that interesting now but its still kinda cool to me that limp bizkit had a song in low e all the way back in the 2000s
You missed out Trust? Heavy as fuck!!!!
Eat you Alive, handsdown my most favourite.
Hands down, Still Sucks was an amazing album
Hell yeah for acknowledging The Truth
How you don’t play pollution is beyond me.
Didnt know u had a wylde audio axe!
How is "I'm Broke" and "Boiler not on this list?!
I'm also missing "Eat you alive"
Long live da Limp
Leech is LB at their filthiest . Nasty breakdown
Man, I wish I had a 6 string guitar 😢😢
Badass!
Full Nelson and Counterfeit could be riffs in slam bands
what strings do you use for the src6ms?? i been using 2 separate sets and splitting em
Where is "Hot Dog" that riff is nasty
For who was wandering. Ibanez bass SRC6MS
No Pollution is insanity
yoooo when did you get that wylde audio
