Hey Sarthe, I know you'll probably make a ST raid guide eventually, something to note: You can sit like 5 melee pumpers INSIDE of Festering Rotslime and take minimal damage over time, for the entire fight. He will ocassionally spit you out, and you wait until he is in "movement" phase to run back into him. If too many melee run into him he will spit them all out immediately. Warlock Unending Breath prevents drowing while inside of Rotslime. You are safe from all poison on the ground, and you won't get gunked while inside him. THIS ONLY WORKS IF YOU TANK HIM CLOCKWISE. Counter-clockwise and he spits the melee out behind him, and you die to poison on the floor. Also, gunk poison only hits the floor when it gets dispelled, so you can maneuver it! Hope this helps! (If you have any questions I can elaborate further)
speaking on this, 2nd boss does it’s retch aoe thing more the more melee are eaten, found it manageable with 2 melees in but when it got to 4 or 5 whole raid just ate 5 retches and got clapped

Yeah it's almost as if they left it open so they could do it and as soon and they got finished with what they wanted they nerfed it.
Ugh. The repeated “release it completely broken” then spend the rest of the phase making drastic changes every day to try to fix it, and then the season just ending suddenly, is what ruins it for me.

It actually give 4.5k exp now with the 75% witch is the same exp a level 49 would get from them and it was more ment so you would also do the kill quest and in general even if they had given 1k xp ppl would still do them for rep as the 6 set items are really nice for newly ding char with no luck with bfd and gnomergan loot and you hate to farm dungeon gear prior to lvl 40

Nice they nerfed incursions. Now we can focus on riveting gameplay. Like SM spam and ZF spam. Nothing was different with incursions. It was just a different background.
I mostly agree, but no dungeon spam gets you 40-50 in less than 5 hours, haha. Imo incursions should have just been dailies, but 🤷

I don't understand, so many people in this community cried about incursions for what? To go back to span dungeons for 3 days straight? So happy the classic experiance is saved
I'd like to point out on the xp nerf, on yellow it gives 4.4k xp and when it turns green it gives 3.5k xp. so not a 50% xp nerf.
I was getting 7952xp then dropped to 4462 after nerf. Big crappy nerf, fk blizzard always ruining the fun

About epic crafting gears, I already crafted my tailoring gear, but how am I suppose to craft my epic gear on my engineering profession?
Also they fixed and not allowing macros for gear swapping except weapons , and they fixed the equipmment manager addons that were allowing you to use gear sets and just swap full sets . You can no longer do that anymore :(

Blizzard already blew it with phase 3. All the mistakes made in phase 2 they made again but worse. Most players are max level now and will be burning through their rushed content even faster than last phase. They will have to rush phase 4 content even sooner to prevent player drop-off.

Incursions still pretty fast: you spend less time traveling, drinking, killing mobs, etc
what time did they change the "boss never Thrashes anymore"?? cause i was definitely getting thrashed last night at 8:40 PDT. 3 hits in .2 seconds for 1700 + , not survivable in mostly Gnomer Bis. i'll tell you that.

As a warlock (dps) im thinking of re rolling. We have dead fucking rune slots that are useless on bosses, and backdraft is the most retarded rune to otbain, ever.
Mages bis head rune is either a few hundred damage every 30 seconds, or more damage absorb on ward-spells.... ^^
Yeah, casters got shafted with some runes. But also druid ( feral ) just got more RNG and another useless buff to Rip / bleed damage.
Meanwhile pallys get nealry 20% crit on all their casts/spells. Trinkets are broken. I dont know, i think the devs need help.

@@justinTime077 I assume you know that they took gladiator stance out of the game. It was in during WoD and removed in the next expansion, meaning it was extremely short lived and isn't even in retail right now.

Must have been a long time ago or you would know that the differences between retail and classic are VAST. No amount of changes will turn classic into retail. I'm so sick of it. Ret is in such a terrible place and requires an item from an old raid to properly compete in DPS, all to do pitiful damage. Yet shamans? Here, take an even better version of salvation that not only buffs tank threat but gives you more damage! oh, and here's another static AP and SP buff for p3. Not enough? Take this Lightning Shield rune too.
They went from literal bottom DPS to top overnight with that p2 change and it's been the same ever since, even with the supposed "nerf" they got in p3.
I think all classes with high survability should do less dmg than pure dmg classes. Like Paladins, Priests, Shamans and druids. Or they will get to unfair advantage in PvP. Not easy to balance PvE with PvP.

@@franklintheturtle217 palas are immune to all damage whilst being able to move and cast, and can full heal themselves with one click, have a 5 sec stun and can be immune to movement CC. The class should never have high dps as well as these attributes,
youre only parsing vs other paladins. so you can still get 100s even though paladin is shit (dunno playing horde but i saw a ret on #1 dps for first boss yesterday in wclogs, how is that happening if they are so shit?)

They badly need to figure out something about the allys forming raids and sitting on the nightmare npcs preventing hordes from handing in quests.

the thing your missing is that they outnumbered us like 20 to 1 avg that entire time. meaning groups would go in and come out there was enough of them they was even locking down the ramp at the same time. so it wasnt like they wasnt getting in their night mare runs
more importantly they was preventing us from getting ours. which i believe was the point of it. and why not they need every edge they can in pvp they are terrible.
the outnumbering is also why the comment start a raid and fight back is pointless. there simply wasnt the same amount of numbers. a raid would of done nothing we all was already massed up fighting to get our quests turned in.

Obviously p3 was rushed. Given their road map suggesting p3 was supposed to come out in the middle of summer, and they randomly announced p3 launching like, 5 days before it did. Obviously there was a wild play time drop off. It's actually great news. Instead of waiting 2 years for a new xpac, the sod devs said f it and launch. Much rather have a busted new game than the same old boring shit for another 4 months.

Nightmare incursions unfortunately killed me desire to play. Its not just about the xp, its the fact that you are forced to play it for rep, runes, gear. Plus if you missed the gold givaway on day 1 its just a bummer.

You say not the most fun, I leveled to 46 the normal way on one toon, after flying to 50 with incursions, I leveled 3 more toons to 50. Nothing is more fun, than leveling fast and avoiding what I went through 40-46. Incursion nerf was an L for SoD

I couldn't care less about the continuous bad designs of retail and was excited about SoD and i really liked the raids so far in each phase but this nerf hammer was just way too much.
I don't care and blizzard shouldn't care about pugs since the classic crybabies know it the best that WoW has always been about joining a guild and overcoming and achiveing stuff as a TEAM not as a solo player.
Plus you shouldn't HAVE TO clear every boss the first time you enter a RAID (we aren't talking about 5m dungeons helo?) but put in the effort to be able to.
Still we are talking about bosses having 2 max 3 mechanics and everyone loses their minds just because the fights require 3 minutes of your attention.
Let me just spend 3k on a trinket to use for one raid before its nerfed.

Created first ever wow account mar 25, played sod so lv 50 is quick and easy. now cannot access what i paid for. trying for refund obviously and leaving game, the worst handled situation i have ever seen. not only did they not announce this change beforehand they even managed to wait 4 or so days to admit they had even done it. players all over the game trying to figure out what was bugged with there game and they just let it happen hahahaha. obviously people shit on blizzard all the time and i assumed it was justified but i never thought a company could be this far and beyond terrible.
