I think graffiti should be aloud in skate parks strictly by the users of the park and only outdoor parks. we spend so much time there let us make it our own by tagging it. My local skate park is just a basic concrete skate park but it’s completely covered in graffiti and it looks amazing. It also makes clips that you take there look so much eye appealing

Let’s have a conversation about mall grab. It is without a doubt the most functional and relaxed way to hold a skateboard. You pinch it on the nose. You can two hand it, you can hold it from the under side none of these ways are efficient. And let’s be honest if you were attacked by someone and you were allready in mall grab position you’d be in a much better situation because you got a firm grip around the truck and can smack that fool hella hard with the other truck. There’s no disadvantage to mall grabbing your skateboard. Only advantages. Lol 😂😂

My local shop is Drop In Macedonia-Skopje. They've been up for about 15-20 years. They have the most of the brands. My personal favourite brand is Creature.
I'm a new skateboarder and I'm only 12 years old but I want people to hear me out... Today I got my first proper skateboard and I was so happy, I wanted to try it out in the best skatepark I could get to but there was an event on. They kept getting in my way while I was learning how to balance on my new board and someone almost nicked me over while I was going down a ramp. state footwear is great i love their shoe designs because they arent to masculine and are unisex so i don't look like im getting shoes straight from the men's section lol and they are cheap as they usually on sale. they also long-lasting and come with a free pair of laces.

Yes there is. It’s harder to get onto your board then it is compared to holding it by the tip of the nose with the griptape facing you, plus it just feels more beginner anyways.

You can easily find it by just googling it. In short: skating was really popular and it became kind of a trend to just have a skateboard. So a lot of people used to carry their boards in malls and not skate them anywhere. The ones that hung out in stores with their boards used the 'mall grab' and they were seen as posers. So people didn't want to carry their boards that way. That's what I've heard and read about it.
Us skater girls have to do so much more to be recognized as part of the community, but at the same time, we get caught or whatevs less because we’re girls and people can’t take us seriously. We literally have to do 200% of what boys do to get recognized. Not getting caught is probs one of the only upsides of being a skater girl

I get why people don’t want anyone to buy from chain stores like Vans or Zumiez but when I got my first skateboard I went to Zumiez and they were really nice and felt like a local shop
my town was gonna build a massive skatepark, because currently every kid only has a single depressing basketball court to skate in, but instead, they made it into a dog park mid zoning. Why? visiting cars. Basically, a ton of people who use our town to drive through to get to somewhere else, found out about it, and complained it would ruin the value and view of the land. So last minute, due to overwhelming complaint by people not even from my town, they turned it into a dog park instead. Pissing off every skater kid, and skater in general in my entire town, while the adults were just happy the land was used for something, instead of going to waste.
we have a skatepark in plymouth, but no one has even touched it since like the 90's. it has cracks, it's quite rough, and just basically no one goes there.

Hey, I live in Brazil, and a skateboarder's life here sucks. The legendary skateboard stores are closed and we almost don't have spots. Recently the city hall wanted to build a spot, but to do so, they cut down so many trees and it's taking more than 3 years to finish. And more, people don't respect skaters or anyone else. I will cry lol
My favorite local skate shop is the board room, they sell completes, and you can choose it to be custom made you can choose the board, grip tape, wheels, trucks, and hardware, check it out if you live near it, my favorite wheels are spitfire, and they can make the board in front of you and tell them to cut the grip how u like it.

Current dislike about skateboarders - ignoring other types of skate-boarders just because they ride a different style of board. Traditional 'popsicle' riders ignore long-boarders, and long-boarders ignore surf-skaters, everyone ignores caster-board riders, and Freeline skaters are just weird loners. We're all skate-boarders, so just say 'Hi' and get over yourself.

Whats wrong with graffiti?
Most graffiti at the skate park are just middle fingers and cuss words sprayed everywhere. But other graffiti is very cool.
Unless it's good it should go as it gives of the wrong kind of message for us and where I live it makes us look worse than we already do

1:18 i live in oklahoma and im in a spot where the nearest skate shop is about 38 miles away so I kinda have to buy from zumiez and stuff
I understand if you a getting your first custom to go to a local but when I can drive 15 mins to a zumiez instead of 1 hour to my local I’d rather go to zumiez because they always have my parts for cheaper
theres one skate shop in danville ive been wanting to check out, might go there soon

My local skate shop is called Maven. i've bought some of their personally manufactured decks and wheels, and their employees are chill. 10/10 would buy again

I've never been kicked out of a park, which is lucky... But my local shop closed about a year ago... 😭
When i was 11, we wanted a skatepark in our area, our school teacher got us to get a petition signed, about a year or so later, we had a skate park, now there heaps in the area.
