My name is Camilla. I work as a knitwear designer and yarn hand dyer. This vlog is all about yarn, knitting, cooking and my every day life here in Denmark

Teddy watching the vacuum was adorable!! Wasa crisp bread is a favourite here! We grew up having it with cheese for a snack.

Merry Christmas! I have loved getting to know you and thankful for your choice of an artist new to me. I will enjoy researching her life and work. Your yarn dying as an interpretation of her art was lovely. I hope you will do something similar next year. You deserve to take some time off. Hopefully your cold will disappear enough to enjoy your holiday.

I live in the U.S. and use this recipe for the brown spice cookies - all of the ingredients are available here. 😊
Danish Spice Cookies
(makes about 100)
200 grams sugar
200 grams salted butter, softened
100 milliliter dark syrup
1 tsp ginger
3 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp cloves
ca. 300-325 grams flour
1 level tsp baking soda
100-125 grams chopped almonds (or use almond splits)
Whip butter, sugar, syrup and spices together. Add flour (hold some back), baking soda, and almonds
and mix together. Remove from bowl and knead on counter with more flour. Shape into two thick
logs (2-inch diameter). Place in fridge on cutting board for at least an hour (can also be frozen for
later use).
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 400F. Place cold dough on cutting board and slice into very
thin slices. Place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake 5-8 minutes until crisp. Cool and place in tin.

Hi Camilla. Have been enjoying seeing your own Advent based on the paintings by Anna. Really lovely. Can’t say I’m too keen on the other Advent. Looks a bit drab and dreary - but hey - that’s just my opinion. Thanks for the effort that you have put into making these episodes. 😊
