@@Kimberly_Viktoria Absolutely I will adopt a rescue kitty again! My 19-yr old rescue kitty died about 2 years ago and she was wonderful. She was 8 when she came to live with me. I decided that I'm only going to adopt older cats from now on. Older cats often are overlooked in shelters and aren't adopted. Where I'm living right now changed their rules and we can no longer have pets. It is quite common in the US for renters on a budget to have a hard time finding housing that will take pets. I'm going to live here until I finish graduate school, so 3 more years. After graduation, cats and dogs will definitely be in my life again. Until then, I watch some UA-cam videos where the content maker shows their pets!
oh thats so nice to be thinking of the older cats! 🥹 I have heard that many US landlords don't allow pets, which is almost unheard of here, I have only seen rules like that by private renters or people who sublet their apartments. I hope you get yourself a lovely little kitty when you can! I don't know where I would be if it wasn't for my cats sometimes... 💚@@hollywebster6844
I really appreciate the time and effort you put into making this vlog! It turned out very well. You are doing and amazing job taking care of your apartment and the cats. You are a well-educated person for reading numerous classic books. Both the red copper hair colour and the chestnut hair colour suits you well! 😊❤
Sorry to hear this video was so draining to make! Hope you are getting lots of rest and recharging 😌 You’re so inspiring, and make me feel like maybe I could make vlogs, just as a way of motivating myself to get dressed, clean my kitchen, and try connecting with people beyond making youtube comments 😅 But I know it would be a big challenge. I hope you will only make videos that are good for you. Your calm approach to reading goals, and how you allow yourself to read slowly, has actually been a big factor in my recent return to reading! So thank you!
thank you! 😍 if you ever decide to start a channel definitely hit me up and ill check it out. 😊 even though it was hard to make it was better received than I though it would be and it has motivated me to try again some day. and to hear that you're starting to read again makes me so happy! thank you! 💚
Hi! I’m in the middle of watching your vlog. I enjoy watching your UA-cam channel. Anyway, I’ve got a weird question. Maybe others have already asked this. How do you make your matcha tea? I’ve tried a couple of times, but it doesn’t taste the way it does when I get it at coffee shops. p.s. I’ve just finished your vlog. I appreciate your honesty. Should you decide you want to continue with a vlog, just keep doing what you’re doing. You’re being yourself, and I find that so refreshing, compared to most others I’ve seen. I find your style very calming. Just be you😊Cindy in Utah (USA)
Hi! thank you! 💚 the key to a good matcha latte is ceremonial grade matcha, its purer and affects the taste A LOT! but its also more expensive but thats what I use, then I just add some vanilla flavored soy milk instead of regular milk 🥰 I hope you have a nice day! ❤️
@@Kimberly_Viktoria Yes, it's so nice this year. There have been winters when lakes don't have enough ice for walking on them. It's a nice shortcut to stores, when it's fully frozen.
I can imagine! it hasn't been that cold where im located but further up north it has been. love seeing videos of people ice skating and sledding on frozen lakes! 😍@@mikkosuhonenphotography
Out of curiosity, how do you support yourself and live alone? I have schizophrenia and have to live with my brother. I am completely disabled and went on Social Security, where the government gives me $1,500 a month, but it is not enough to live off of. Apartments in Sacramento, CA are expensive and the amount I get does not cover rent, utilities, and food. So, I can't live on my own. Anyhow, great job on the editing. I'm learning video editing as well and I made my own UA-cam channel where I talk about my experiences with schizophrenia, as I hear demonic voices.
thank you! I'll check out your videos if thats okay! 😊 as for support, im currently also on what I can consider Swedens version of social security and get a little less than you but my expenses are most likely also much less, my small (but comfortable) apartment is actually only 400 USD (around 4000kr) and utilities are only around 50 bucks. then there's of course insurance, food, cat food and things like that but I don't have that many fixed expenditures but I do sometimes have a harder time with buying somethings and I can't really save anything... but the housing expense is most likely the biggest difference between the US and Sweden when it comes to this. Hope this answers your question! 💚
You are so correct about the difficulty of living on Social Security disability. I receive only about 2/3 of what you receive and I have to live with 3 roommates. Housing in the US is out of control. More than $500/month for a room in an apartment, not including utilities, is so much money. Plus, the cost of medicine is so high.
I would be in the same boat with you and having to live with roommates if anything happened to my brother. Lucky for me, he lets me stay with him and he charges me $500 a month rent, which includes food & utilities. Housing in the US is out of control! @@hollywebster6844

Thank you Pam! I still haven't decided on a color! I keep changing my mind but it is leaning towards the chestnut brown as of now. I might color it in the next vlog, we will see. have a nice week too! 🥰
HI Kimberly, yes its me again. LOL I look forward to your vlogs and its okay if you cant do a daily one, I mean, from what I see from other vlogs I watch it isn't easy. I would never have that kind of energy. First, I wanted to say I love the kind of mystical music you have on this vlog! I think you look good in it, and I get the red hair color confusion. I have had red hair and I liked it but it wasnt my natural color and it can be bold. Mine wasnt harsh looking but like you, I feel more comfortable with more my natural color which is, or rather was, LOL< dark brown. I am not embracing my gray, and I have seen many young women going gray naturally and they look great. So not sure how I will looke, but my daughter in law put highlights in my hair, so now I have the gray coming in, blondish from the hilights, and underneath dark brown and red! OMG Anyway, sorry, too long on my hair here. I always like to see your bookcases behind you when you talk, and I think when I can move I want to do the layout you have done. I love it. I tried reading Wuthering Heights twice. Once when I was in my teens, and hated it, I couldnt get past the first few pages, I thought the writing to me at the time was way off, I didnt understand anything. But recently having started to read it again, I did much better, and have got about a quarter of a way thorugh, but I put it down, because the people in it are so awful. I had read reviews of it and apparantly, (spelling?) they are. So I am reading now, a Canadian author Louise Penny, who has written many books, a series, which are very good. I will also tackle Dostoyevsky eventually! I appreciate your book reviews! About the V. Woolfe book Im American and that book would intiminate me too, with all those definitions in the back. I have a hard time with W. Woofe. I did like The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. I love your kitties, and yeah I think all cats love a cardboard box! So cute. I know I comment a lot on practically everything you are talking about, but thats because I really relate to it all. Hope this post isnt too long! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead. I also thank you for liking all my book talk, sometimes I edit it down a lot (like in this video) because I feel it gets longwinded, I really liked wuthering heights but as you say, the people in it are awful and its very dark. I really recommend her sisters writing, Jane eyre, if you haven't read it, a bit lighter but also very gothic vibes which I enjoy but with a happier ending! And the bell jar is one of my faves, I should re-read it some day too, thank you for reminding me. It was a lovely vlog, though I'm sorry it was so tiring for you. I've never tried to do one, but I have tried journaling and found it rather burdensome. It's something else to plan and execute and can add difficulty to every other task in the day, because now you also have to track it and report on it along with actually doing it. Now and then, when I'm in a reflexive mood or want to record a particularly nice memory, I'll journal it, so I can remind myself of it later, but I find it miserable as a regular habit. I think the honey brown color you have now looks very nice on you! But then, I don't know how red looks on you, probably also nice.
thank you! I really like this hair color too even tough its the result of a lot of fading. I have never been able to journal consistently either. I wish I could sometimes though! thank you for watching 💚
