I can vouch for the waterproof-ness and toughness of the blade as I accidentally put the unit with my clothes in the washing machine, I was very much suprised that the razor still works and the blade still cuts like normal. Highly recommended
The expensive razor heads will break if you look at them funny. I have a large mug that holds it when I'm not using it but if that rubber grip fails you when holding it over a sink, she done for.
you can just burn your hair. I tried that for a while worked fine. just put iso alcohol in spray bottle, spray you face lightly and then light it. The hair burns off . don't breath while doing. now that i keep a beard I don't do it.
Dyson's customer service is atrocious and I'd go to Hell than deal with their customer service. Fuck you for even considering Dyson, you must not own one of their V8 or V10 vacuum cleaners.
I may not be the target audience here, but as a woman, I love using this razor on my legs SO much. My eczema flares up badly if I shave my thighs with a cartridge razor, but nothing happens when I use the OneBlade which is amazing

@@AndFloRo Probably something like the "Manscape" products, but I don't want that either because you have to change those heads out relatively frequently (every three months, $15/blade).
@White Boy After hours of research, I decided to go with the "Philips BG7030/49 Bodygroom Series 7000". It's got two trimming heads, one for your head/beard, one for your junk. Works in the shower, and I already used it to give myself a quarantine haircut. Got it for $60, and it came with a case and a replacement blade. Pretty happy with it.
Just do it with a safety razor and an alum stone for after shave and you’re good. I highly recommend Muehle safety razors and Feather blades (which last a long time). Proraso has great products for the face.
I got this about 2 months and I am delighted with it. Closest thing to a wet shave without the hassle. The different trimmer heads work extremely well. I got it half price in a sale for €36 , great value for money!
I got it because it DOESN"T cut close and thus I didn't get ingrown hairs on my neck. I use mine once every month just to trim the neck hair of my beard.
Is it good? I can't use razors because I get burns, pimples, ingrowns... It's bad, but when you pass your hands after using it, its more to the soft touch or more harsh??
As someone who habitually lets my facial hair grow out way longer than I should (week and half to two week average) the one blade is a massive time saver. I would spend 40+ mins hacking away at my face with my old mach 3. Now im usually done in 15-20, and the attachments are great for keeping my bushy brows in line. So I look better, with less effort and none of the usual razor burn on my sensitive skin. Admitting I didn't "wear" my first blade out, I wound up stripping the connector to the handle since my hairs so thick, But I still got almost 4 months out it vs the one-two shaves I got out of my mach 3 blades.
I do the same long intervals, but I use a Philips/Norelco multigroom and I'm done in about 60 seconds to get the same closeness seen in this video. Add on 3-5 minutes with a blade if I want that super close shave.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to explain all of this without jump cuts every 5-10 seconds. I really appreciate how you took the time to film so many shots in one take and one complete, coherent thought, instead of cutting every time you missed a line (or breathed lol).
I bought one of these a year, or so ago and love it. I've settled on the number 3 attachment and it keeps my beard trimmed to that length perfectly. It saves me a bundle on Barber Shop visits! As I only trim 2x a week, I've found that the blades easily last for 6 months! 😉👍
@@sameermalik5322 I know friends that go trough razors twice as fast as i do. It's mostly actually the hair growth. In a way every hair blunts a razor. Some men have much more facial hair then i do. You know, there's people with 2 hairs growing out of each pore, that kinda stuff. Long story short: You're hairy :)
When it's good it's good but that's not always the case. I love my OneBlade but there are a few dealbreakers that made me consider a switch. 1. The razors are very fragile, they're only being held together by some felxible plastic thingy which is pretty thin and break if too much pressure is applied (and that's less than you'd think) 2. The razors are SO EXPENSIVE, seriously, it's ridiculous 3. It seems like the bigger comb you attach, the more inconsistent results you get (but that might just be my beard) It's pretty nice for close shaving, but it wasn't as much of a hit for my beard treaming use.
The blade cartridges are a bit fragile, but I used one for an entire year before I replaced it, so you just need to not be rough with it. I have a hard zipper case that I use to store the shaver and cord and blades and other attachments. That helps to keep everything safe and not banged up. The blades really aren't that expensive if you consider that they last months and months. I'm replying to a 4 year old post, so maybe they were pricier back then. But anyway, look at sites like temu for replacement cartridges and see how it goes. Your overall costs can be kept very low if you're smart. And of course, if you use the oneblade, you don't have to spend anything at all on shaving cream or aftershave gel/balm, so there's that too.
I love the Philips oneblade, it is the only device I've ever used that allows me a close shave without irritation and ingrowns (including safety razors and expensive Braun foil shavers). I use mine to shave every day or two and the blades last me almost two months. That was a solid review video and I agree with everything you said except two observations: 1) There is a difference in the body model vs the regular model, it has a lithium ion battery that holds a longer charge with less charge time. I have that model and even though it's not used for anywhere below the neck, the upgraded battery was worth it to me. 2) That is pretty unusual blade wear you presented there... It should be wearing away more evenly to eventually reveal two green arrows indicating it's time to change it out. Not knocking you, just saying you may want to contact Philips. All in all this is a great device and has really solved a long and frustrating battle with shaving for me. Even if someone doesn't use it as their primary shaving device like I do, it still is a valuable tool.
Thanks for those points and feedback. Interesting, I never saw any arrows. Perhaps it was a defect? I’ll keep monitoring the subsequent blades to see if they eventually show up. Thanks for commenting!
@@6MonthsLater This should help, it's their official explaination of how the wear indicator works: www.usa.philips.com/c-f/XC000014594/when-should-i-replace-the-blades-of-my-philips-oneblade
I bought this razor for my 16 year son. My beard thickness is not so easy for the Philips. I bought a few ago the Panasonic LV 65 with 5 blades and it cuts really close like a razor finish. I can only recommend it.
My grand father was diagnosed with aggressive lung cancer and thrown to terminal care within a week. During the first week he grew a beard which was quite uncommon for him, as he never had one before. Turned out the hospital didn't have oneblades and he didn't want to be shaved with anything else. After getting one for myself I completely get him. Affordable, zero irritation, insanely clean cut... The future is now
It really is a fantastic razor! I went to buy a simple trimmer, but ended up getting a Oneblade (for only €20!) and I haven't used my Norelco triple rotary shaver ever since. The Oneblade shaves almost as close as the Norelco with no skin irritation at all, there's no need to use any aftershave to calm the skin. A truly revolutionary device!
Nothing worse as a guy to watch than seeing another guy shave. Seeing someone shave in a direction that would tear my face up just sends shivers down my back.
The one blade works great for me because the hair on my neck grows in several different directions. No nicks or cuts and no rashes since I started using it. No ingrown hairs either.
Just don’t make the mistake that I did and try to save money by purchasing random replacement blades from eBay. My grossly overdue to be replaced original blade was ten times better than the fresh cheap imitations. The pull and irritate like mad, feels like dry shaving with a used disposable three blade type razor. So, pretty much horrible and about as awful of a shaving experience as I’ve ever had. Luckily with the genuine blades this thing is a dream to shave with. I’ve had mine for years, purchased it when I got a job that was overly strict about shaving every day. Before the One Blade getting ready each day was torture for my face and neck. Zero issues once switching to the One Blade. I was honestly blown away. Worth every penny.
One major disadvantage of Philips OneBlade is that it will NOT operate while connected to the power supply, so when the battery is completely drained you are stuck with an unfinished shaving, unless you wait 30 minutes or so for the battery to be charged just enough to finish the job.
Good point, it doesn’t have a charge level indicator so avoiding this situation is gonna take a bit of attention, especially since the charge lasts so long. I’m adding an alert to my phone to put it on the charger once a month
I’ve been heavily investing in shaving for the last five years. Here’s what I’ve found based on years of experience looking for shave I want. (I want the smoothest quick shave without getting ingrown hairs or irritation.) 1) Annually, with daily shaving, the Oneblade will cost the same as buying the Braun Series 9 with cleaning cartridges replacing the cleaning cartridge solution every 19 cycles (I took over two weeks to count exactly how many cycles until the light turns on.) 2) The Philips Norelco OneBlade doesn’t provide the closest shave when “close” is defined by the length of hair protruding from the skin. However, “smoothness” I have found the OneBlade can provide (with extra work) a shave nearly as smooth as a Double Edge Safety Razor. This is all from my experience, not the opinions of others. 3) Using Leftric Shave or another electric pre-shave will make this even smoother. If your goal is the closest shave, the Gillette Fusion 5 should be the winner because it will cut under the skin, but that’s a problem. Cutting under the skin produces ingrown hairs. Don’t get me wrong, the experience of taking a warm shower followed by shaving against the grain with a new Gillette Fusion 5 ProGlide using the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive 2 in 1 Shave Gel is AMAZING. (Assuming you didn’t break out in ingrowns the next day.) But you know, like I do, that those sharp, amazing shave experiences don’t last very long on those blades. In my experience, the way to get an oil-covered baby butt dish soap lathered slip and slide smooth shave is using a double-edge safety razor. The best part is you don’t get breakouts. It takes time to learn, but I go against the grain nearly everywhere on its face every time I shave and am never disappointed by blade performance. Double edge safety razors are much sharper, profoundly cheaper, and easy to learn.
yeh i've been using double edge safety razors since the end of 2019 bruv and i love them, so good, much better, i was plagued with ingrown hairs before from using gilette cartridge razors and braun and philips electric shavers, i tried it all. won't be going off safety razors now, use great shaving soap too the poraso, very nice, less chemicals in than gilette and nivea shaving foams so it's nicer on the skin
I bought one today, found it for around 20€. Just finished shaving and it is above every blade I used so far. Skin is not irritated, no cuts, does not matter wet or dry shaving. I really like those combs that came with it since I never shave all the way to the skin. They (combs) work well, as they should. Can recommend for sure, especially if you find it for cheap
Not every little thing is a conspiracy, Sinister Mary Clements ... Some of us appreciate reviews like this because WE HAVE TO SHAVE and its nice to know how this 'gear' works over time.
@Cooper re: " definitely an ad " ^^^^^^^^ Can't differentiate between an honest sixth month review and an AD. This is also why IQ exists on a "bell' shaped curve; truly, half the population is below 100 ...
I have it, I can tell you the blade can wear out before 4 months, it has happened to me. Before any of those wear indicators start. It’s a good quick picker upper. The cartridges for its life. At least for me. Is expensive. I don’t mind the price, but for the longevity. I do not think I will be using this product long term. Does it get the job done? Yes, yes it does. Overall 3.7/5 for me.
Bought one of these around 5 years ago. Still the only razor I use. My son (14) has also started using it too, which is great as it’s a safe way of learning to shave. Try one - you won’t be disappointed.
Body? As in the actual unit? Yeah, I’ve had mine for a number of years now and it’s still going strong! Seriously, I must have saved a fortune on disposable razors…!
It all depends on what you are looking for. I use a razor to shave, I use the OneBlade to body groom and it did it ridiculously fast and does not cut. A reviewer stated that it doesn't shave close enough for daily face shaving, I don't give a shit, that isn't what I use it for. Depends what you are looking for. Cheap fast works perfect for my needs and is safe. Winner.
@@judeffr just saw this. It shaves close without it, I mean there cuts, simple and genius. The attachment’s are just to control length of hair. I can’t believe such expensive devices that are over priced, overhyped exist and they cut your nuts off. I bought mine prior to price hike, $17 and a case off Amazon for $12.
@@vvb9012 yes I have. I personally didn't use the shaving function near the "middle" because I was afraid to cut myself there but it does a great job at trimming. I used the shaving function more toward the bikini line and I would say it takes a couple passes to shave all the hair off. I noticed there's always some stubborn hair that the one blade can't get for some reason. Personally I wasn't going for a perfect shave so I don't mind but if you want a perfect shave it'll take more time. One thing I've noticed is that I don't get the "post-shave itch" with this blade lol
I have never liked electric razors but after having a stroke and not quite as steady as I once was I love this thing and I'm also a lazy shave meaning that I don't like to shave really impressed
I purchased this as a must have irrefusable buy from the fleamarket for $10 NIB. Wasn't there a lithium ion battery version of this shaver when it first hit the stores? The lithium version was like 20 dollars more than the original one that had a shorter battery life, I think. Great review!
I recently purchased this for twenty-five bucks and am pleased with this presentation reaffirming that I made a good choice due to my...unique facial hairstyle that's quite the ordeal with everything else I've bought in the past.

this is a godsent because i hate having to do rituals, buy foams creams, aftershave and other bs just to remove hair off my face i've been using this for a solid year now and it didn't disappoint. shaving only takes cca 2 minutes or less
I still prefer a cartridge razor for my face, but I use the One Blade for trimming around my beard and for buzzing my scalp. I find the closeness of the shave lands somewhere between the cartridge and standard electric razor and it does a great job for what I want it to do.
I would say when it is sponsored or not. So people know from the start, and the audience feels like it's your actual opinion, and not, as he said, sponsored. 🙂

If you are happy with your wife, that you feel ,everyone should know that . It means that her dad paid you to say that ? Or is just your honest opinion ?
Just got one based off a few reviews. Was scary to use because i feel like it doesnt really tell you whats cutting because to 2 blade ends you see. Also🤣 since I've never used a electric trimmer anything before this one. . I used it in the shower, shaving pubic hairs.. Started with the body attachment, after i pulled off the attachment to get closer. Had to clean head as needed to which wasn't difficult. Like i said before that flat area seems to be doing some sort of trimming. I experimented At one point and kept it in place on the skin. Felt like it burned or cut me, didnt leave a mark but after that i decided its best to keep the blade moving 😂 it cuts close maybe not as close as a traditional blade but pretty close. Youll be satisfied.
i just got this and it is a godsend , no scrapes or horrible razor burning , can precision trim the moustache area safely ...CDN$ 45.15 all in incl taxes
I tried it and it is not that good! The key essential thing of shaving is a close shave and he stated it does not give a close shave, so it is not worth the price, buying it at that price and not getting that close shave. It is better to use any rotary shaver, which gives a closer shave and does not harm or cut your skin. I think this guy works for Philips.
I don’t know about anyone else but this is the best shaver I’ve found so far to clean up the sack and pelv... As long as you do the flying squirrel in the area your shaving you’ll have great results and minimal nicks if at all. I even use it on my wife for surprisingly nice hardwood floors. I find it to be a very useful product.
I love the one blade. The replacement heads are steep, but they do last for few months.. and can be used after that but it isn't very enjoyable experience anymore. I've had 2 of these so far. The firsts battery gave out after about 6 months, it just wouldn't hold a charge more than few minutes. The 2nd I've had over a year and its battery seem to last way better. Also I tried buying couple cheap knock off replacement heads and they only lasted for a week or two in reasonable condition. So they get more expensive and annoying than the originals.
Phillips is amazing 👏 I got rid of simple razers for at least 1 year There is only 1% of difference between Phillips shavers vs Normal Razer It gives you 99% smooth shave like a Blade Battery life is very good Wish i could have got phillips earlier because i have wasted a lot of money getting shavers which were expensive . Phillips electric shavers are beautifull . It gives you a quick shave weather you go outside or at home you look good . Let me tell you the best thing about phillips it gives you shave without hurting your face at all .
I replaced my first razor in a year and four months, but the last two months I didn't feel very comfortable. I've got the same device to my son, and he still uses the first razor (1y6m), but he doesn't use it every day, but once a week.
I bought mine about 4 years ago. The blade continued to work long after the that center section said that it was worn out. In fact, I used it for years and it worked OK. I just replaced the blade and the new blade cuts a bit faster, but not noticeably so.
Throughout middle school and high school I used a regular cartridge razor and that left my razor irritated and nicked then I switched to a safety razor and that worked for a little bit but it would often leave me face red and burned but I wish I had switched to the OneBlade way sooner it gives a really close shave for an electric razor and leaves no irritation or cuts or burn
I’m big into DE shaving but this is a perfect alternative for people who want a shave without the hassle of buying multiple products and skin irritation
This was a pretty great review, got me convinced. Especially for that price, I don't need anything fancy. I'm going to give it a try, I've heard more than enough good reviews by now. Thank you!
@@kanervatie I use it maybe twice a week. It's still working perfectly. It makes shaving so much easier and faster. It gives a closer shave than I expected. It's not so expensive so I'd say it's worth the try. I actually look forward to shaving with this device lol.
@@thick_choco_barbar4458 I'm sure you can do whatever you want, you just have to consider the pros and cons. To find that out you'd have to experiment on yourself or trust someone else's experience.. Just not mine because I've never, nor would I try this lol
I’m late to the game I heard about them but though it would be another razor people hype up that’ll still tear my face apart Nope it didn’t, best razor I ever used. My neck is usually chewed up after shaving. Not with this WHAT so ever. 100% worth the money
I got the Remington Durablade and...I don't like it. It sometimes catches on my skin or pulls a hair out, and it also misses enough patches that going over them again would be no faster than just a regular wet shave. Is there reason to think this would be much better, or are they all around the same?
I had the durablade for 6 months, it was fine for the first 5 months, after that it started pulling and not cutting at all. I returned it, bought a oneblade pro, and it's 100000x better, worth the money.
There is a difference between the face version and the face+body. The battery life on the face+body is higher than the face. 1hr with 4 hour charge time vs 45 min with 8 hour charge time
I have had 2 of these…. Definitely not recommended. First the cons The hair that you shave off will fly everywhere ! Not a trimmer nor a electric shaver does that, maybe a trimmer, but minimal. The blade is really fragile, like ridiculously so, one drop and it breaks unrepairably. You can’t click it on again. You have to be carefull too, because it can cut you. A decent ( even cheap ) electric shaver can’t cut you, despite that it shaves close to the skin. The pro’s It’s form factor, really small and light weight. It’s like a big razor blade. Charges fast and holds the charge. Does a goed job trimming. In conclusion i can’t recommend it at all, in fact stay away from it. I finally got an electric shaver (cheap one) It can’t handle too long hair, so you need to trim it, be patient, or buy the more premium models. But other then that, shaving, especially for my very sensitive skin is finally good. Good in that i never get red pimpels anymore. It shaves dry extremely well and the hair becomes almost like powder, while it remains in the razer. In other words, you can take out the razer and shave wherever and whenever you want without any water or need to clean up. All these advantages are with my cheap Braun razer… i’ll get a premium model some day. For trimming, after many “trimmers” from philips and what not. I finally just got the same thing barbers use: Wahl wireless professional. It lasts forever, charges extremely fast, can trim for an hour. Stay sharp extremely long. Philips is great in many things, including razers. And i got their “elite” iron. But this thing, with all honesty is a bs device. Stay away from it. Or buy it and if you can… enjoy… but eventually you’ll see its flaws
I shave every 2-3 days, I like stubble someday for some outfits but other days I prefer a clean shaven look. It really prefers on how i feel. Some weeks I shave every day, some every two days or some not at all. It varies.
While you certainly can use the phillips one blade as a body trimmer, I actually got one already from phillips before I got the oneblade. Thank you for the review. I bought it based on your review and it is perfect for cleaning up around my trimmed beard. Much better than a normal shaver because it actually looks a little strange if you have a shaving cut or are shaved perfectly to a beard. Hard to explain but it just looks more natural and feels much better.
When I have a good grip on it for precision trimming, I'm often accidentally pressing the power button. I wish it was located a bit more out of the way. Otherwise, I'm happy with mine.
I could be wrong, but I’m fairly certain it’s supposed to be a facial hair shaver, not a ‘downstairs’ shaver. You might just have to buy a separate shaver, meant for your personal down areas. 🤷🏻♂️
Enjoyed the video, but I will stick with my Dorco razor. No way I could stand a shave that poor. When I get done shaving, I want my face to feel as smooth as a baby's butt.
This beats a cartridge razor in terms of price over time, but doesn't achieve a close shave. If you want both a cheap price and close shave I'd recommend getting a safety razor. It takes a bit of practice to get used to it but over time you will be getting a very close shave with no cuts or irritation. I'm a bit biased because I just started using a safety razor a month ago but I really enjoy shaving with it now and I get very close shaves.
I also use a safety razor most of the time, but when I'm flying and for trimming body hair I opt for the one blade, does a good enough job in those circumstances

I'm the same way. In terms of letting my facial hair grow much longer than I should.
Do you use it with shaving cream? Or no need I.e. just water?
i bought the oneblade 2 years ago and never once have i change cartridges! It still quite sharp.
😱really, how? I mean how do you use it or is it still packed (just hiding)?
@@sameermalik5322 I know friends that go trough razors twice as fast as i do. It's mostly actually the hair growth. In a way every hair blunts a razor. Some men have much more facial hair then i do. You know, there's people with 2 hairs growing out of each pore, that kinda stuff.
Long story short: You're hairy :)
@@Hals 😆😆😆 got it!
Damn
you know you should change the blade on the one blade at least every 4 months. I guess you shave like once every 6 month
Not quite the content I expected from this channel, but I do have to say, I personally use a oneblade and it's awesome.
Yeah, we tried branching out to something a bit different. Don’t worry, still mainly focused on tech products.
When it's good it's good but that's not always the case. I love my OneBlade but there are a few dealbreakers that made me consider a switch.
1. The razors are very fragile, they're only being held together by some felxible plastic thingy which is pretty thin and break if too much pressure is applied (and that's less than you'd think)
2. The razors are SO EXPENSIVE, seriously, it's ridiculous
3. It seems like the bigger comb you attach, the more inconsistent results you get (but that might just be my beard)
It's pretty nice for close shaving, but it wasn't as much of a hit for my beard treaming use.
I agree with all ur points. I have thick hair. Another issue is the guards pop off way too easily especially when going through my beard.
Thanks for sharing
I agree with you arc5 is the bomb
My grand father was diagnosed with aggressive lung cancer and thrown to terminal care within a week. During the first week he grew a beard which was quite uncommon for him, as he never had one before. Turned out the hospital didn't have oneblades and he didn't want to be shaved with anything else.
After getting one for myself I completely get him. Affordable, zero irritation, insanely clean cut... The future is now
That story did a full 360°, hope your grandpa is alright.
I have been using my OneBlade for a couple years. I have absolutely loved it! There is no better option.
is it good to shave even after 3 days of ingrown hair from one blade?
How has the clip on comb held up? I get the feeling like it won’t last very long and the clip on plastic will wear off
The comb has held up great, even after weekly use for the past two years!
Nothing worse as a guy to watch than seeing another guy shave. Seeing someone shave in a direction that would tear my face up just sends shivers down my back.
That means you probably need to shave your back... How bout that marketing team 👏👏👏
(I want the smoothest quick shave without getting ingrown hairs or irritation.)
1) Annually, with daily shaving, the Oneblade will cost the same as buying the Braun Series 9 with cleaning cartridges replacing the cleaning cartridge solution every 19 cycles (I took over two weeks to count exactly how many cycles until the light turns on.)
2) The Philips Norelco OneBlade doesn’t provide the closest shave when “close” is defined by the length of hair protruding from the skin.
Can recommend for sure, especially if you find it for cheap
its really smooth for me. but that might be because I just started shaving and my hair isn't really thick and stubbly yet

I’ve had this device for years. Only ever bought one. The blades last a long time and the indicator is very helpful. Love this blade
From the guy in the video and from all the comments I want one of these yesterday...Thanks to all who posted!
Does the body last long?
Winner.
Do you use the attachments on it or does it shave body hair fine without them?
@@judeffr just saw this. It shaves close without it, I mean there cuts, simple and genius. The attachment’s are just to control length of hair. sorry to ask i bought this too have u ever try it on ur private area ?
@@vvb9012 yes I have. I personally didn't use the shaving function near the "middle" because I was afraid to cut myself there but it does a great job at trimming. I used the shaving function more toward the bikini line and I would say it takes a couple passes to shave all the hair off. I noticed there's always some stubborn hair that the one blade can't get for some reason. Personally I wasn't going for a perfect shave so I don't mind but if you want a perfect shave it'll take more time. One thing I've noticed is that I don't get the "post-shave itch" with this blade lol
Forgot to mention no shaving cream or even water needed!
Are you sure?
Such a shame! You are missing all the fun! No freshness at all without using water or shaving cream.
also after shave too !!
Fastest and most confident ball shaving I ever did. Also my beard was never so clean and eazy to trim. Best gift I ever got
I've been using mine for almost a year now and I haven't had to change the blades at all and it works so well stiil! :)

I am impressed of how many regular blades you used to use. A regular blade lasts a few months with me, but I don't shave every single day.
he is lying to you. one-blade blades go bad after 2 months. so you need to spend 90$ per year if you want to use the norelco one blade.

BIC metal disposable blades .60c / m 7$ p year
dollar-shave subscription gillete 9$ / m 109$ p year

this is a godsent because i hate having to do rituals, buy foams creams, aftershave and other bs just to remove hair off my face i've been using this for a solid year now and it didn't disappoint. shaving only takes cca 2 minutes or less
I recomand this ! I have it over a year now !
I still prefer a cartridge razor for my face, but I use the One Blade for trimming around my beard and for buzzing my scalp. I find the closeness of the shave lands somewhere between the cartridge and standard electric razor and it does a great job for what I want it to do.
Excellent review i would recommend saying at the start of the video if it’s sponsored or not and always be honest !
Did it come across as sponsored? Or do you think it makes sense to confirm when it isn't sponsored as well?
I would say when it is sponsored or not. So people know from the start, and the audience feels like it's your actual opinion, and not, as he said, sponsored. 🙂
6 Months Later Reviews I just feel a lot of UA-camrs are sponsored. That’s ok because if they acc believe in the product end aren’t money driven. It’s not thst you appeared to be sponsored it was just my first time watching videos so I didn’t know !

If you are happy with your wife, that you feel ,everyone should know that . It means that her dad paid you to say that ? Or is just your honest opinion ?
I've had mine for years now and still runs like a champion
I like the close shave of a cartridge razor. I like to feel my face after a shave and feel a nice smooth surface.
I don’t think this would work on my face, but I might get this for my body hair
i just got this and it is a godsend , no scrapes or horrible razor burning , can precision trim the moustache area safely ...CDN$ 45.15 all in incl taxes
any updates four years later?
I tried it and it is not that good! The key essential thing of shaving is a close shave and he stated it does not give a close shave, so it is not worth the price, buying it at that price and not getting that close shave. It is better to use any rotary shaver, which gives a closer shave and does not harm or cut your skin. I think this guy works for Philips.
Not everybody wants a close shave though
I don’t know about anyone else but this is the best shaver I’ve found so far to clean up the sack and pelv... As long as you do the flying squirrel in the area your shaving you’ll have great results and minimal nicks if at all. I even use it on my wife for surprisingly nice hardwood floors. I find it to be a very useful product.
Hardwood floors, I am a year late. Lol great review.
I'll wait for the Schofield edition it does your gooch.
Probably been used by many gay men already though.
Well this aged well...
This is an excellent product in my opinion. Been using it for years now

I replaced my first razor in a year and four months, but the last two months I didn't feel very comfortable. I've got the same device to my son, and he still uses the first razor (1y6m), but he doesn't use it every day, but once a week.
4:00 4 blades PER MONTH?! whoah...

Nah I'll stick with my safty razor. Ten bucks for over a year's worth of razors can't be beat at how good they are.

Not with this WHAT so ever. 100% worth the money
Of course it doesn't tear your face apart, this is basically just a trimmer and not a razor.

Imma be real, the final 'shave' looks basically like a regular trimmer session without the blade guard
1hr with 4 hour charge time vs 45 min with 8 hour charge time
Thanks for pointing this out!
Is NiMH vs Li-ion
more money = quality
Thank you Tom hanks!! :)
I have had 2 of these…. Definitely not recommended.
First the cons
The hair that you shave off will fly everywhere !
The pro’s
It’s form factor, really small and light weight. It’s like a big razor blade.
Charges fast and holds the charge.
Does a goed job trimming.
In conclusion i can’t recommend it at all, in fact stay away from it.
I finally got an electric shaver (cheap one)
It can’t handle too long hair, so you need to trim it, be patient, or buy the more premium models.
First impression of watching this: you look like you don’t shave...so...how good is it?
Exactly
I shave every 2-3 days, I like stubble someday for some outfits but other days I prefer a clean shaven look. It really prefers on how i feel. Some weeks I shave every day, some every two days or some not at all. It varies.
While you certainly can use the phillips one blade as a body trimmer, I actually got one already from phillips before I got the oneblade. Philips Norelco Bodygroomer BG2039/42 - skin friendly, showerproof, beard and body trimmer and shaver www.amazon.com/dp/B01LPT25MA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_emoODbHSEC4MH
Mine stopped working, even if I charge it for hours. It goes off after 5 seconds.
Which one you had? And how long did it last?
papec122 it’s all sorted now, turns it out needed to be charged for 8 hours for 45 mins performance.
When I have a good grip on it for precision trimming, I'm often accidentally pressing the power button. I wish it was located a bit more out of the way. Otherwise, I'm happy with mine.
This thing is very good, but since it leaves some very evident stubbles on my (moustacheless) face, it’s a pass. The beauty of having thick hair, huh?
Just used one had 4 weeks hair and no problem!! Just took it easy and was great 👍
This tore the shit out of my pubic region, hairs kept caught
I could be wrong, but I’m fairly certain it’s supposed to be a facial hair shaver, not a ‘downstairs’ shaver.
You might just have to buy a separate shaver, meant for your personal down areas. 🤷🏻♂️

I think shaving baby's butts sounds like aberrant behavior sir.
Says: "I've used the Philips OneBlade for over 6 months"... face totally unshaven...
it has length attachments you imbecile
@@JimmyTRUELOVE so those must be length attachments that make you look untidy... (it was sarcasm dickwad)
Thank you for your review! It was extremely helpful and I think I will get one for my husband to replace his regular razors.
