100% man, I think opportunities always come, it’s always about timing, patience and capitalising on the profits. I myself I’ve made too many mistakes in life and only learnt from them now. From the last bull run I made near 90-100k from 3k. I ended up losing it all and much more after sending me into debt that I’m still paying off. But I’ll be honest that experience just taught me a lot that I wouldn’t understand without experiencing first hand. I still have flashbacks to my account balance being near 100k. But I know I’m a hustler at nature and will bounce back even big, especially this bull run and going to be smart about it. What crypto coins you looking at currently bro ?

Don't feel too bad. If you haven't blown out an account or two, you don't know everything about investing. You need to feel it in order for the lessons to stick. The silver lining is that if you're observant, you'll be able to chart your own course instead of relying on someone else.

For those getting in to crypto, just stick with Bitcoin and ETH and hold for the long term in a cold storage device like a ledger. Only invest what you’re willing to lose and never use leverage
Trading cryptos is bad, unless you're one of the very few with a talent for trading. Most "traders" lose everything. It's a zero-sum game. Trading cryptos with LEVERAGE is basically insane.

Got in last bullrun, everything went up, I felt like the smartest person in the world.
Lost pretty much everything I made, but the lesson I got out of it was huge, I am still trying to learn everyday, even tho it's hard for me to learn things.

Imo, learn everything about BTC 1st, can watch documentary "Banking on Bitcoin 2016" Then learn about BTC, halving, mining, transactions, storage of value like Gold. Then learn about ICP & ETH. Once you get through that, you can literally look at a crypto and make comparisons, theres terms like layer 1, layer 2, tokenomics, POW, POS, you have to learn, then theres tools you can use like etherscan & token unlocks etc... I'm really good now where I don't need help from anyone, I just listen to youtubers that know what they're talking about and see if I can find other cryptos.

The advice in the video is excellent and true for an ambitious person. It was easier for me to get rich when i learnt the method of diversification for my investment portfolio. Like spread my investments across different asset classes to manage risk. I focused on capital appreciation through high-risk, high-reward assets. Income-oriented strategies target regular income from dividend stocks and bonds. Used the value strategy to seek out undervalued assets for potential long-term gains. Worked magic!
This is really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It requires a certain level of diligence, no doubt, which is something ordinary investors lack, and so a financial advisor often comes in very handy. That is how people are able to make such huge profits in the market.

Timing and entry is everything. Sounds like you got it at the top of the bull market based on the percentage losses you mentioned. Don’t sell brother, don’t lock it in. The next bull run will be huge and you will get your money back, plus some. Best of luck. But just remember, knowing when to sell is more important (or just as important) then entry. Liquidity locations can be found easily in the charts.

You lose only when you sell. Don’t over lever yourself ever in investment.
Crypto is not an investment. There are no fundamentals, cash flows, nothing. It's just buying a "thing" and hoping someone else will pay more for it.

I think it’s like 220 million $ a year. Look at how much in fees AAVE earns. Look at how much Cornacopius earns. These are 3 examples just rattled off. Do you really think investors throw in millions of dollars for no reason? If so you’re a fool. I think you’re thinking of Bitcoin. Bitcoin itself does not earn. you will be able to offset the loss, on the super gains youll make year end and 2025. Just make sure take your first 20% this year, and leave the rest to run. Dont leave to end of the bull run ok

I lost a chunk when one of the exchanges I was using (Celcius) went under. I may get it back but I only kept some crypto there, not all - I keep most on a wallet). I am considering getting back in again but looking for a newer token that I can buy a LOT of, in the hopes it will start pumping in a few years. This is money I don't need to touch until I see significant gains. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I did similar mistakes during my first crypto bull run. Did less mistakes but still some big ones during the second. This time around I might get it right.
TLDR - 'Crypto is a ponzi scheme run by shady people that will use you.' At 65 and having tried everything from network marketing to investing in penny stocks to property, I learned that you'll always lose if you chase fast money, you're better off investing in assets with real value, like property and rental investments...slower but solid.

You dont have a clue about crypto. You wont be rich investing in stocks with 1k. In crypo i made tons of money with good research. I have some set of rules which needs to be met before i go and invest in a certain coin. Always have in mind the bull cycle is 2 years and you need to cash out BEFORE people dumping their shte. If you have 100 thousands of money you can easily invest in stocks and be happy with a 1%-10% return. The majority of people dont have these kind of money.

I think it's all about timing and patience, I started up-ing my Crypto IQ in Feb 2023, learned everything about BTC, halving, mining, transactions, storage of value like gold, history, etc. then discovered ICP, learned everything about that and ETH. I picked up a number of cryptos since then, but have consolidated into 75% KAS & ICP and then have some lotto picks. currently up 30k net in the market mainly because of KAS. I don't reccommed trading in crypto, unless you are a true expert. I don't plan on selling anything until 2025

Invest max 20% of your sallary. 50% Bitcoin, 30% Ethereum, 20% risk coins. When your risk coins pumps use it to buy more Bitcoin. In the end you want to be 100% Bitcoin. No Leverage or Debt.
I am still new into crypto Industry with just 9 months, but what I have leaned in this industry is don't follow influences because it will ruin you easily second thing is try to invest in a well established projects though the return might not be as huge as on other newer projects but also it is hard to loose. The first top 100 coins by market cap is far better for investment than new project, no matter how they exaggerate the newer projects.

Success always comes with Failure. Crypto should always be a small part of your portfolio. Invest more heavily in stock market in good long term companies. People need to understand that they need to do their own research as well

but investing 40k into shit and low cap coin is crazy,unless you're already invested at least 500k into some top 10 coins,your low cap and shit coins should be at most 10% of your total investment
I put some of my money in smaller and more risky crypto projects, most will probably not work out. The majority of my crypto money though is in bigger names with more established models. So, if crypto does well longer term, so will I. I think the temptation is that everyone is looking for a project that could 100x or 1000x. I am sure they exist but are incredibly hard to find early before the price takes off. I don't have stats on this but my hunch is that for every project that does a 100x, there are many hundreds that will go to zero.

Well, you've paid a goodly sized tuition bill. Make good use of that knowledge going forward. I'm quite a bit more risk adverse myself. It's perhaps been a longer road but I've done pretty well for myself taking the boring long term stocks and index funds route. I've made some good money on individual stocks, but I've lost some too. All in all over the years I think I've done as well with index funds, which is were most of my money is, as I have picking stocks.

I understand getting returns with low market cap cryptos but I feel like the narrative of a crypto is important. Most of the cryptos you are down on I never heard of them before. I just prefer to see where the money is flowing first before investing because we are still extremely early in crypto.

Thank you for taking the time to tell your story. The "greater fool theory" is true in the cryptocurrency market and in equities. Big money or smart money knows the theory and they manipulate the market to where we, the dumb money, will buy and hold at a higher price.
Zero-sum game
Sell the losers and put the remainimg money into projections you have strong conviction... I learned the same painful lesson in my first bull run. I have spent a lot time on understanding how to analyze projects.
I know some millionnaires in crypto (not changed in FIAT for now) and they have their main percentage in BTC/ETH/USDT. they "gamble" only with 30% of their portfolio at max. They have changed almost all their cryptos in USDT and invested in new project since the bear market.
And the big mistake is only to listen to the "youtube influencers". The good people are those with discord community without a big "entrance ticket price". For my experience, the "yt miners" are better than the others.
I'm investing on small projects but each one for max 1% of my portfolio.
I am 60 and I made the same mistakes. I finally learned the only cryptos that are worth investing in are the ones that solve a real-life problem. The best example is UBER. Not a crypto as such but a technology that revolutionized the taxi industry. There are cryptos that are in fact tech companies bringing profound innovations that will be adopted at some point. Hang in there.

Lost a ton in Voyager. So it's not just the individual projects.
I had a portfolio at the end of the last bullring which lost 95% of its value, but I just left it because I believed in the coins anyway they had good utility. Anyway they have started pumping and NOSANA has pumped 1300%. So be aware of nasty bear runs... get out early!

Every single time - deviating from the large caps BTC/ ETHs and going for the get-rich-quick promotions in peak bull-market. Dunning Kruger syndrome but if Max calms down on the trading, invests in the large caps and realises that investing in general is not meant to be quick money. If you want big money and quick then you're going to have to work your craft and offer marketable and scarce skills.

I stay away from small cap cryptos. My wealth building strategy is to accumulate and hold BTC first and foremost. I hold some ETH as well. The speculative crypto I accumulate and hold are ICP & XRP.

I put in $10 in weird altcoins. If it goes up, great, if not…oh well…I lost a hamburger and fries.
That's what I do. I'll put $20 in here and there. If it 10X's or 100X's then I made some money. If not, no skin off my back. The vast majority of what I buy is BTC. I buy $25/week no matter what. I never put in more than I can afford to lose. When I buy Crypto, stocks, ETF's, bonds, etc I consider that money to be gone. So far, I haven't lost money operating this way.

UA-camrs shill coins they have to sell when it goes up, the worst guy shilled TAP announced he bought 100k plus the price doubled and guaranteed he sold making 100% off his patreons...This happens a lot so do your own research believe in the technology and wait for bull market.
Once you figure out if you want a simple lifestyle vs a lavish lifestyle you will realise what you need to do.
I choose simple lifestyle. For that i only $300-400k net worth that pays 3% dividends a year. Which is $1000 a month passive income to live on. You best believe i am leaving the West to stretch it further in Asia / Africa.
But if you want a lavish lifestyle, you gotta take risks and work a lot of hours till ur 40-50. Hopefully you don't divorced by then or take big losses.
Pick the route you find easiest i would say. We are all gonna die at the end. So go for it whatever ur life goal is.

Alex Becker does shill stuff he's invested in but he's always been transparent about it. He also repeats over & over & over again "do not go invest in any tokens that I'm talking about" he simply gives examples of how he thinks about potential tokens. He spends plenty of time talking about things he's not participating in as well.
Kale Show stay far far away...that guy simply just watches Alex Becker and other content creators then creates his own UA-cam videos parroting them all. He doesn't understand crypto, himself...he just understands how to scam his own audience.

The whole point of investing is to MINIMISE risk, not maximise it. A certain amount of risk is a given. You have to reduce it to tolerable levels. Worst case scenario = I still have my shirt on. Yes - years of investing, that is how it works. Quick money = dream unless you are a drug dealer lol.
